Pivoted window opening and closing apparatus.-Window opening and closing apparatus for casements, fan-lights, and pivoted windows adapted to operate inwardly or outwardly, and on right or left-hand side, comprises a screw L rotated by gearing and cord pulley H or other means, and engaging a nut or an inwardly projecting lug in a sleeve E and a freely sliding sleeve F. The sleeves E and F are connected to arms C, D pivoted on a pin which carries a bracket B screwed to a sash opening inwardly, Fig. 3. For outwardly opening sashes or casements, the bracket A, Fig. 7, is used.
