Abstract
188,312. Roveda, A. Riva-. Nov. 2, 1921, [Convention date]. Sliding window opening and closing apparatus.-Consists of a screw 4, rotated by gearing 5 - - 8 and a handle 9 on the pinion 8, a nut 10 engaging the screw and connected to the window by a slide 11, and two links 13. Projections 14 are provided at the top of the guide 12 for the slide 11 which force the guide inwards and project the window over the fence rail. Cams &c. 17 on the fence rail engage the links 13 on the downward movement of the slide and raise the window and withdraw it from the fence rail.
