Stays.-The stay-bar A is guided by a member D loosely mounted and Vertically movable on a pin E secured to the window sill by a plate F. To secure the stay in another adjusted position, it is first released from the pin E by lifting one end of the stay until the member D has been moved vertically a distance to enable the stay to slide above the pin.
