Definitions
- the present invention relates to a ski, in particular a carving ski.
- a ski in particular of an alpine ski, is usually constructed in several layers.
- Such a ski has at least one strength-relevant top chord, a strength-relevant bottom chord, and a core arranged between the top and bottom chords.
- a cover layer forming the surface and a running surface with steel edges forming the underside of the ski are usually provided.
- the bending stiffness distribution of a ski is usually generated by the fact that the core has a thickness distribution coordinated therewith between the upper and lower belt in accordance with the specifications for a specific type of ski.
- the core is much stronger in the ski center than in the ski boots and in the ski area. This should provide an optimal pressure distribution during the introduction of force through the system plate-binding ski boot in the active area, d. H. in the area of the ski resting on the snow.
- FR 2 503 570 discloses a ski that features in its structure two integrated viscous-elastic bands at the ski forward and ski end regions.
- DE 101 48 031 A1 discloses a ski having a gliding board body which forms a sliding surface on an underside and on an outer surface has at least one gliding board body component visible on this outer surface, which is a component of the gliding board body or integrated therein.
- FR 2 540 391 also discloses a ski with elements integrated in its structure.
- a ski is provided with a top flange, a bottom flange and a core arranged between upper and lower flange, wherein the ski has at least one section in which the core has a recess adjoining the upper flange, into which a compressible material is inserted the recess extends over the entire width of the ski.
- the compressible material allows the pressure on the upper chord to deflect when deflecting the ski in the at least one section to the neutral fiber of the construction complex.
- the flexural rigidity is significantly reduced with increasing bending stress in this section compared to a conventional ski.
- the present invention is based on the idea that when driving straight through an optimal bending stiffness distribution, the entire active length of the ski should be available, whereas the edge or bending of the ski, the force or the power increase, with or with the ski in particular in the Skivorder Scheme must be pressed, is reduced substantially degressive with the deflection.
- the bending characteristic decreases in the ski according to the invention with increasing force continuously or abruptly.
- the upper belt in the at least one section can successively escape into the compressible material and thus provides less resistance to the deflection of the ski in this section.
- the active area of the ski which is effective on the snow surface, is shortened when flexed, thereby also enabling the average skier to lean in with ease.
- the recess in the at least one section extends over the entire width of the ski or of the core.
- the upper belt can also move over its entire width in the direction of the neutral fiber.
- the recess in a preferred embodiment of the invention has a maximum depth between 1 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 3 mm.
- the recess in the at least one section has dimensions between 5 mm and 150 mm, preferably between 10 mm and 100 mm and particularly preferably between 25 mm and 80 mm.
- the recess may be wedge-shaped (viewed in the longitudinal direction of the ski), for example, with the wedge thickness decreasing towards the ski tip and / or towards the ski end.
- the recess may have a groove, notch and / or rectangular recess.
- the transitions are preferably formed fluently.
- the shape of the recess is not limited to a rectangle, but may also be square, circular, elliptical, triangular or otherwise. In particular, an asymmetrical shape of the recess may also be advantageous.
- the recess (in the longitudinal direction of the ski) is continuously deeper towards the center of the section.
- the recess in the middle of the section has a depth between 1 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 3 mm.
- the ski has at least two sections in which a compressible material is introduced between the upper belt and the core.
- one of the sections is in the front ski half and one of the sections is in the rear ski half.
- the at least two sections are located in the front ski area, preferably at a distance of 10 mm to 50 mm, particularly preferably 20 mm to 40 mm.
- the distance of the (in several sections: first) portion of the ski tip and the blade end is preferably between 200 mm and 250 mm, more preferably between 220 mm and 230 mm.
- the compressible material should preferably be sufficiently compressible that the upper belt can avoid the neutral fiber in the case of conventional loads when turning.
- the compressible material comprises one or a combination of the following materials: rubber, rubber, silicone, flexible polyurethane foams. It is further preferred that the compressible material has a Shore A hardness between 20 and 75 degrees of hardness, preferably between 25 and 40 degrees of hardness.
- the compressible material is gases, especially air. It proves to be particularly advantageous in air that the recess in the core does not have to be closed.
- the core may comprise a continuous, i. have over the entire ski width extending opening.
- the "introduced" compressible material in this case is the ambient air that automatically fills this opening. This also has a beneficial aesthetic effect, since the ski can thus have openings through which one can see through, whereby new design effects can be achieved.
- the elastic properties of alpine skis are determined according to DIN ISO 5902.
