Sash-cord attachments.-Cords are secured to window sashes by means of a split tube 3 which enters a groove in the edge of the sash and is kept in position by a bolt 7 and a pocket 6. The cord is secured to the tube by a split cone 4 and screw collar 5, and access to the balance weight is provided by means of a sliding shutter 1.
