Description

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Dosenöffner gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.
Ein derartiger Dosenöffner ist aus der US-A-4 782 594 bekannt.
Die Anmelderin produziert und vertreibt seit Jahren sehr erfolgreich Dosenöffner zum Oeffnen von herkömmlichen Dosen. Bei älteren Systemen wird der Dosendeckel entlang seines Innenrandes durchschnitten und von der Seitenwand der Dose getrennt. Da der abgetrennte Teil des Deckels scharfkantig ist und zu Verletzungen führen kann sind in den letzten Jahren sogenannte Sicherheitsdosenöffner eingeführt worden, welche den Dosendeckel entlang seines Aussenrandes durchschneiden. Die Verbindung zwischen Dosenwand und Deckel wird gelöst, ohne dass am zu entfernenden Deckel oder am Dosenrand scharfe Kanten zurückbleiben. Da das Schneidrad nicht in Kontakt mit dem Doseninhalt kommt ist einerseits gewährleistet, dass die Schneidmechanik des Oeffners nicht verschmutzt und andererseits wird der Doseninhalt vor Kontamination durch die Schneidmechanik geschützt.
Solche Sicherheitsdosenöffner sind zum Beispiel aus der US-A-4'782'594 und der DE-U-298'02'030 bekannt.
Für beide Schneidprinzipien sind sowohl Zangenmodelle als auch einarmige Modelle bekannt.
Um das Oeffnen von Dosen auch ohne einen Dosenöffner zu ermöglichen werden von der Verpackungsindustrie Dosen angeboten, bei denen der Deckel mittels eines Zug- oder Aufreissringes entlang einer peripheren Sollbruchlinie von der Dose gelöst werden kann. Solche Aufreissdosen sind in der Herstellung aufwendiger und dadurch teurer als die konventionellen Dosen. Die Sollbruchlinien bedingen enge Fertigungstoleranzen und sind daher anfälliger für Fehlfunktionen.
Ist zum Beispiel die Materialstärke entlang der Sollbruchlinie zu hoch, so ist das Oeffnen nur unter Einsatz erheblicher Zugkraft möglich. Gerade älteren oder schwachen Menschen kann das Oeffnen einer solchen Dose Mühe bereiten.
Aus der US-A-5'018'409 ist ein Oeffner für Aufreiss-Dosen bekannt. Am Vorderende dieses Oeffners ist an einer Oberseite eine Kerbe angebracht, die eine Nase zum Einhängen des Aufreissringes definiert. Die Rückenpartie des flächigen Oeffners ist parabolisch geformt und geht in eine schmalere Griffpartie über. Zum Oeffnen einer Aufreiss-Dose wird der randständig am Deckel angebrachte Ring hochgeklappt und dabei die Sollbruchlinie unmittelbar vor dem Ring in bekannter Weise durchbrochen. Nun wird der Ring in die Kerbe am Vorderende des Oeffners eingehängt und durch Druck auf die Griffpartie unter Ausnutzung des Hebelarmes der Dosendeckel von der Dose gelöst. Der Oeffner wird dabei mit seinem parabolischen Rücken über den Dosendeckel abgerollt und gleichzeitig wird der Deckelbereich, der den Aufreissring trägt, angehoben und nach oben und hinten gezogen. Der Oeffner, der zum Beispiel aus einem Stück Blech gestanzt sein kann, ist relativ schmal. Die Auflagefläche des Oeffnerrückens auf dem Dosendeckel ist daher klein und beim Oeffnen einer Dose kann es dadurch sehr leicht zum Verkippen des Oeffners kommen.
Ein weiterer Oeffner für Aufreiss-Dosen ist aus der US-Des. 267'925 bekannt. Auch dieser Oeffner ist aus einem flachen Blechstück gefertigt. Er weist ein hakenförmiges Ende zum Oeffnen der Aufreiss-Dosen sowie ein entgegengesetztes Ende zum Oeffnen von Flaschen mit Kronkorken auf. Der wiederum sehr schmale Oeffner kann ebenfalls leicht beim Einsatz verkippen.
Sollen die beiden oben beschriebenen Oeffner auch zum Oeffnen grösserer Dosen eingesetzt werden können, so müssen sie entsprechend gross dimensioniert werden, was sie wiederum unhandlich und sperrig macht.
