Abstract

Un hogar dispuesto para ser encendido con combustible pulverizado procedente de uno o más mecheros que están dispuestos de manera que dirijan los productos que salen de ellos, sobre una pared de choque adaptada para ser mantenida a una temperatura por debajo de la temperatura de fusión de la ceniza contenida en dichos productos, siendo dicha pared de sección transversal ondulada o en zig-zag que proporciona depresiones sustancialmente verticales por las cuales desciende la escoria formada por fusión de la ceniza cuando se ha formado sobre la pared una capa de escorias de un espesor particular.
