Description

The invention relates to a machine for renewing a track according to the features cited in the preamble of claim 1 and to a method.

Eine derartige Maschine ist durch US 5 357 867 oder US 6 474 241 bekannt.Such a machine is through US 5,357,867 or US 6,474,241 known.

The object of the present invention is now to provide a machine or a method of the generic type with which or in particular a height reduction of the new track is easily feasible.

This object is achieved with a machine or a method of the generic type by the cited in the characterizing part of claim 1 and 5 features.

The invention is based on the consideration that only a part of the ballast to be removed for a track lowering is transported away through the clearing chain. The remaining in the edge zones of the track bedding residual ballast is moved in a simple manner within a very short transport path through the ballast plow only in the shoulder or flank area of the track bedding. This has the advantage that the clearing chain and a subsequent transport path smaller dimensionable-bar are. The said residual ballast can be used with only minimal transport path for ballasting the emerging ends of the newly installed sleepers.

Further advantages of the invention will become apparent from the other claims and the description of the drawings.

In the following the invention will be described with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it:
  • Fig. 1 a side view of a part of a machine for track renewal, with a clearing chain and a ballast plow in working position,
  • Fig. 2 a simplified plan view of the machine, and
  • Fig. 3 to 6 each a schematic cross section through a track bedding.

An in Fig. 1 and 2 machine 1 shown only in a small section is used to renew a track 5 formed from sleepers 2 and rails 3, resting on a track bed 4 as part of a continuous work approach. In this case, a front part of the machine 1 is still driving on the old track 5, while a rear section is already supported on the newly laid track 5.

A - with respect to a working direction 6 - front device 7 serves to accommodate the old sleepers 2, which are stored on suitable transport routes on wagons.

Behind the aforementioned receiving device 7 is an adjustable by drives, endless Räumkette 8 is connected to a machine frame 9. This consists of a provided for receiving gravel 10, normal to a machine longitudinal direction 11 (s. Fig. 2 ) extending transverse chain section 12, two chain channels 13 and a discharge end 14 together.

As in Fig. 2 As can be seen, the transverse chain section 12 is approximately 20% shorter in its length L than a threshold length (SL) of the new sleepers 2. The two chain channels 13 of the clearing chain 8 have a section 15 located approximately midway between the discharge end 14 and the transverse chain section 12 greater distance (D) to each other than in a subsequent to the transverse chain section 12 section. Thus, the clearing chain 8 a total of seven deflection points.

Fig. 4, 5).With regard to the machine longitudinal direction 11, a V-shaped ballast plow 17 is arranged between the transverse chain section 12 and a device 16 for depositing new sleepers 2. A - running normal to the machine longitudinal direction 11 - width B of the ballast plow 17 is greater than the threshold length (SL) of the new sleepers 2 formed (s. Fig. 4, 5 ).

As in Fig. 2 can be seen, the ballast plow 17 and the device 16 - with respect to the machine longitudinal direction 11 - between the Cross chain section 12 and the discharge end 14 of the broaching chain 8 designed to discharge the picked gravel 10 are positioned.

In the following the operation of the machine 1 is described in more detail: As in particular in Fig. 3 it can be seen, only part of the ballast 10 to be removed for the formation of a support surface 18 for the threshold deposit is received by the transverse chain section 12 of the clearing chain 8. This ballast 10 is transported via a transport path 19 (FIG. Fig. 1 ) conveyed to the rear end of the machine to be dropped after possible cleaning on the new thresholds 2 to their ballast.

Fig. 4, 5).As a result of the reduced ballast reception of the clearing chain 8, two strands of strands 20 which are distanced from one another in a machine transverse direction remain displaced or displaced to form the final sleeper bearing surface 18 by the gravel plow 17 directly following in the direction of work 6 in an adjacent shoulder region 21 of the track bed 4 (see FIG. Fig. 4, 5 ).

Fig. 6).As in Fig. 5 As can be seen, the new sleepers 2 can be easily deposited by the device 16 on the sleeper support surface 18 of the track bed 4. In the rear end region of the machine 1 can already stored in the shoulder region 21 Gravel 10 of the two aforementioned gravel strands 20 are moved back to the ballast of sleeper ends 22 of newly laid sleepers 2 (s. Fig. 6 ).

Alternatively, it would of course also - especially in the case of a larger track lowering - possible to form only a provisional bearing surface 18 by the broaching 8. The final and lower bearing surface 18 can be achieved by a correspondingly deeper positioning of the ballast plow 17. In this way, an overload of the clearing chain 8 can be avoided. It is also expedient to carry out a compaction of the track bed 4 by the ballast plow 17 parallel to the grading work.
