- CFRP carbon fiber reinforced plastic
- CFRP roller bodies are enjoying increasing popularity in paper machines and printing machines due to their low weight and at the same time extreme flexural rigidity.

- ground primer particles are, so to speak, the adhesion points for further treatment by thermal spraying by means of NiCr or NiAl adhesion promoters and subsequent application of the functional layer of ceramic or hard metal.
- Such coatings are only possible if the thermal load of the CFRP roller body is kept correspondingly low by adequate cooling measures, so that no delamination of the carbon fibers in the synthetic resin matrix occurs or the latter is damaged.

Description
DE 41 16 641 A1 bzw. inEP 0 514 640 B1 sowieEP 1 129 787 A undDE 101 27 908 A beschrieben ist.
JP 02 270 954 A - Aus
