Definitions
- the present invention relates to a thread take-off nozzle for an open-end spinning device with a nozzle insert for deflecting a produced yarn and with a nozzle socket by means of which the thread take-off nozzle can be fixed in the open-end spinning device.
- the nozzle holder has a cylindrical shaft.
- Thread take-off nozzles for open-end spinning devices have become known in numerous designs in the prior art.
- the thread withdrawal nozzles have the task of deflecting the spun yarn when it is withdrawn from the spinning device and thereby giving the withdrawn yarn a false twist.
- the spinning stability can be increased significantly and a uniform yarn can be produced.
- the DE 23 33 401 A1 shows such a take-off nozzle for generating rotation, which is arranged as an exchangeable mouthpiece on a yarn take-off tube designed as a smooth tube. This draw-off nozzle does not have a separate nozzle socket.
- the yarn circulates crank-like on the yarn deflection surface of the yarn withdrawal nozzle when it is withdrawn, so that the yarn withdrawal nozzles are subjected to a comparatively high temperature stress and wear, which can have a detrimental effect on the spinning process.
- Draw-off nozzles have therefore prevailed in the prior art, which are designed in two parts and consist of a nozzle insert which contains the yarn deflecting surface and is usually made of a ceramic material, as well as a nozzle socket which carries the nozzle insert and the fastening of the thread draw-off nozzle in the open-end spinning device serves.
- the shaft of the draw-off nozzle or the nozzle socket is provided with a thread so that the thread draw-off nozzle can be screwed into the open-end spinning device.
- a thread withdrawal nozzle is for example in the DE 103 30 767 A1 shown.
- FIG DE 37 29 425 A1 provided to fasten the draw-off nozzle by means of a holding element on the cover element of the spinning device.
- the extraction nozzle itself can hereby be kept shorter and smaller in diameter.
- Magnetic disks, clip-like plastic elements or combinations of ring-shaped fastening plates made of plastic with metallic spring clips are proposed as holding elements.
- thread take-off nozzles which manage without a nozzle socket.
- EP 1 367 154 B2 a thread take-off nozzle, which is made of ceramic and directly into a corresponding one
- the receiving hole of a duct plate adapter is pressed in.
- the EP 1 445 359 B1 also shows a draw-off nozzle which does not require a nozzle socket.
- the channel plate adapter which receives the nozzle, is made at least partially from a plastic material and has a clip closure and centering members for receiving the thread withdrawal nozzle.
- the thread withdrawal nozzle which only consists of a nozzle insert, can be clipped into the duct plate adapter made of a plastic material. This makes it easy to replace the extraction nozzle, but the clip device could be damaged.
- the JP S49 112925 U shows another embodiment of a thread withdrawal nozzle which is attached to a stationary thread withdrawal tube by means of a special fastening element.
- the fastening element in each case has an engagement area with which it engages on the one hand in the thread draw-off tube and on the other hand in the thread draw-off nozzle and is otherwise not described further.
- the object of the present invention is therefore to create a thread take-off nozzle which requires only a small amount of space and is inexpensive to manufacture.
- a thread draw-off nozzle for an open-end spinning device has a nozzle insert for deflecting a produced yarn and a nozzle socket, by means of which the thread draw-off nozzle can be fastened in the open-end spinning device.
- the nozzle holder has a cylindrical shaft. It is provided that the shaft of the nozzle holder is provided with a centering diameter and that the cylindrical shaft of the nozzle holder is shorter than half the centering diameter.
- the shaft extends between an annular contact surface oriented perpendicular to the shaft and a lower edge of the nozzle holder. The length of the shaft is understood to mean the extension of the shaft in the direction of the axis of the cylinder.
- the shaft which is comparatively long in conventional thread draw-off nozzles, is now reduced to a minimum, so that the thread draw-off nozzle has only an extremely low overall height and thus also in connection with very small spinning rotors with diameters of less than 28 mm or even less than 26 mm can be used.
- a nozzle holder is still provided, conventional nozzle inserts made of ceramic can still be used, which can be produced with existing tools.
- the shaft of the nozzle holder is only as long as is necessary for centering the thread withdrawal nozzle in the open-end spinning device by means of the shaft. It can therefore be made much shorter than a conventional nozzle holder with a screw shaft. Nevertheless, the thread draw-off nozzle is fixed in the open-end spinning device so that it can be easily replaced.
- the nozzle holder consists of a metallic material, in particular a steel or an aluminum material. Because of the metallic material the nozzle holder enables particularly good heat dissipation from the yarn draw-off nozzle to the open-end spinning device, which is not possible with a nozzle made entirely of a ceramic material. At the same time, the nozzle insert is protected from damage, especially during handling, by the nozzle holder made of a metallic material.
- the heat dissipation from the thread withdrawal nozzle can be further improved if the nozzle holder has a flat nozzle base.
- the nozzle base forms a further contact surface with the open-end spinning device and thereby improves heat dissipation.
- the nozzle base gives the nozzle holder a high level of stability, so that damage to the thread take-off nozzle when it is attached in the open-end spinning device or also during handling can be avoided.
