- a security key with a high copy security can be achieved according to EP 0 621 384 B1 of the Applicant, by providing the shaft of the security key with a control element which is designed as a pin and displaceably mounted in the shaft. With an additional locking in the lock cylinder this control can be classified. Such a key can not be copied at a reasonable cost.
- a so-called spiked key with a similar control has become known from EP 0 802 289. Even with this key, a comparatively high copy security is ensured.
- a disadvantage of the said security key are the costs incurred by the installation of the mentioned controls and the additional tumblers in the lock cylinder. These controls can also adversely affect the combinatorics.
- DE 197 45 834 A discloses a reversible key for lock cylinder having two broad side surfaces, each with a set of holes. All tumblers of the lock cylinders are each below the rotor in a cylinder bag. The classification of the tumblers is done with the holes of the downward broadside of the key inserted in the keyway. The two mentioned drilling sets are offset from one another in the longitudinal direction of the key shank. Accordingly, depending on the turning position, the insertion depth of the key is different. The insertion depth is determined by shoulders, which are offset according to the different insertion depth in the longitudinal direction of the key to each other. Since the tumblers do not run radially to the rotor, the pins of the tumbler must be stored against rotation. The corresponding holes must be pushed. In the rest position of the rotor, the key channel is aligned horizontally and accordingly the key must be inserted. A similar key has become known from DE 76 04 852 U.
- GB-A-2 356 016 a security key and a lock cylinder have become known, wherein an additional control surface of the security key is formed by a laterally bent and projecting nose. In the front of the rotor also a recess is incorporated.