- the bending characteristic of the ski shovel according to DIN ISO 5902 decreases with increasing test load as a function of the test load.
- the flexural index of the ski blade between a test load of about 40 N and a test load of about 170 N decreases by 3 N / cm to 8 N / cm, preferably by about 5 N / cm. The decrease is preferably linear, but may also be nonlinear, for example, abrupt or stepped.
- Fig. 1 shows the front part of a preferred embodiment of the ski according to the invention in longitudinal section.
- the ski has an upper flange 1, a lower flange 2 and a core 3 arranged between upper and lower flange. Furthermore, a tread 5 is indicated.
- the ski according to the invention has a section in which the core 3 between the upper flange 1 and the lower flange 2 has a recess 4, in which a compressible material, preferably by non-positive connection, is introduced.
- This section is in Fig. 2 shown enlarged, where in addition the so-called neutral fiber 10 is shown for the bend.
- the core 3 of the ski has a longitudinally substantially rectangular recess 4, in which the compressible material is filled.
- the recesses 4 may also have continuous transitions 8 and 9, as exemplified in the embodiment of FIG Fig. 4 to see.
- the bending behavior of the ski according to the invention can thus be influenced in a controlled manner and optimized in a targeted manner. In particular, it can be achieved in such a way that the bending characteristic values according to DIN ISO 5902 assume the above-mentioned preferred values or show the degressive behavior described.
- Fig. 6 shows a diagram in which the bending characteristic of the ski shovel according to DIN ISO 5902 is shown as a function of the test load for different skis.
- the test ski is clamped at a distance of 0.3 * nominal ski length - 120 mm between a clamping device and a support roller in the bending tester, so that the test load acts 120 mm away from the blade end (see DIN ISO 5902).
- the test ski is then loaded uniformly and bumplessly quasi-statically with the test load F s and measured the associated deflection. For the diagram of Fig. 6 while the test load was continuously increased.
- the bending characteristic value of the ski blade runs essentially constant between a test load of about 40 N and about 180 N.
- the bending characteristic of the ski blade continuously increases between about 35 N / cm between a test load of about 40 N and about 180 N about 29 N / cm from.
- the ski bends increasingly, with the upper belt, as in Fig. 3 to see in the area of compressible material evades. As a result, the bending characteristic decreases with increasing force.
- the course of the bending characteristic test-force curve depends on the compressible and possibly elastic material used: If, for example, the recess is filled with air, the result is a curve as through characteristic curve 11 in FIG Fig. 6 shown.
- the characteristic curve at about 70 N to 80 N an abrupt kink, because with this force, the upper belt buckles spontaneously into the recess. This can have a particularly advantageous effect on the driving behavior of the ski according to the invention.
- the recess in the core may have a different shape and dimensioning or be positioned at a different location of the ski.
- An alternative preferred embodiment is in Fig. 4 shown. Reference has already been made to the continuous or flowing transitions 8 and 9 of the recess 4 provided with the compressible material.
- the recess has a length of 80 mm in the longitudinal direction of the ski and is located 225 mm away from the blade tip.
- the section in the longitudinal direction dimensions between 20 mm and 150 mm, preferably between 50 mm and 100 mm and more preferably between 70 mm and 90 mm.
- the distance of the section from the ski tip or from the blade end is preferably between 200 mm and 250 mm, particularly preferably between 220 mm and 230 mm.
- a plurality of sections are provided, in which a compressible material is introduced between the upper belt and the recessed core or lower belt.
- a compressible material is introduced between the upper belt and the recessed core or lower belt.
- Fig. 5 An example of such an embodiment is in Fig. 5 to see.
- two recesses 4a and 4b are provided, each with a length of 25 mm at a distance of 30 mm.
- the sections in the longitudinal direction dimensions between 5 mm and 60 mm, preferably between 10 mm and 50 mm and more preferably between 20 mm and 30 mm.
- the two sections do not have to be the same length.
- the distance between the two sections is preferably in a range of 10 mm to 50 mm, particularly preferably 20 mm to 40 mm.
- three or more sections may be provided.
- the sections may be differently shaped or of different depths.
Description
- Fig. 1
- einen Längsschnitt durch einen Vorderteil einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Skis;
- Fig. 2

Fig. 2 dargestellten Bereich im gebogenen Zustand; - Fig. 4

- Fig. 6
Fig. 6 dargestellt.
Fig. 5 zu sehen.
