Abstract
Κύλινδρος βαθυτυπίας που χρησιμοποιείται στις εκτυπωτικές μηχανές για την μεταφορά του μελανιού στο υλικό συσκευασίας. Ο κύλινδρος αποτελείται από το σώμα (βάση) από αλουμίνιο, ένα στρώμα σκληρού χαλκού (σκληρότητας μεγαλύτερης από 200 HV) που θα χρησιμοποιηθεί για την χάραξη του σχεδίου και ένα στρώμα χρωμίου για την σκλήρυνση του κυλίνδρου και την αντοχή του στην φθορά από την επαφή με το doctor blade. Πλεονέκτημα της μεθόδου αυτής είναι η κατάργηση της χημικής επεξεργασίας για την προετοιμασία της επιφάνειας του κυλίνδρου από αλουμίνιο που παράγει επικίνδυνα απόβλητα, η σημαντική μείωση του βάρους του κυλίνδρου βαθυτυπίας κατά περίπου τα 2/3 σε σχέση με τον κύλινδρο από ατσάλι, η μείωση του κόστους και του χρόνου επεξεργασίας της επιφάνειας και η άριστη πρόσφυση για το στρώμα χαλκού που θα χαραχθεί.
