Abstract
962,323. Dynamo-electric machines. SOC. D'ELECTRONIQUE ET D'AUTOMATISME. Sept. 1, 1960 [Oct. 2, 1959], No. 10153/64. Divided out of 962,322. Heading H2A. A coaxial combination of an electric motor and a H.F. generator comprises two discoidal coaxial stator members 12, 14 between which is sandwiched to define two flat annular air gaps 16, 18 a discoidal rotor member 10 having two coaxial separate flat printed circuit windings 32, 34, at least one of the stator members including a multipolar field structure 20, 22, 24 for the motor and a H.F. output winding 26 mounted over a multipolar field structure 28 for the generator, and the generator rotor winding 34 including magnetic material 36 inserted between the winding turns so that a current is generated in the stator winding 26 by modulation of the flux passing across the air-gap. Brushes, not shown, feed A.C. or D.C. to the motor rotor winding 32 which may be as disclosed in Specification 962,322, and the field structure 28 is a ferrite ring having poles induced by magnetization. The windings 26 have terminals 30, 31. Specifications 874,394, 902,295 and 947,769 also are referred to.
