[Class 35] An inductor alternator for mounting on a cycle wheel has a permanent magnet stator 14 having radial poles 12 carrying coils 18, surrounded by an inductor rotor 21, which may be of soft iron and has teeth 22. An insulating cover 38 carries terminals 20 and the wheel spokes are carried in holes 36, 37.