Mit beiden Oeffnern können keine herkömmlichen Dosen geöffnet werden.
Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es einen platzsparenden Dosenöffner zur Verfügung zu stellen, der es ermöglicht alle handelsüblichen Dosen sicher und komfortabel zu öffnen und der die oben genannten Nachteile nicht aufweist.
Diese Aufgaben werden durch einen Dosenöffner gemäss den Merkmalen des Anspruches 1 gelöst.
Weitere Ausführungsvarianten ergeben sich aus der Beschreibung und den abhängigen Ansprüchen.
Der erfindungsgemässe Dosenöffner erlaubt es nicht nur, beide gebräuchliche Typen von Dosenverpackungen mit nur einem einzigen Gerät zu öffnen, sondern seine ergonomisch und funktionell vorteilhafte Gestaltung bietet beim Gebrauch ein Höchstmass an Komfort und Sicherheit. Zudem kann der erfindungsgemässe Oeffner sehr platzsparend verstaut werden.
In den Zeichnungen ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt und in der nachfolgenden Beschreibung erläutert. Es zeigt:

In der Zeichnung sind zwei Ausführungsbeispiele des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, die sich im wesentlichen durch die Ausgestaltungsform des Zughakens und den damit verbundenen Anpassungen unterscheiden. Für funktional gleiche Elemente sind folglich gleichbleibende Bezugszahlen verwendet worden. Eine erste Ausführungsform ist in den Figuren 1 und 2 dargestellt, wobei hier auch der Schneidmechanismus 20 dargestellt ist, während in den Figuren 3 bis 5 eine zweite Ausführungsform abgebildet ist, wobei hier der Schneidmechanismus weggelassen worden ist.
Der Oeffner insgesamt ist mit der Bezugszahl 1 bezeichnet. Dieser hat als wesentlichstes Element einen griffförmigen Körper 10. Der griffförmige Körper 10 hat zwei parallele, plane Seitenflächen 11, wie dies in der Ansicht von oben in der Figur 2 ersichtlich ist. Der griffförmige Körper 10 hat eine obere, gewölbte Rückenfläche 12 und eine dieser gegenüberliegende geschweifte Unterfläche 13. Durch die geschweifte Unterfläche 13 bildet sich am einen Ende ein Kopf 15, in dem der Schneidmechanismus 20 untergebracht ist und am anderen Ende ein verdicktes Griffende 16, in dem der Zughaken 30 mindestens teilweise Aufnahme findet. Zwischen dem Kopf 15 und dem verdickten Griffende 16 bildet sich so eine Griffmulde 14 in der geschweiften Unterfläche 13. Im verdickten Griffende 16 ist mittig und parallel zu den beiden Seitenflächen 11 eine Aufnahmenut 17 eingelassen. Diese Aufnahmenut 17 beginnt am verdickten Griffende 16 und läuft zur Griffmulde 14 hin gerichtet geneigt in die geschweifte Unterfläche 13 aus. Durch die Aufnahmenut 17 bilden sich im verdickten Griffende 16 zwei Seitenwangen, welche durch ein Schwenkachsenlager 18 quer durchsetzt sind.
Wie bereits erwähnt befindet sich im verdickten Kopf 15 der insgesamt mit 20 bezeichnete Schneidmechanismus. Dieser besteht aus einem Treibrad 21, welches drehfest auf einer Treibachse 26 sitzt. Die Treibachse verläuft senkrecht zu den planen Seitenflächen 11 und durchsetzt den griffförmigen Körper 10 vollständig. Auf dem dem Treibrad 21 gegenüberliegenden Ende der Treibachse 26 ist ein Drehgriff 22 befestigt, mittels dem das Treibrad 21 betätigbar ist. Senkrecht zur Treibachse 26 verläuft die hier nicht dargestellte Achse des Schneidrades 23. Das Schneidrad 23 liegt während der Betätigung des Schneidmechanismus' aussen auf der Schweisswulst der zu öffnenden Büchse oder Dose auf und durchtrennt dieselbe. Ein Zweipunktauflagebogen 24 liegt dabei auf der Oberkante der Dosenwulst auf. Das Schneidrad 23 schliesst mit dem Zweipunktauflagebogen 24 einen spitzen Winkel auf, um eine nach oben gerichtete Trennkraft zu erzeugen. Solche Schneidmechanismen sind aus den eingangs erwähnten Dokumenten im Detail bekannt.
