Definitions

  • the invention relates to a weaving shank that is suitable for weaving machines, in particular for high-speed weaving machines.
  • the heald frames are formed by a substantially rectangular frame in front view, whose upper and lower long longitudinal edges are each formed by a shaft rod. Laterally, the shaft rods are by side supports connected.
  • the shaft rods are often formed by hollow chamber profiles. Litzentragschienen are attached to the shaft rods, which carry the healds.
  • Each heddle has at least one thread eye, through which a warp thread is guided. For shedding, the healds are moved up and down in rapid succession. For large fabric widths, very long shaft rods result, which tend to sag as a function of the weaving speed (number of turns).
  • center connectors are occasionally used to connect the shaft rods to each other except for the side supports.
  • middle connectors are struts that connect the two shaft rods with their ends.
  • the shaft rod consists of sheet metal profiles, between which a filler core, eg made of plastic foam, honeycomb material or a light wood species is arranged.
  • the filling material is glued to the sheet metal profiles.
  • an existing between the sheet metal free space is filled by a rubber body which is firmly adhering to the flat sheet metal profiles, eg glued.
  • an extension of a rail is held, which holds with a widened head a likewise inserted into the space between the two sheet metal profiles so-called sliding element.
  • this screw are used, which hold the here referred to as intermediate strut center connector.
  • a heald with an adjustable center connector known.
  • the heald here is formed by a hollow chamber profile, which may have in the region of the central connector facing the other shaft rod window.
  • a holding body is arranged, which is connected to the side walls of the hollow chamber profile.
  • a heddle shaft with shaft rods which have on their side facing the respective shaft support rail a narrow chamber for receiving a clamping piece.
  • the chamber is accessible to the heald bar through a window.
  • An inserted into the chamber clamping piece here provides an abutment for the middle connector.
  • the power transmission between the central connector and the shaft rod is relatively small-scale.
  • the formation of a longitudinally continuous chamber for the clamping piece requires an increased cost of materials and thus leads to a considerable mass of the shaft rod.
  • each shaft rod is provided on its side facing the shaft support rail with an opening through which a corresponding holding piece arranged in the interior is accessible. This has tapped holes for receiving screws holding the center connector.
  • a weaving shank which comprises a plurality of central connectors.
  • retaining pieces are provided on the points provided for receiving the middle connector, which are inserted into a rectangular hollow chamber of the shaft rod and provided with a through-bore and two threaded blind bores.
  • the through-hole is aligned with two holes which are formed in the upper and lower web of the shaft rod.
  • the middle connector is designed as a round rod, which extends through both the web holes and through the through hole of the holding piece and is screwed to a voltage applied to the outside of the web, having a threaded hole plate.
  • the plate is in turn bolted by bolts to the retaining piece, wherein the bolts pass through corresponding holes in the plate and the upper web of the shaft rod.
  • the web is thus clamped between the plate and the holding piece, wherein the central connector extends freely through the through hole of the holding piece therethrough.
  • Drive means for the shaft rod can be connected to the plate.
  • the force is introduced here on the web, which can lead to crack formation between web and side wall with shaft rods with thin side walls and high dynamic load.
  • the weaving shank according to the invention has a shaft rod which is designed as a hollow-chamber profile body and which has at least one, but preferably two or more, closed hollow chambers which extend longitudinally through the shaft rod.
  • the hollow chambers preferably have a longitudinally invariable cross-section.
  • the cross sections of the individual hollow chambers are preferably approximately the same size. If necessary, they can also be of different sizes, wherein webs provided between the flat side walls are arranged according to rigidity aspects.
  • the hollow chambers preferably have an approximately rectangular cross-section, wherein the hollow support chamber facing the hollow support rail is provided with a window at a location at which a central connector is to be arranged.
  • the invention makes it possible to provide wide heddle shafts with long shaft rods, these healds suitable for high web speeds. There is no separate chamber for clamps or the like required for attachment of center connectors. It can therefore be used very lightweight shaft rods, which are not intended for the construction of heddles with center connectors. It can thus be cut from an endless profile, the corresponding hollow chamber profile body from which normally only shorter shaft rods are made.
  • the intended for receiving the retaining piece hollow chamber is preferably a hollow chamber which receives at the ends of the shaft rod corner connector pieces.
  • a separate hollow chamber for receiving the holding piece is not required.
  • the cross section of the retaining piece fills the cross section of the hollow chamber substantially completely. It is advantageous if the holding piece rests against both webs. In particular, it is considered advantageous if the holding piece touches both sidewalls and both webs. It can thus be supported on all sides in the hollow chamber.
