Definitions

  • the invention relates to a snaffle bit with two lateral Rings and a bracket arranged between these rings, the on the one hand has at least one joint and on the other hand two side sections having, in the end remote from the at least one joint each of the side sections has a bore for the freely movable receptacle one of the rings is formed.
  • Such a snaffle bit is known from the European Patent EP-A-0 17 959.
  • This horse snaffle bit has basically a lot proven.
  • Bits with a hinge with a hinge are shown below also known as “simply broken” bits, bits with a clip with two joints as “double broken” bits. These two designs of the horse snaffle bit of the type mentioned at the beginning Riders found high recognition.
  • the present invention seeks to maintain essential features of the snaffle bit of the type mentioned at the outset educate that it is even cheaper and more advantageous adapted to a horse and fits into a horse's mouth.
  • the horse snaffle bit at the beginning Namely, it has been found that the pressure that by pulling on the reins, not always on the tongue of one Horse works, but sometimes also on the palate. Just a print on the palate is undesirable.
  • the horse snaffle bit according to the invention broken once or twice.
  • a number of Joints three and above are provided, the preferred embodiments lie with the single broken and double broken Denture.
  • inventive Bit as well as the previously known bit of the type mentioned from a high copper content, yet a high mechanical Manufacture strength alloy, as in the German Patent specification DE 43 26 550 C1 is described.
  • the formation of the joints is basically arbitrary. Here can be on the Versions are used as they are mentioned in the introduction European patent specification, and the further prior art described are.
  • the joints have a greater range of motion as joints defined by a fixed joint axis are, and in which the two sections connected by the hinge axis can only move relative to one another on one level.
  • the formation of the joints by rings also creates smooth transitions. Simple manufacture is possible. The care and cleaning is easy because the individual cavities are easily accessible. Furthermore additional materials that make the joint common are not required. Finally, the tongue of the horse, etc. is jammed in this training of the joints not to be feared.
  • the center section has a double broken bit the center section two mutually parallel holes for training of the two joints of the bracket. But it is quite possible the middle section to be provided with two holes that are offset by 90 °.
  • the two axes of the Bores for the rings with normal placement of the bit on a flat surface Surface not parallel to each other they are in one plane, close but an angle of less than 90 ° with the longitudinal axis of the bracket. she run V-shaped to each other.
  • the pressure on the tongue increases when the Reins are tightened. Due to the no longer rectangular training the holes becomes a component of motion when tightening the reins in brought in the teeth, the positive effects, especially one clear improved tongue stress.
  • the two are with a snaffle bit in a horse's mouth
  • the axes of the holes are below the tongue of the horse, i.e. below cut the chin.
  • the desired positive load of the Tongue preferred one.
  • the snaffle bit has two lateral rings 20, 22 and one arranged between these two rings 20, 22 Strap 24.
  • the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 it is double broken, in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 2 to 4 it is simple Broken.
  • the embodiment of Figure 1 has two joints 26, 28, which are located on both sides of a central section 30, during in the second embodiment, the bracket has a single joint 26.
  • the bracket 24 has two side sections 29, 31. In the side sections are holes 32 for the freely movable reception of a ring 20 or 22 trained. The angular position of these holes 32 will be discussed later still received. These two holes 32 at the free end areas of the bracket 24 define a plane that in the illustration according to the figures 1 and 2 coincide with the plane of the sheet. In the illustration According to Figure 3, this plane is perpendicular to the paper plane.
  • the joints 26, 28 are each designed as interlocking eyelets on the inner end areas of the side sections 29, 31 or the double broken Teeth are also formed on the central section 30.
  • This special training the joints 26, 28 allow a limited three-dimensional range of motion of the connected parts.
  • the middle becomes the hinge axis of the permissible joint area understood. It essentially corresponds the spatial position of a central axis through an eyelet.
  • the hinge axis is shown in FIG. 3 with the dot-dash line at 34.
  • a second joint axis 36 arranged here at an angle of 90 ° is shown in dash-dotted lines with the line 36 in Figure 3. Both run in an angle of 45 ° to the plane of the holes 32 and thus in Figure 3 to Level of paper.
  • the free one is shown for better illustration Internal cross section of the hole of each eyelet is relatively large compared to the cross section of the ring that forms the eyelet, so that z. B. also in Longitudinal direction of the side sections 29, 31, the joints 26, a large game to have. This makes the display easier to understand. In practical Execution, however, the free spaces are smaller.
  • the ring cross section fills at least half of the eyelet, preferably more, as well can be seen from Figure 1.
  • the Ring cross-section greater than 70% of the free cross-section of the eyelet, 80 % are also possible, as are 90%.
  • the central section 30 has two parallel to one another running joint bores 38, 40.
  • these hinge holes can also be offset from each other by 90 °.
  • these two holes have a relative short distance from each other, for example between 2 and 3 cm.
  • the entire central section 30 becomes quite short, it is a maximum of 4 cm long, preferably a maximum of 3 cm long.
  • He is clearly opposite the adjacent area of the side sections thickened so that the already mentioned larger cross-sectional dimension reached in the middle of the bracket 24 becomes.
  • the cross-sectional dimension is reduced symmetrically on both sides of the bracket 24 in both embodiments to then increase again in the area of the bore 32 to a thickness which is approximately is comparable to the thickness in the middle.
  • the central section 30 is approximately olive-shaped in FIG. He can also be designed differently, for example as a disc on the side protrude two eyes axially, as a roll, as a more spherical structure etc..
  • the side sections are curved. This can be seen in particular from FIG. 4, there it can be seen that the entire central section 30 is on a slight curve lies.
  • the arch shape is chosen so that the middle of the bracket in the horse's mouth 24 protrudes further down than the remaining parts of the bracket.
  • FIG. Figure 2 shows that the holes 32 the free outer ends of the side portions Push through diagonally, with 42 the axes of the holes 32 are dash-dotted shown. 44 is also a dash-dotted, straight connecting line through the free end areas of the side sections.
  • the dash-dotted Line 46 is a parallel to line 44 and has been drawn in to the To be able to better represent the intersection angle to the axes 42.
  • the horse snaffle bit according to the invention In contrast to the horse snaffle bit according to the prior art the horse snaffle bit according to the invention one side, usually should be in front. It is identified by the arrow 48 in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • the corresponding surfaces are at least one section, for example a side section, marked accordingly, for example with "front”.
  • the bit of the known type is either depending on the construction only with loose or only with adopted reins in a favorable position in the horse's mouth.
  • the improvement is that the new one Bit both with loose and with adopted reins the spatial conditions is evenly adjusted in the horse's mouth.
  • the central section 30 advantageously has two bores 38, 40, the Center lines have a distance of less than 2.5 cm, preferably less than 2 cm.