In der erwähnten Aufnahmenut 17 des griffförmigen Körpers 10 findet wie bereits erwähnt ein schwenkbarer Zughaken 30 teilweise Aufnahme. Der Zughaken 30 ist um eine Schwenkachse 31, welche das bereits erwähnte Schwenkachsenlager 18 durchsetzt, um einen bestimmten Winkel schwenkbar. Im eingeschwenkten Zustand liegt der Zughaken 30 mit seiner Zughakeninnenkante 35 auf den Nutenboden 17' an. Im ausgeschwenkten Zustand kommt das rückseitige, schwenkachsnahe Ende am Nutenboden 17' zur Anlage, wodurch die Schwenkbewegung des Zughakens 30 begrenzt wird.
Der Zughaken 30 ist ein planes, relativ dickes Element. Es kann beispielsweise aus einer Stahlplatte geformt sein oder auch aus einem hochfesten, beispielsweise glasfaserverstärkten Kunststoff gefertigt sein. Der Zughaken 30 wird durch eine Schwenkachse 31 durchsetzt, welche wie bereits erwähnt im Schwenkachsenlager 18 liegt. Der Zughaken 30 hat in der Ausführungsform nach Figur 1' eine gerade verlaufende Zughakeninnenkante 35 und einen konvexen Abwälzrücken 33. An dem der Schwenkachse entfernten Ende weist der Zughaken 30 an der Zughakeninnenkante 35 eine Einhängekerbe 32 auf. In diese Einhängekerbe 32 kommt der Zugring R bei der Betätigung zu liegen. Die Gestalt der Einhängekerbe 32 ist an sich beliebig gestaltbar, doch muss sie so geformt sein, dass der Zugring R während der Betätigung nicht aus der Einhängekerbe 32 hinausrutscht. Dies wird beispielsweise durch eine etwa rechteckige oder trapezförmige Ausnehmung erreicht.
Der Verlauf der Zughakeninnenkante 35 ist an sich nicht direkt von Bedeutung. Statt des hier dargestellten geraden Verlaufes könnte die Innenkante 35 auch nach innen oder aussen gewölbt gestaltet sein, wobei dies jedoch weniger günstig ist. Verläuft die Innenkante 35 nach innen gewölbt, so hat der Zughaken 30 eine mehr sichelförmige Gestalt, wodurch allerdings die Festigkeit des Zughakens selber reduziert wird. Ist jedoch die Innenkante 35 des Zughakens 30 nach aussen gewölbt, so muss entsprechend die Aufnahmenut vertieft werden, beziehungsweise der Nutenboden 17' konkav nach innen gerichtet sein. Dies führt entsprechend dann zu einer Reduzierung des Querschnittes des griffförmigen Körpers 10 in diesem Bereich und entsprechend zu einer gewissen Schwächung.
In der Figur 5 ist eine optimierte Form des Zughakens 30 für sich allein gezeigt. Die Einhängekerbe 32 befindet sich etwa am gegenüberliegenden Ende zum Schwenkachsenlager 34. Im Gegensatz zur Ausführungsform nach den Figuren 1 und 2 ist hier die Zughakeninnenkante 35 leicht geknickt verlaufend dargestellt. Der Abwälzrücken 33 ist jedoch etwa gleich wie in der vorher beschriebenen Lösung gestaltet. In der Nähe der Einhängekerbe 32 weist der Abwälzrücken 33 einen Radius r1 auf, während im Bereich nahe des Schwenkachslagers 34 der Abwälzrücken 33 einen Radius r2 hat. Der Radius r1 ist dabei kleiner als der Radius r2. Hierdurch wird erreicht, dass der Zugring R anfänglich eine mehr nach oben gerichtete Zugkomponente ausübt. Schematisch angedeutet ist die Oeffnungstätigkeit in der Figur 1 strichliniert dargestellt. Der Zugring R liegt in der Einhängekerbe 32 ein und der Aufreissdeckel D wird nach oben gezogen, während der Zughaken 30 sich auf den noch nicht geöffneten Bereich des Deckels der Büchse B beziehungsweise Dose abrollt.
