Abstract

Es wird ein Heizkessel für stückeligen Brennstoff, insbesondere für Holzpellets, mit einem Saugzuggebläse, mit einem eine Brennkammer (2) nach unten abschließenden Stufenrost (1) aus Rostelementen (7, 8, 9) und mit einer Austragseinrichtung (11) für Asche beschrieben. Um vorteilhafte Konstruktionsbedingungen zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, dass mit Ausnahme des hinsichtlich der Rostabstufung untersten Rostelementes (9) die Rostelemente (7, 8) unbeweglich in einem Gestell (5) angeordnet sind, das mit Ausnahme des untersten der unbeweglichen Rostelemente (7, 8) unterhalb der unbeweglichen Rostelemente (7, 8) Schieber (14) aufweist, die mittels eines Stelltriebes durch Durchtrittsöffnungen (16) in den Absätzen zwischen den aufeinaderfolgenden Roststufen über die jeweils nachfolgenden Rostelemente (7) verschiebbar sind, dass das unterste Rostelement (9) die Austragseinrichtung (11) für Asche nach oben abschließt und unter das unterste der unbeweglichen Rostelemente (7, 8) bewegbar ist und dass das oberste der Rostelemente (7, 8, 9) mit Druckluft beaufschlagbare Durchtrittslöcher (24) bildet.
