Hinged-sliding windows. - A window having two balanced sliding sashes 6. 7, adapted to hinge on rods 12, 13 by means of plates 17, 26, slidably engaging the rods and hinged to plates on the sashes is provided with auxiliary rods 18 supporting the rods 12, 13 and connected thereto by sliding pieces 22 between the hinges. A roller 28 secured to the sash 7 engages a hinged moulding 29. The plates 26 for the lower sash are cranked to allow for the greater width of sash.
