Abstract

Durch die Erfindung wird eine Duschkombination (11) mit einer Vorderfront (12) geschaffen, die wenigstens eine Brausefunktionseinheit (13, 14) aufweist. Die Vorderfront besteht aus Mineralglas und ist lichtdurchlässig. Durch wenigstens eine rückwärtig angeordnete Beleuchtungseinrichtung (29, 41) sowie eventuell vorgesehene Lichtleit- bzw. Lichtverteilelemente (27, 42) kann Licht in die Vorderfront (12) eingekoppelt werden und nach außen abgestrahlt werden. Bevorzugt besteht die Vorderfront (12) aus einem gläsernen Frontschild, dessen Rückseite bis auf Lichtdurchlässe (21) lichtundurchlässig abgedeckt ist. In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung können Funktionselemente, wie beispielsweise eine Haltestange (19) für eine Handbrause (13) oder Ablageflächen (18), ebenso lichtleitend bzw. lichtdurchlässig und durch rückwärtige Lichtquellen (39) beleuchtbar sein.