  • the attachment of the retaining piece in the hollow chamber is preferably carried out by an adhesive connection, wherein the low-backlash fit of the retaining piece in the hollow chamber is preferred for not yet cured adhesive. This allows the positioning of the holding piece in the hollow chamber, the filling of adhesive and the further processing or handling of the affected shaft rod without special regard to the possibly not yet reliable adhesive bond.
  • the holding piece bridges the provided for connection of the center connector window in the longitudinal direction of the shaft.
  • the created by the holding window vulnerability of the shaft rod is closed in terms of its bending strength.
  • the stiffness of the shaft rod in the window can even be increased beyond the otherwise existing level.
  • Such means may consist in one or more channels which are formed in the holding piece and / or in the shaft rod and over which the adhesive is introduced from the outside into the desired adhesive joint.
  • Such channels may be formed, for example, by one or more transverse bores of the retaining piece which communicate with one or more adhesive fill openings provided in the side walls of the shaft rod.
  • the holding piece preferably has at least one adhesive bag which can store a certain amount of adhesive in order to supply the forming glue line with adhesive from this supply.
  • the holding piece may be a plastic body or a metal body or a combined plastic metal body.
  • threaded bushings can be embedded in a plastic body, whereby the holding piece is on the one hand light and stiff and on the other hand suitable for robust connection of the center connector by screws.
  • FIG. 1 illustrates a heald 1 having an upper shaft rod 2, a lower shaft rod 3 and side supports 4, 5.
  • the mutually parallel spaced shaft rods 2, 3 form with the side supports 4, 5 a rectangular frame.
  • a heddle support rail 6, 7 is held, between which a large number healds 8 are held.
  • the healds 8 each have at least one thread eye 9, through which a warp thread is guided. This is moved up or down during the up and down movement of the heald 1 for forming sheds.
  • the shaft rods 2, 3 are connected between their side supports by one or more approximately parallel to the side supports 4, 5 extending center connector 11 with each other.
  • Middle connector 11 may be provided in the middle between the side supports 4, 5 and / or additionally at other locations and extend parallel to the side supports 4, 5. They serve to uncontrolled vibrations of the shaft rods 2, 3 when working the loom so far suppress or contain that the strands 8 and other parts of the hive 1 no damage.
  • the shaft rods 2, 3 are formed with each other substantially the same or similar. The following description of the shaft rod 3 therefore applies correspondingly to the shaft rod 2:
  • the shaft rod 3 is shown separately in FIG. 2 and in the cutout. It is essentially a profile body 12, for example in the form of a light metal extruded profile educated. Its cross section is unchanged along its longitudinal direction L.
  • the profile body 12 as can be seen in particular also Figure 3, two hollow chambers 13, 14, of which at least the the Litzentragschiene 7 facing hollow chamber 14 is empty.
  • the hollow chamber 13 may also be empty or, if necessary, also filled with a filling material, such as a lightweight foam or the like. It is also possible to use hollow-chamber profiles with only one hollow chamber or with a plurality of hollow chambers.
  • the hollow chambers 13, 14 preferably have an approximately rectangular cross-section.
  • the hollow chamber 13 is bounded by an outer web 15 and by a web 16 which separates the two hollow chambers 13, 14 from each other.
  • the hollow chamber 14 is limited by the web 16 and arranged parallel to this, the hollow chamber 14 to the heald support rail 7 towards limiting web 17.
  • the webs are oriented parallel to each other and have approximately the same thickness.
  • the profile body 12 side walls 18, 19, which are preferably substantially thin-walled than the webs 15, 16, 17 are formed and which form the flat sides of the profile body 12.
  • the side walls 18, 19 may have an increased thickness, and then at a distance to the respective web 15, 16, 17 in a step or in a bevel transition to a thinner side wall portion.
  • the profile body 12 is a profile that is largely optimized with respect to the flexural rigidity.
  • a wall region 21 extends away from the web 17 (FIG. 3).
  • the wall region 21 carries the heddle support rail 7.
  • a window 22 is formed on the shaft rod 3.
  • the window 22 is formed by an opening which removes the web 17 all the way between the side walls 18 and 19 and a small part of the side wall 19.
  • a holding piece 23 is accessible, which is arranged in the hollow chamber 14.
  • the holding piece 23 can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3.
  • it is an approximately cuboidal element made of metal or plastic.
  • it may be formed of a foamed metal (e.g., aluminum foam) or formed by a solid metal body or plastic body. It has two flat sides 24, 25, which rest against the side walls 18, 19 substantially over the whole area.
  • the holding piece 23 may be provided with steps 28, 29, 31, 32 to accommodate the here thickened portions of the side walls 18, 19.
