Definitions
- the invention relates to a crimping device according to that mentioned in claim 1 Art.
- Crimping pliers already belong to the generally known prior art and automatically actuated crimping devices or crimping machines. Should different crimps are carried out with them, it is so required to replace the respective crimp dies and crimp dies. This is relatively cumbersome and there is a risk of not being crimped matching crimp dies, and vice versa, what is selected entails the risk of incorrect crimping. Matching Crimping dies and crimping dies, on the other hand, have to be adjusted, so that their exchange is relatively time consuming and cumbersome.
- a tool module is already from German Utility Model 299 10 927.5 for optional use in different tools, such as pliers or machines, known.
- This tool module has a lower module block and an upper module block and formed as guide columns Guide means for guiding the lower and upper module block relative to each other.
- the module blocks can be coupled to drive means, whereby the module blocks can also be used to perform crimping. In this case they are stamped accordingly to provide. An exchange of these stamps or dies for implementation other crimping work can then be done in a simple manner by that the entire tool module is replaced by another. Consequently It is guaranteed that crimping dies and crimping dies always match are used and a readjustment of the elements is not necessary is.
- Several tool modules of this type can be provided on site be so that a fitter depending on the type of work to be carried out can choose the right one.
- a disadvantage of the known tool modules is that they are relative heavy and unwieldy and also complicated to set up. Should moreover with them traces on foils by crimping are connected to each other, so these can be connected after the connection and if the overall length is too long, only cumbersome from the area between the crimping die and the crimping die, as they be hindered by the guide columns.
- the object of the invention is to provide a further crimping device create that has a simple structure, a quick exchange permitted by crimping die and crimping die and better connected of conductors by crimping.
- a crimping device contains at least: a plate-shaped one Support frame; an existing guide slot in the support frame to hold a crimp stamp; one across the guide slot running working slot into which the guide slot opens, whereby the working slot extends to an end edge of the support frame; on Crimping die in a diaphragm wall of the working slot; and each on the support frame as well as any means of transport on the crimp stamp, via which the Crimp stamp on the crimp die or is movable away from this.
- the crimping device can be around a pair of pliers or a Crimping machines for driving the carrier frame and crimping stamp added his.
- it can have pliers with two work jaws, one of which in each case uses the carrier frame to carry the carrier frame or takes the crimp stamp with them.
- An exchange of crimp stamps and The crimping die is then easily replaced by exchanging the carrier frame, the assembly containing the crimping die and the crimping die possible.
- the unit also has a simple structure, since it is preferably in one piece trained support frame only as a movable part the crimp stamp has to record.
- FPC flat printed circuit
- the driving means are openings for receiving axles, and the like, or they are as approaches trained so that drive means about these axle pieces or approaches Working jaws of pliers, on the carrier frame or the crimp stamp can work.
- the crimp stamp bears a hold-down device lying to the side of him, one in the area between the crimping die and the crimping die fixed that he presses it against the diaphragm wall of the working slot, in which the crimping die is located.
- the item can for example be formed by two superimposed FPC conductors.
- the corresponding Films are then removed by the before and during the crimping process Hold-down fixes so that the relative position of the parts to be crimped cannot change during the crimping process. To this In this way, clean crimping results or conductor connections are achieved.
- the hold-down device lies seen in the longitudinal direction of the working slot on both sides of the preferably designed as a rectangular column crimp stamp.
- the hold-down is also in the guide slot of the crimping die, whereby a spring device acts between the crimping die and the hold-down device tries the face of the hold-down device facing the crimping die to present the corresponding end edge of the crimping die, in such a way that this end edge of the hold-down device is the end edge of the crimping die surmounted.
- crimp stamp and Hold-down formed a chamber into which a crimping element can be inserted laterally is then pressed by the crimping die towards the crimping die becomes.
- the crimping element is thus positioned and guided within the chamber, when it is moved towards the crimping die, resulting in an improved Crimp quality leads.
