Definitions
- the invention relates to a textile web, in particular textile machine clothing, the several seen in the transverse direction, extending in the longitudinal direction parallel to each other and has partial webs arranged side by side, whose side edges are connected to one another via connecting means are connected.
- Textile webs of the aforementioned type are used primarily for transporting paper webs through a paper machine used (GB-A-975 750; EP-B-0 464 258; US-A-5 360 656). Seen in the width direction, they are made up of partial webs, whose width is much smaller than the final width the textile web. The partial webs extend in essentially in the longitudinal direction of the textile web, albeit at an angle to it at a small angle. The textile web is formed by one or more textile strips in the longitudinal direction of the textile web as well as helical have been progressively wrapped across it.
- the partial webs can be made of structural threads, for example in the form of a fabric.
- the structural threads can however, also form a carrier on which a non-woven fabric is needled on one or both sides, so that the finished Textile web forms a felt.
- Such felts are special for guiding the paper web in the press section suitable for a paper machine.
- EP-0 947 623 describes a connection of the partial webs proposed that from over the side edges of the partial webs protruding and overlapping interlocking Cross thread sections and one over these cross thread sections laid and welded with this connecting thread consists.
- the establishment of such a connection is not without problems, and it also prepares Difficulty permeability in the area of the side margins to those in the other areas of the partial lanes adapt.
- Difficulty permeability of the textile web over the entire Width is even.
- Another requirement exists in that the connection of the partial webs to each other possible both in the transverse and in the longitudinal direction is firm.
- the invention has for its object the connection the side edges of the partial webs in a textile web type mentioned so that they are easier is to produce, has good strength and still can be designed so that the permeability is not essential of permeability in other areas the textile web deviates.
- the basic idea of the invention is therefore that of the partial webs not delimiting margins - as in the prior art Technology - just training, but meandering with interlocking projections and recesses kind of a gearing and then connecting the neighboring one Partial webs through the connecting means connecting the projections to effect.
- the production of this type the connection is compared to the previously known connection types relatively easy to manufacture and also by machine. It has been shown that both in Very firm connection both lengthways and crossways can be produced without the permeability of the textile web in the margin area significantly different from that in others Areas deviates.
- the connecting means can, for example, as sewing seams be formed, which are preferably parallel to Extend the longitudinal direction of the partial webs, with each connection several parallel seams can also be provided can. Instead of or in combination with such seams can also be provided tapes that the Part of the projections and recesses or better cover it completely and even over it Can go out of range.
- the tapes Contain or consist of hot melt adhesive.
- the hot melt adhesive can after the tapes have been revived activated with heat and pressure. So that permeability not significantly affected in this area the tapes should be permeable be, i.e. have gaps that have sufficient free cross-sectional area guarantee.
- the adhesive tapes can be designed in various ways. So adhesive films with an adhesive coating can be used be, the adhesive coating from a suitable Adhesive can exist, which is why the above heard hot melt adhesive mentioned. Permeability ensure the adhesive films are perforated.
- the tapes but also be formed as a nonwoven fabric, preferably with a proportion of hot melt adhesive fibers.
- Adhesive tapes have the advantage that they are so adapted that the permeability in the questionable Do not significantly affect the area and also in their structure corresponds to that in the other areas.
- the hot melt adhesive fibers can consist entirely of hot melt adhesive, whereby it is then expedient if it is only partially in the Adhesive tape-forming nonwoven are present. You can but also be designed as bicomponent fibers, at which there is a proportion of hot melt adhesive.
- the side edges As for the meandering design of the side edges, different types of courses are possible, for example wave-like or zigzag-like gradients.
- the tabs can also have a trapezoidal or rectangular shape. Other runs of the side edges are also possible.
- the partial webs can be in a manner known per se Have or even consist of carriers, the Carrier the longitudinal and Absorbs lateral forces. If the textile web is formed as a felt should be, for example, as one for the press section a paper machine of certain press felt the carrier must be needled with non-woven fabrics, so that a felt-like surface forms on both sides.