- the nozzle holder consists of a ferromagnetic material, in particular a steel material, or has a ferromagnetic insert.
- the thread draw-off nozzle can thus be fastened in the open-end spinning device by magnetic forces, so that the cylindrical shaft of the nozzle socket only serves to center the thread draw-off nozzle in the open-end spinning device and no longer serves to fasten the thread draw-off nozzle.
- the shaft can therefore also be made particularly short and, for example, only have a length of 3 mm or less.
- fastening instead of the magnetic fastening, however, it is also possible to fasten the thread withdrawal nozzle in the open-end spinning device by means of a fastening means, for example one or more threaded pins. Fastening by means of a threaded pin also only requires a very small amount Required space so that the shaft of the nozzle holder can be made very short.
- the shaft of the nozzle holder has a recess for receiving a tip of a fastening means.
- the thread draw-off nozzle can hereby be fixed particularly well in the open-end spinning device.
- such a depression also enables the thread withdrawal nozzle to be positioned in its circumferential direction if it has an asymmetrical structure.
- the nozzle insert consists of a ceramic material. This is particularly wear-resistant and offers great freedom in the design of surface structures of the nozzle insert, which are intended to introduce a false twist into the yarn. Such surface structures can be designed as notches or spirals, for example.
- the ceramic material has a high wear resistance and provides a smooth surface.
- nozzle insert is glued into the nozzle holder.
- the production of the thread take-off nozzle can hereby be implemented in a particularly simple and cost-effective manner.
- the nozzle socket has an annular adhesive surface oriented perpendicular to a peripheral surface of the cylindrical shaft, which corresponds to an annular adhesive surface of the nozzle insert.
- an adhesive surface can be provided, for example, in the form of an annular, stepped elevation on the nozzle holder or in the form of a stepped depression on the nozzle insert.
- the nozzle base or an upper edge of the nozzle base facing the nozzle insert is arranged at a distance from a lower edge of the nozzle insert. This design helps to ensure that there is a defined, flat contact between the nozzle holder and the nozzle insert in the area of the adhesive surface.
- the outer diameter of the thread withdrawal nozzle is less than 18 mm, preferably less than 16 mm and particularly preferably less than 14 mm. This contributes to the fact that the thread withdrawal nozzle has an extremely low space requirement and can therefore also be used without problems in very small spinning rotors with a diameter of 26 mm and below.
- Figure 1 shows a schematic sectional view of a spinning rotor 13 and a yarn draw-off nozzle 1 in an open-end spinning device 2, which is only partially shown.
- the open-end spinning device 2 also has a spinning rotor 13 rotating in a known manner at high speed, into which a spinning material dissolved into individual fibers is fed via a fiber feed channel 19 (dashed line).
- the fiber feed channel 19 leads through the cover element 14 and ends in an extension of the cover element protruding into the opening of the spinning rotor 13.
- the extension protruding into the opening of the spinning rotor 13 can also be arranged on a channel plate adapter that can be exchangeably fixed in the cover element 14.
- the fiber material to be fed is tied into the end of the already spun yarn 5 due to the rotation of the spinning rotor 13, so that the yarn 5 is continuously withdrawn from the spinning rotor 13 via the yarn withdrawal nozzle 1 and a yarn withdrawal channel 16 of the cover element 14. Because of the rotation of the spinning rotor 3, this runs into the rotor groove 17 The yarn end reaches around the end of the yarn like a crank and sweeps over a yarn deflection surface of the yarn take-off nozzle 1. The yarn take-off nozzle 1 is therefore exposed to considerable thermal loads and an abrasive effect on the yarn 5.
- the thread withdrawal nozzle 1 is also attached to the extension of the cover element 14 (or of a channel plate adapter) protruding into the interior of the spinning rotor 13. To insert the thread withdrawal nozzle 1 into the cover element 14, the latter has a correspondingly shaped receptacle 15.
- FIG. 2 shows a sectioned detailed representation of a thread withdrawal nozzle 1 according to a first embodiment.
- the thread withdrawal nozzle 1 is designed in two parts with a nozzle holder 4 and a nozzle insert 3, which in the present case are connected to one another by gluing.
- the nozzle socket has an adhesive surface 11a oriented perpendicular to a shaft 6 of the nozzle socket 4 in the form of an annular shoulder, which corresponds to an adhesive surface 11b of the nozzle insert provided in the form of an annular, stepped recess.
- the nozzle insert 3 and the nozzle holder 4 are designed in such a way that they are only in contact with one another via the adhesive surfaces 11a and 11b. This configuration ensures that a very narrow and defined adhesive gap is created, so that only a very thin layer of adhesive is required and thus the heat-conducting contact between the nozzle holder 4 and the nozzle insert 3 is provided.
- the nozzle insert 3 is preferably designed in a conventional manner as a ceramic insert and is therefore particularly wear-resistant. Furthermore, the design of the nozzle insert 3 from a ceramic material enables surface structures 20 such as notches or spirals to be introduced in a simple manner, which improve the technological effect of the thread draw-off nozzle 1.
