[Class 35] A motor with an axially-magnetized permanent magnet rotor has current impulses applied to its stator windings from a generator driven by the motor. As shown, the motor is as in Specification 564,865 and has in addition to separately excited windings 7a a winding 7 connected to windings 12, 13 on the generator, which has a circuit breaker in series with winding 12 operated by a cam on its shaft, the cores of the generator being similar to those of the motor.