Wie bereits erwähnt weist der Zughaken in der Ausführungsform gemäss Figur 5 eine geknickt verlaufende Zughakeninnenkante 35 auf. Dank der Knickstelle 36 kommt das Schwenkachsenlager 34 praktisch oberhalb der verlängerten Zughakeninnenkante 35 zu liegen. Dies ermöglicht es, eine eindeutige Anlagekante 38 auszubilden, die am Boden einer Anschlagausnehmung 19 im griffförmigen Körper 10 zur Anlage kommt. Dank dieser Ausgestaltung findet eine verbesserte Krafteinleitung vom Zughaken 30 in den griffförmigen Körper 10 statt. Gleichzeitig wird jedoch der Zughaken 30 eher verstärkt, während der Querschnitt des griffförmigen Körpers durch den hier gewinkelten Verlauf des Nutenbodens 10' kaum reduziert wird und weil zugleich die Schwenkachse 31 praktisch in der Verlängerung des Nutenbodens 17' angeordnet ist, wird die Kraft über die Anschlagfläche direkt in den versteiften Bereich eingeleitet, während bei der zuvor beschriebenen Lösung praktisch die gesamte Kraft über das Lager in die erwähnten Seitenwangen seitlich der Aufnahmenut eingeleitet wird.
In den Figuren 3 und 4 wurde der bereits zuvor beschriebene Schneidmechanismus nicht dargestellt. In dem vorzugsweise aus Kunststoff gefertigten griffförmigen Körper 10 sind lediglich das Treibachsenlager 25 und die Aufnahmebohrungen 27 für den Auflagebogen 24 ersichtlich.

Claims (9)

  1. Dosenöffner (1) aus einem griffförmigen Körper (10) mit einem Kopf (15) an einem Ende, in dem ein Schneidmechanismus (20) untergebracht ist zum Abtrennen eines Dosendeckels von einer Dose, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der griffförmige Körper (10) an seinem dem Kopf gegenüberliegenden Ende schwenkbeweglich mit einem Zughaken (30) zum Oeffnen von Aufreissdosen verbunden ist, der an seinem der Schwenkachse (31) abgelegenen Endbereich mit einer Einhängekerbe (32) versehen ist, wobei die Schwenkbewegung des Zughakens durch Anschlagmittel (17', 19) am Körper (10) begrenzt ist.
  2. Dosenöffner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der griffförmige Körper (10) eine Aufnahmenut (17) aufweist, in der der Zughaken (30) im nicht benutzten Zustand einschwenkbar ist, wobei der Nutenboden (17') in dieser Position das Anschlagmittel bildet.
  3. Dosenöffner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der griffförmige Körper (10) ein dem Kopf (15) gegenüberliegendes verdicktes Ende (16) aufweist, so dass sich zwischen dem Kopf und dem verdickten Ende (16) eine Griffmulde (14) bildet.
  4. Dosenöffner nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zughaken (30) eine etwa sichelförmige Gestalt hat, mit einer Innenkante (35) und einem konvex verlaufenden Abwäl zrücken (33) wobei der Krümmungsradius (r1,r2) vom Bereich nahe der Einhängekerbe zum Bereich nahe der Schwenkachse (31) zunehmend ist.
  5. Dosenöffner nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Innenkante (35) in einer gebrochenen Linie verläuft, von der aus um einen Schwenkbogen (37) diese Innenkante in eine Anlagekante (38) übergeht, die in der Gebrauchslage an einer Anschlagausnehmung (19) am griffförmigen Körper (10) ihren Anschlag findet.
  6. Dosenöffner nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zughaken (30) in der Nichtgebrauchslage aus der Aufnahmenut (17) teilweise herausragt.
  7. Dosenöffner nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Aufnahmenutboden (17') der Form der geknickt verlaufenden Innenkante (35) des Zughakens (30) entsprechend verläuft, so dass die gedachte Verlängerung des Nutenbodens (17') durch das Zentrum des Schwenkachslagers (18) verläuft.
  8. Dosenöffner nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Aufnahmenut (17) im Endbereich beim Schwenkachslager (18) in eine Anschlagausnehmung (19) übergeht.
  9. Dosenöffner nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der griffförmige Körper (10) zwei parallele plane Seitenflächen (11) aufweist und die Aufnahmenut mittig und parallel zu den Seitenflächen (11) im Körper (10) geformt ist.
