Abstract

Polímeros reticulados, en forma de espumas y absorbentes de agua, que tienen una velocidad libre de absorción (FAG) para una solución de sal común acuosa al 0, 9 % en peso de 4, 0 hasta 100 g/g segundos y que se obtienen por (I) espumeo de una mezcla acuosa polimerizable, que contiene (a) monómeros monoetilénicamente insaturados con grupos ácido o monómeros monoetilénicamente insaturados con grupos ácido neutralizados con bases metálicas alcalinas, amoníaco o aminas, (c) reticulantes, (d) iniciadores, y (e) de un 0, 1 hasta un 20 % en peso de al menos un tensioactivo, disolviéndose para el espumeo un gas inerte frente a radicales a una presión de 2 hasta 400 bar en la mezcla acuosa polimerizable y se descomprime a continuación hasta presión atmosférica, y (II) polimerización de la mezcla espumada con formación de un hidrogel en forma de espuma.