- plastic networks - one or multilayered as well as alone or in combination with the aforementioned Carrier types - be provided, such as in EP-B-0 285 376, EP-A-0 307 182, WO 91/02642 or WO 92/17643.
- These plastic networks have the advantage that they are on the side edges do not fray or flare and therefore the over the Provide protruding fasteners. It is irrelevant whether the individual webs Plastic networks extend in the longitudinal or transverse direction or run diagonally.
- the manufacture of the Plastic networks can be done in the way that in the described above documents.
- a special one economical way of producing such plastic networks consists in the use of extrusion technology, as for example from US-A-4 123 491, US-A-3 917 889 and US-A-3 767 353.
- the width of the protrusions and recesses Range can be according to the respective strength requirements to get voted.
- An area is appropriate up to 50 cm wide, with areas of the order of magnitude from 10 to 20 cm are particularly suitable.
- the device 1 shown in Figure 1 has two spaced Rolls 2, 3, each driven in the same direction are. From a supply roll 4 is a textile strip 5 subtracted. The supply roll 4 is light slanted and is pulled towards the Arrow A moves, i.e. in the transverse direction. This wraps the textile strip spirally on the two Roll up 2, 3 until a desired width is reached.
- the feed in the direction of arrow A is like this dimension that partial webs - exemplarily designated 6 - Form that lie side by side, so that their Side edges abut each other.
- the helical winding of the textile strip 5 can also happen in multiple layers by the supply roll 4 after Reaching the end width is moved back, whereby the drain angle is adjusted accordingly. In detail this can be found in EP-B-0 464 258 and US-A-5 360 656. However, two loops with positive and negative pitch angle can be placed one above the other.
- FIG. 2 shows two partial webs 7 lying next to one another, 8, the side edges 9, 10 and 11, 12 of which are undulating, so that alternating protrusions - exemplary with Designated 13 - and recesses - 14 for example designated - arise.
- the partial webs 7, 8 are so together placed that the projections 13 and recesses 14 mesh with each other, d. H. that the projections 13 each surround in the opposite recesses 14.
- connection of the two partial webs 7, 8 takes place with With the help of three parallel sewing seams, which extend along the partial webs 7, 8 over the projections 13 extend and connect them together.
- the Course of the seams 15, 16, 17 ensures that the two partial webs 7, 8 are firmly connected.
- Figure 4 shows another embodiment of each other adjacent partial webs 19, 20.
- Their side edges 21, 22 run in such a way that trapezoidal projections - exemplary marked with 23 - and recesses - exemplary designated with 24 - arise, whereby the Width of the projections 23 to the respective associated side edges 21, 22 reduced.
- the partial webs 19, 20 are the same as in the exemplary embodiments according to Figures 2 and 3 so together placed that the projections 23 and recesses 24 with each other interlink. Extend over these projections 23 there are two parallel seams 25, 26 in the longitudinal direction of the partial webs 19, 20 run. You put that Connection of the partial webs 19, 20 ago.
- the side edges 29, 30 a have such a course that they are also trapezoidal Projections - designated by way of example with 31 - and Form recesses - designated by way of example at 32 - however, their width differs from the exemplary embodiment 4 to the respective associated side edges 29, 30 increases.
- the partial webs 27, 28 are here also put together so that the projections 31st and cutouts 32 mesh with one another.
- the connection is produced by means of two parallel sewing seams 33, 34, which run approximately centrally over the projections 31 and connect them together.
- connection in the embodiments according to Figures 4 and 5 also by means of an adhesive tape can be made in the manner like this can be seen from Figure 3.
- the present invention is not helical wound textile strips limited.
- the individual partial webs can also consist of individual sections placed side by side so that they are not easy run obliquely, but exactly in the longitudinal direction.
