Description
Claims (14)
- Verfahren zum dichten Verbinden eines ersten Randbereichs (67) eines Unterteils (41) eines Verpackungsbehälters (40) aus Blech mit einem zweiten Randbereich (68) eines Verschlußelements (42) aus Blech,
wobei der zweite Randbereich (68) eine mit dem ersten Randbereich (67) zusammenwirkende Ringdichtung (65) trägt,
und wobei sich axial innerhalb der Ringdichtung (65) eine erste Wand (45) des ersten Randbereichs (67) und eine zweite Wand (46) des zweiten Randbereichs (68) gegenüberliegen,
mit folgenden Schritten:(a) Das Verschlußelement (42) wird mit der Ringdichtung (65) auf den ersten Randbereich (67) gelegt,(b) auf den zweiten Randbereich (68) wird mit einem Drückwerkzeug (47) eine axiale Druckkraft (64) bis zur ausreichenden Dichtkompression der Ringdichtung (65) ausgeübt,(c) mit einer radial inneren Seite des zweiten Randbereichs (68) wird ein Expandierwerkzeug (24) in Berührung gebracht, und(d) der erste (67) und der zweite Randbereich (68) werden gemeinsam durch das Expandierwerkzeug (24) expandiert, bis eine formschlüssige Verriegelung erreicht ist,(A) Im Schritt (c) wird bei Relativdrehung von Expandierwerkzeug (24) und Verpackungsbehälter (40) um deren gemeinsame Längsachse (22) wenigstens eine Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) des Expandierwerkzeugs (24) in Berührung mit der radial inneren Seite des zweiten Randbereichs (68) gebracht, und(B) die Expandierung gemäß Schritt (d) geschieht durch Fortsetzung der Relativdrehung und Bewegung der wenigstens einen Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) radial nach außen bis in eine radial äußere Betriebsendstellung (Fig. 6). - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Schritt (d) die wenigstens eine Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) von einer radial inneren Ausgangsstellung (Fig. 5) in die radial äußere Betriebsendstellung (Fig. 6) kontinuierlich bewegt wird. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Schritt (d) in der radial äußeren Betriebsendstellung (Fig. 6) die Relativdrehung noch um einen Drehwinkel (113,112) fortgesetzt wird, wobei die Größe des Drehwinkels wenigstens 360 : n° beträgt, worin n die Anzahl der verwendeten Expandierrollen (16 bis 18) ist. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß am Ende des Schrittes (d) jede Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) in ihre radial innere Ausgangsstellung (Fig. 5) zurückbewegt wird. - Vorrichtung zum dichten Verbinden eines ersten Randbereichs (67) eines Unterteils (41) eines Verpackungsbehälters (40) aus Blech mit einem zweiten Randbereich (68) eines Verschlußelements (42) aus Blech,
wobei der zweite Randbereich (68) eine mit dem ersten Randbereich (67) zusammenwirkende Ringdichtung (65) trägt,
wobei sich axial innerhalb der Ringdichtung (65) eine erste Wand (45) des ersten Randbereichs (67) und eine zweite Wand (46) des zweiten Randbereichs (68) gegenüberliegen,
wobei das Verschlußelement (42) mit der Ringdichtung (65) auf den ersten Randbereich (67) legbar ist,
wobei auf den zweiten Randbereich (68) mit einem Drückwerkzeug (47) eine axiale Druckkraft (64) bis zur ausreichenden Dichtkompression der Ringdichtung (65) ausübbar ist,
wobei mit einer radial inneren Seite des zweiten Randbereichs (68) ein Expandierwerkzeug (24) in Berührung bringbar ist, und
wobei der erste (67) und der zweite Randbereich (68) gemeinsam durch das Expandierwerkzeug (24) expandierbar sind, bis eine formschlüssige Verriegelung erreicht ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Expandierwerkzeug (24) und der Verpackungsbehälter (40) zumindest während eines Expandierzyklus relativ zu einander um ihre gemeinsame Längsachse (22) drehbar sind,
daß das Expandierwerkzeug (24) wenigstens eine Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) aufweist,
und daß während jedes Expandierzyklus jede Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) zwischen einer radial inneren Ausgangsstellung (Fig. 5) und einer radial äußeren Betriebsendstellung (Fig. 6) bewegbar ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, durch jede Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) frei drehbar an einem Schlitten (31 bis 33) gelagert ist,
und daß jeder Schlitten (31 bis 33) in einer Führung (34 bis 36) eines Tellers (15) radial verschiebbar ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder Schlitten (31 bis 33) an einem Ende einer Lasche (55) angelenkt ist,
und daß das andere Ende jeder Lasche (55) an einem parallel zu einer Längsachse (22) des Expandierwerkzeugs (24) bewegbaren Betätigungselement (50) angelenkt ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Betätigungselement (50) durch eine Kolben-Zylinder-Einheit (58,59;90,91) gesteuert linear hin und her antreibbar ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 8,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das gesamte Expandierwerkzeug (24) durch einen Antrieb (14) parallel zu seiner Längsachse (22) gesteuert hin und her bewegbar ist zwischen einer Ruhelage (Fig. 4), in der sich die wenigstens eine Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) außerhalb der Randbereiche (67,68) befindet, und einer Betriebsstellung (Fig. 5 und 6), in der die wenigstens eine Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) in die Randbereiche (67,68) eingetaucht ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 9,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder Schlitten (31 bis 33) mehrere, in radialem Abstand voneinander angeordnete Aufnahmen (28 bis 30) für die zugehörige Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) aufweist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 10,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Längsachse (19 bis 21) jeder Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) parallel zu der Längsachse (22) des Expandierwerkzeugs (24) angeordnet ist. - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine mit dem zweiten Randbereich (68)
in Berührung tretende Fläche (83) jeder Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) kreiszylindrisch ist, - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 11,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine mit dem zweiten Randbereich (68) in Berührung tretende Fläche (83) jeder Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) sich zum Innenraum (81) des Verpackungsbehälters (40) erweiternd kegelstumpfförmig ausgebildet ist (Fig. 9 und 10). - Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 11,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine mit dem zweiten Randbereich (68) in Berührung tretende Fläche (83) jeder Expandierrolle (16 bis 18) eine Umfangsprofilierung (84) aufweist.
