Abstract

Un motor de dos tiempos del tipo de barrido en el cárter que incluye un pistón montado en forma alternativa en un cilindro, teniendo la pared del cilindro una lumbrera de escape y una lumbrera de transferencia trasera opuesta a la misma y formada en el mismo, en el que la lumbrera de transferencia trasera se comunica con el interior del cárter a través de un canal de trans- ferencia trasero, estando configurada la lumbrera de transferencia trasera para abrirse antes de que se cierre la lumbrera de escape por lo que durante la utilización el cilindro es barrido, un conducto de admisión dispuesto para suministrar aire de combustión al cárter, una válvula de mariposa del acelerador dispuesta para regular el flujo de aire a través del conducto de admisión, y un carburador dispuesto para suministrar combustible al conducto de admisión, caracterizado porque el interior del cárter está dividido al menos en dos volúmenes del cárter separados, un volumen de mezcla rica y un volumen de mezcla pobre, en que cada volumen del cárter se comunica con el cilindro a través de un agujero respectivo en la pa- red del cárter, porque la pared del cilindro tiene también al menos una lumbrera de transferencia lateral formada en el mismo entre la lumbrera de transferencia trasera y la lumbrera de escape, estando dispuesta la lumbrera de transferencia lateral para abrirse antes de que se cierre la lumbrera de escape, porque la lumbrera de transferencia lateral se comunica con el volumen de mezcla rica a través de un canal de transferencia lateral, porque la lumbrera de transferencia trasera se comunica con el volumen de mezcla rica, porque el conducto de admisión está dividido al menos en parte a través de su longitud en al menos dos canales de admisión, un canal de mezcla rica y un conductor de mezcla pobre, que se comunican con el volumen de mezcla rica y el volumen de mezcla pobre, respectivamente, y porque el carburador y/o la válvula del acelerador están construidos y dispuestos de tal forma que, bajo un funcionamiento con alta carga, substancialmente todo el combustible suministrado por el carburador sea introducido en el canal de mezcla rica, y que bajo un funcionamiento de carga baja, una proporción menor del combustible suministrado por el carburador es introducido en el canal de mezcla rica, introduciéndose el combustible en ambos canales de mezcla rica y mezcla pobre.