  • the height of the holding piece 23 is dimensioned so that the end faces 26, 27 abut the webs 16, 17.
  • the length of the holding piece 23 to be measured between its two end faces 33, 34 is preferably greater than that of the length of the window 22, which is likewise to be measured in the longitudinal direction L, so that it is bridged by the holding piece 23.
  • portions 27a, 27b bear against the web 17 on both sides of the window 22.
  • the holding piece 23 has in the region of the window 22 at least one, but preferably two or more threaded bores 35, 36, which are indicated in Figure 2 only by dotted lines. They serve the Recording of mounting screws 37 with which the center connector 11 can be connected to the holding piece 23.
  • This is designed as a rod which carries a foot at both ends and which connects the shaft rods 2, 3 as a strut together.
  • the retaining piece 23 may, in a simplest embodiment, be loose, i. sit with a small clearance in the hollow chamber 14. However, it is preferred to secure the retaining piece 23 in place, for example by adhesive, and additionally to effect reinforcement of the shaft rod 3 weakened by the window 22 in the region of the window 22.
  • adhesive is introduced at least between the flat sides 24, 25 and the respectively adjacent side walls 18, 19, the adhesive extending as far as possible from the end face 33 to the end face 34. In addition, it preferably extends at least over the area of a respective flat side 24, 25 which is enclosed between the respective steps 28, 29, 31, 32 belonging to it.
  • the side wall 18 or 19 can be provided with one or more adhesive filling openings, eg in the form of relatively small holes 38, 39, which serve as a means for introducing adhesive between the respective side wall 18, 19 and the holding piece 23.
  • the holding piece 23 is preferably provided with through holes 41, 42, whose diameter is substantially larger than the diameter of the holes 38, 39. They thus form adhesive bags and one on the other hand, irrespective of the exact axial positioning of the holding piece 23 in each case so far in the area of the holes 38, 39, that they can fill with adhesive.
  • the holding piece 23 may also be connected to the side walls 18, 19 by other fastening techniques that are different from the gluing.
  • the holding piece 23 may be welded to the side walls 18, 19. It is also possible to connect the holding piece 23 by means of rivet or screw connection (s) with the side walls 18, 19.
  • the shaft rods 2, 3 are initially provided at the locations with windows 22, in which center connector 11 are to be provided. If necessary, the Litzentragschienen 6, 7 are attached. In the hollow chamber 14, the required holding pieces 23 are then inserted axially. The play of the cross section of the hollow chamber 14 substantially filling holding pieces 23 is just just so big that the holding pieces 23 can push with not too much effort in their place where they close the respective window 22. Before or at the present time, the holes 38, 39 are then inserted into the side wall 19 and adhesive is filled through these holes 38, 39. This can be done by pressurization to promote penetration of the adhesive into the gap between the flat sides 24, 25 and the sidewalls 18, 19. Depending on the adhesive used, the shaft rod 2, 3 can be heated to. This is especially true when using hot melt adhesives. It can also be adhesives can be used, which pull under capillary action to a certain extent by itself in the glue line.
  • a corner connector 43, 44 ( Figure 1) is inserted into the hollow chamber 13 and / or the hollow chamber 14 and fastened if necessary.
  • the heald 1 can now be mounted. If the heddles 8 are pushed onto the heddle support rails 6, 7, the middle connector or connectors 11 can be screwed between the shaft rods 2, 3.
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 illustrate a modified embodiment of the shaft rod 3, which differs from the embodiment described above by the changed configuration of the retaining piece 23 '.
  • the holding piece 23 ' is formed by a plastic body, in which one or more threaded bushes 45, preferably made of metal for receiving the fastening screws 37 are arranged.
  • the threaded bushings like the corresponding threaded bores 35, 36, have an orientation which is inclined relative to the side walls 18, 19.
  • the bore axes 46 subtend an acute angle with the longitudinal direction of the center connectors 11, which are marked in FIGS. 3 and 4 by a dot-dash line 47 running parallel to the side walls 18, 19. This facilitates access to the fastening screws 37 when loosening and securing the center connector 11. This is necessary for setting up the heald 1, for example, when strands on the heald support rails 6, 7 are to be displaced or replaced beyond the position of the central connector 11.
  • a heald 1 has shaft rods 2, 3, which are formed as profile body 12 with at least one hollow chamber 14.
  • the shaft rods 2, 3 are interconnected by side supports 4, 5 and at least one middle connector 11.
  • holding pieces 23 are arranged in the hollow chambers, which are accessible through window 22.
  • the holding pieces 23 are preferably glued into the hollow chamber 14 and have one or more threaded holes for attaching the central connector 11 by means of screws 37.