- the nozzle holder 4 is made of a metallic material, in particular a steel material, and thereby enables good heat dissipation of the temperature arising in the nozzle insert 3 to the open-end spinning device 2 the open-end spinning device 2 by means of a magnetic attachment.
- the nozzle holder 4 has a likewise ring-shaped heating surface 21 which interacts with permanent magnets, not shown here, of the open-end spinning device.
- the shaft 6 of the nozzle holder 4 is therefore no longer used to fasten the thread withdrawal nozzle 1 in the open-end spinning device and can therefore be made particularly short.
- the shaft 6 only serves to center the thread withdrawal nozzle in the open-end spinning device 2 and is provided with a centering diameter ZD for this purpose.
- the length L of the shaft 6, which extends between the annular contact surface 21 and a lower edge 22 of the nozzle holder 4, can therefore be reduced to a minimum and is shorter than half the centering diameter ZD.
- the thread draw-off nozzle can hereby be made particularly compact with only a small space requirement and can therefore be accommodated in the cover element 14 or in a channel plate adapter without any problems even with very small spinning rotors with a diameter of 26 mm and below. It is also particularly advantageous if the outer diameter AD, which in the present case also corresponds to a head diameter of the thread take-off nozzle 1, is also made particularly small and is, for example, less than 16 mm.
- the present thread draw-off nozzle 1 can be produced particularly inexpensively, since conventional ceramic nozzle inserts 3 from the thread draw-off nozzles known up to now can continue to be used without any problems. It is also particularly advantageous in the case of the thread take-off nozzle 1 that this is due to the annular contact surface 21 can be positioned very precisely with respect to its position or its distance from the rotor groove 17, since tilting can largely be excluded.
- Figure 3 shows another embodiment of a thread take-off nozzle 1, which can also be fixed in the open-end spinning device 2 by means of a magnetic attachment.
- the same components are given the same reference numerals as in the thread draw-off nozzle 1 of the Figure 2 Mistake. In the following, therefore, only the differences to the execution of the Figure 2 received.
- the thread withdrawal nozzle 1 has a ferromagnetic insert 8 for fastening the magnet, which can, for example, be designed in the shape of a ring or can be formed by at least two separate inserts 8 arranged on opposite sides. It is therefore not necessary to manufacture the nozzle holder 4 from a steel material, but rather a material with a particularly good thermal conductivity, for example an aluminum material, can be used independently of the magnetic properties.
- the connection between the nozzle insert 3 and the nozzle holder 4 can take place as described above by means of an adhesive connection via the adhesive surfaces 11a and 11b.
- the thread take-off nozzles 1 and the nozzle sockets 4 of the Figures 2 and 3 both have a nozzle base 7 which encloses the nozzle insert 3 of the thread withdrawal nozzle on its underside, which faces away from the spinning rotor 13 during operation.
- the nozzle base 7 gives the nozzle holder 4 a high level of stability and protects it from damage.
- the underside of the nozzle base 7 provides a further contact surface for a thermally conductive contact with the open-end spinning device 2, as in particular in FIG Figure 1 recognizable. The heat dissipation of such a thread take-off nozzle to the open-end spinning device 2 is therefore particularly good and overheating on the surface of the nozzle insert 3 can therefore be avoided.
- Figure 4 shows a further embodiment of a thread take-off nozzle 1, which is not fastened magnetically but by means of a threaded pin (not shown) in the open-end spinning device 2.
- the cover element 14 is provided with a threaded bore 10 into which the threaded pin can be inserted and thereby fixes the thread withdrawal nozzle 1 in the cover element 14 via the shaft 6 of the nozzle holder 4.
- a recess 9 can also be provided in the shaft 6, which recess interacts with a tip of the threaded pin.
- the thread draw-off nozzle 1 can hereby be particularly well fixed and, if necessary, can also be positioned in the open-end spinning device 2 with respect to its circumferential direction.
- the present yarn draw-off nozzle 1 does not provide any ring-shaped adhesive surfaces 11a, 11b, but rather an adhesive applied over the entire surface between the two parts, the nozzle holder 4 and the nozzle insert 3. It goes without saying that this thread withdrawal nozzle 1 could also be provided with defined adhesive surfaces 11a, 11b. It is likewise understood that not only notches but also any other surface structures are possible as surface structures 20. Otherwise, the thread withdrawal nozzle 1 corresponds to the two previously described.
- Figure 5 finally shows a further embodiment of a thread withdrawal nozzle 1, in which the nozzle holder 4 does not have a nozzle base 7.
- the thread withdrawal nozzle 1 can, as described above, be fixed in the cover element 14 both with a magnetic attachment and by means of a threaded pin and can furthermore also have adhesive surfaces 11a, 11b.
- Such a thread take-off nozzle 1 without a nozzle base 7 is particularly suitable for a magnetic attachment, since in this case no high forces act on the shaft 6 of the nozzle holder 4.
