Abstract

699,482. Permanent magnet machines. LOHMANN-WERKE AKT.-GES. July 6, 1951 [July 6, 1950; Dec. 18, 1950], No. 16048/51. Class 35. A permanent magnet generator such as used for cycles &c. has a permanent magnet rotor a and stator polepieces e, c surrounding alternately the outside and inside of a stator coil b in such a manner that the polepieces e lying inside the coil are bent at d so as to bring their upper limbs f in the same circle as those of the outside pieces c, the central parts m of the pole-pieces c, e cross each other and they are joined at that point by a bolt h which also serves as a terminal. While the formation of the pole-pieces c, e in Figs. 1-3 enables the crossing and joining of the central parts without holes in the latter, those shown in Fig. 5 must have holes through which the joining bolt or rivet passes.
