Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un produit d'acier du type acier résistant aux intempéries, c'est-à-dire un produit présentant une résistance à la corrosion accrue après avoir été exposé à l'environnement extérieur pendant un temps donné. Selon l'invention, le produit d'acier est défini par une composition constituée (en % en poids) : - de carbone entre 0,03 et 0,2, - de manganèse entre 0,5 et 2, - de cuivre entre 0 et 0,5, - de Ti entre 0 et 0,1, - de Cr entre 0 et 0,5, - de nickel entre 0 et 0,2, - de niobium entre 0 et 0,1, - d'azote entre 0 et 0,01, - de soufre entre 0 et 0,01, de phosphore entre 0 et 0,01, - d'aluminium, plus de 0 et au maximum de 1,5, - de silicium entre 0,25 et 1,5, le reste étant constitué de Fe et d'impuretés accidentelles, et la somme des niveaux d'Al et de Si étant supérieure à environ 0,85 % en poids.
