  • Alignment can be transferred from a first means of transport to a second means of transport.
  • the invention relates to a method for transporting goods.
  • a device for transporting pieces of goods, in particular pieces of textile separated from a textile web is known.
  • This consists of a first discontinuously operating transport device, by means of which a textile web can be pulled off a goods store and the free end of the web to be separated may be held taut, and a second continuously running transport device, the transport level of which runs parallel to the transport level of the first transport device and the means for holding the isolated piece of textile, the transport direction of the first transport device parallel to Longitudinal direction and the transport direction of the second.
  • Transport device is directed transversely to the longitudinal direction of the web, preferably the first transport device from one.
  • Separating device is arranged, by means of which the textile web can be severed to produce an isolated piece of textile, the separated textile piece after or with a simultaneous separation cut and release from the first
  • Transport means in particular transport slide and the transport tongs, can be displaced from the level of the first transport device into the plane of the second transport device and can be fed to it by a transfer means.
  • the invention is based on the object of a device of the generic type.
  • Type to create which makes it possible in a simple manner to continuously transport individual pieces of goods at a precise distance from one another, possibly also gap-free or almost gap-free, so that they can be fed to a downstream work station, for example in the case of textile pieces of a sewing device, and the performance of the downstream machine or device can be fully used.
  • the second transport means consists essentially of a first belt, belt or chain-like continuous conveyor with at least one conveying element, preferably two conveying elements spaced apart from one another transversely to the conveying direction, each conveying element possibly running parallel to the conveying direction
  • Strip-like support surface is assigned, on which the respective conveying element is supported during the process with the interposition of parts, in particular edge parts, of the item of goods, and that each conveying element is deflected and guided to form a buffer loop in such a way that the deflection region of the conveying element directed counter to the transport direction during circulation of the conveying element in the transport direction while taking the conveying element from a basic position against the transport direction parallel to the Transport direction is adjustable in a takeover position.
