Claims (12)

  1. Mécanisme de verrouillage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de retenue (18) peut tourner autour d'un axe de rotation d'élément de retenue (DA) sensiblement parallèle à l'axe de pivotement (SA) de la charnière (12) formée par le premier et le second éléments de charnière (20, 22).
  4. Mécanisme de verrouillage selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que l'axe de rotation de l'élément de retenue (DA) est mobile autour de l'axe de pivotement de charnière (SA) de manière à pouvoir être positionné par rapport à un plan orthogonal à un axe de pivotement de charnière (SA) et un axe de rotation d'élément de retenue (DA) dans différentes positions relatives.
  5. Mécanisme de verrouillage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 4, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de retenue (18) comporte une portion de guidage (30) qui est mobile, en particulier glisse, au cours du pivotement du dispositif de recouvrement (10) le long d'un contour extérieur (32, 38) du premier élément de charnière fixe (20).
  6. Mécanisme de verrouillage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 5, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de retenue (18) est pourvu d'une portion d'appui (24) de préférence droite, associée à son contour extérieur, qui coopère en position de blocage avec une portion de support correspondante (26) du premier élément de charnière fixe (20) afin de maintenir le dispositif de recouvrement (10) en position d'ouverture.
  7. Mécanisme de verrouillage selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que la portion de support (26) s'étend inclinée et est orientée de telle manière que lors du pivotement du dispositif de recouvrement (10) dans sa position d'ouverture, l'élément de retenue (18) soit mobile en particulier avec sa portion de guidage (30) et/ou sa portion d'appui (24) le long de la portion de support (26) afin de permettre automatiquement le passage à la position de blocage.
  8. Mécanisme de verrouillage selon la revendication 5 et l'une quelconque des revendications 6 ou 7, caractérisé en ce que le premier élément de charnière fixe (20) comporte une surface de glissement (32) s'étendant sensiblement verticalement, contiguë à la portion de support (26), le long de laquelle la portion de guidage (30) de l'élément de retenue (18) glisse lors du pivotement du dispositif de recouvrement (10).
  9. Mécanisme de verrouillage selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de retenue (18) comporte une portion de préhension (28) qui peut être saisie par un utilisateur afin de libérer la position de blocage du mécanisme de verrouillage (16) lorsque dispositif de recouvrement est ouvert (10).
  10. Mécanisme de verrouillage selon la revendication 9 et l'une quelconque des revendications 6 à 8, caractérisé en ce que la portion de préhension (28) présente un contour tourné vers l'élément de charnière (20) fixe, qui se prolonge par la portion d'appui (24).
  11. Dispositif de recouvrement d'un véhicule, en particulier chariot de manutention, le dispositif de recouvrement (10) étant monté de manière à pouvoir pivoter entre une position d'ouverture et une position de fermeture sur le véhicule (14) et étant prévu pour le recouvrement ou la libération d'un espace contenant un composant tel qu'un moteur ou une batterie d'un véhicule, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un mécanisme de verrouillage (16) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10.
  12. Chariot de manutention caractérisé par un mécanisme de verrouillage (16) selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10, ou un dispositif de recouvrement (10) selon la revendication 11.
