764,803. Winding layouts for alternators. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Feb. 11, 1955 [Feb. 11, 1954], No. 4148/55. Class 35. An alternator armature winding has two parallel-connected circuits per pole per phase, the coil sides being disposed in consecutive slots in the order 122121121221 in each phase band, where numeral 1 indicates the coil sides serially connected in one circuit and numeral 2 those in the other circuit. The coil sides denoted 3, 4 under the opposite poles are similarly arranged.
