Abstract
651,223. Ignition magnetos. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. April 29, 1948, No. 11794. Convention date, April 29, 1947. [Class 35] In an ignition magneto which is designed to operate without a contact breaker the stator comprises four polepieces 5, 6, 7, 8, of which opposite polepieces have the same tooth position with respect to the rotor teeth and which are alternately joined by magnets 14, 15 and cores 12, 13 carrying the ignition coils 10, 11. Each stator core member has several teeth which are narrower than the rotor teeth. Specification 651,219 is referred to.