- the hold-down device has a lengthwise direction of the guide slot extending elongated hole that an axle piece or Approach of the crimp stamp picks up. This allows the movement of the hold-down device relative to the crimping die in the longitudinal direction of the guide slot control in a simple way.
- the crimp stamp is made from the crimping die moved away, he takes the hold-down with him after a certain time, if the axle piece or the shoulder against the slot in this direction holding down boundary wall is running.
- the carrier frame according to the invention advantageously carries a feed unit for feeding crimping elements to the crimping die for a simpler and to ensure error-free feeding of the crimping elements.
- example meadow can the feed unit II-shaped crimping elements with a Transport the base and two parallel legs in one direction, which is perpendicular to the plane spanned by the base and legs. The legs come to rest so that they face the direction of the crimping die point and seen in the longitudinal direction of the working slot one behind the other lie. Once they are in the hold down and the crimp stamp formed chamber have been introduced, they can by the crimp stamp further moved with their free leg ends in the direction of the crimping die become.
- FPC conductors on top of each other are now below of the crimping die, these are from the free ends of the legs of the Crimped elements penetrated by the crimping die be bent inside and back, so that an electrical perfect connection between the FPC conductors.
- To internal approaches in the area of the base of the crimping elements can be used Serve to improve the electrical contact.
- the hold-down device can preferably surround the crimping die on three sides and thus in the area of the chamber one in the feed direction of the crimping elements Form lying stop to feed the support frame Position crimping elements relative to the crimping die.
- the Stop be designed so that only the legs of the crimping elements against him are feasible. Are connected to each other in a band shape via their base Crimp elements fed to the carrier frame and in their connection area cut off from the remaining crimping elements, the positioning depends the crimp elements in the carrier frame are no longer from the Position of the cut, so that there is no mispositioning of the crimping elements can come within the support frame.
- the feed unit preferably has a support surface for the Crimp elements that extend to the path of the crimping die, the mutually facing edges of the crimping die and the support surface form a cutting device. They can already be done in a simple manner crimped elements inserted into the chamber from the rest and band-shaped Disconnect interconnected crimp elements.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a crimping device according to the Invention with pliers drive.
- a pliers 1 designed in a known manner has an upper work jaw 2 and a lower work jaw 3 on a common axis 4 are pivotable.
- the pivoting of the work jaws 2, 3 takes place through Actuation of handles 5, 6, such that when the handles 5 are moved, 6 are pivoted towards each other around the working jaws 2, 3 about the axis 4, that a pincer mouth 7 formed by it closes, and vice versa.
- handles 5, 6 When the handles 5, 6 are relieved, the jaws 7 open the detailed structure of the pliers 1 itself will not be discussed further here pliers of this type are generally known.
- Each of the work jaws 2, 3 consists of two parallel and at a distance from each other lying sheets 8, 9 or 10, 11. Between these sheets 8, 9 or 10, 11 comes a plate-shaped support frame 12 of a crimping unit 13 to lie. As will be described in more detail, is the crimping unit 13 via bolts 14, 15 on the upper work jaw 2 or lower work jaws 3 held.
- the bolt 14 comes with its ends in openings the sheets 8, 9 to lie and protrude through how are still executed a crimping die and a hold-down device, which are in the support frame 12 are arranged.
- the bolt 15 comes with its ends in openings the sheets 10 and 11 to lie and protrudes through a through hole in the lower area of the support frame 12.
- the plate-shaped support frame 12 is guided largely free of play and is positioned by this. If the working jaws 2, 3 are activated the handles 5, 6 pivoted, the bolts 14, 15 are accordingly moves, which leads to a relative displacement between the crimp stamp and Carrier frame 12 leads and enables a crimping process.
- FIG. 2 shows an enlarged detail from FIG. 1 in the area of the Forceps mouth 7 and with the crimping unit removed from the forceps mouth 7 13th
- the crimping unit 13 has the plate-shaped carrier frame already mentioned 12 on.
