Definitions
- the invention relates to a high-pressure press with a die for receiving an object to be pressed, one from a standby position in the die in a press position retractable stamp and a stamp Power-acting piston of a piston-cylinder unit, the cylinder bore the piston-cylinder unit is formed in a cylinder part which is movable between a working position and a transport position, wherein the cylinder part is fixed in the working position with respect to guide supports and in the transport position together with that recorded in the cylinder bore The piston rests on the punch inserted into the die.
- Radioactive material from nuclear power plants intended for storage first collected in barrel-like containers and temporarily stored. For The storage space required for storage is minimized with radioactive material filled containers pressed together and after Pressing them together again in another storage vessel, which then closed and ultimately disposed of. With this approach it is important that the pressing of the containers and subsequent Loading the pressed containers is going on very quickly Minimize emission of radioactive radiation. Because such compression and Relocation of the radioactive material in a nuclear power plant does not occur daily, but only at certain times and because the necessary devices, especially the pressing device, are very expensive, it should be aimed at such a compression device is at least partially transportable to train. Because of the high required for pressing the containers Pressing force of about 4000 tons, conventional presses, usually take are designed with four guide supports, a large overall height, which only permits transport if the press has been dismantled. This is very time-consuming and expensive.
- a generic high pressure press is known from US 5,323,698.
- the Cylinder part is surrounded by an annular frame, which in turn on upper end of the guide supports is attached.
- the cylinder part In the working position of the high pressure press the cylinder part is screwed to the ring-shaped frame. To the This screw connection is loosened during transport and the cylinder part is lowered, however, the annular frame at the top of the guide posts remains attached.
- the cylinder part is with its for lowering and lifting Axially guided outside on the inside of the annular frame.
- the outside of the die is for axial displacement on the inside of the die Cylinder part guided axially displaceable and also has in its lower Area guide blocks on axially along the guide supports to lead.
- the outer side of the guide blocks slide on one to the inside of the high-pressure press facing peripheral portion of the associated Guide post, but do not include this.
- the stamp of the known high pressure press is on the one hand with its outer peripheral surface axially guided along the inner circumferential surface of the die and to the other the piston with its outer circumference along the inner circumference of the cylinder part guided.
- the object of the present invention is therefore a generic high-pressure press to indicate a high reliability and long-term operation Functional reliability guaranteed.
- This independent storage means that the yoke, the stamp and the die exert transverse forces from these elements, respectively immediately transferred to the guide posts so that the mutual For example, stress due to bending moments is reduced to a minimum.
- This high pressure press can be collapsed without major assembly work because only the fixation of the yoke to the guide supports has to be released, in order to be able to bring the high-pressure press into its transport position in which Support all movable elements of the high-pressure press on their base plate.
- auxiliary devices are provided in this high-pressure press, which are used for the process the die from an operating position back to a loading position are formed, the auxiliary devices can also drive units for the Form yoke around this between the transport position and the working position to proceed. In this way, the auxiliary devices for the procedure of Die used during the pressing operation of a second use, the Merging the high pressure press is used. This saves space and limits the cost of such a high pressure press.
- the high pressure press is within the Piston-cylinder unit at least one further piston-cylinder unit is provided, whose cylinders within the piston of the first piston-cylinder unit is formed and the piston is supported in the yoke, the longitudinal axis the further piston-cylinder unit parallel to the longitudinal axis of the first piston-cylinder unit runs or coincides with this.
- This other piston-cylinder unit which inevitably has a smaller diameter than that the first piston-cylinder unit, which generates the main pressure, serves one Initiate high-speed press forward or advance.
- this further piston-cylinder unit after the introduction of hydraulic fluid for a quick first movement of the larger piston of the first piston-cylinder unit to the point where the other piston-cylinder unit applied force can no longer generate the required pressing force.
- the movement of the piston is already first piston-cylinder unit enlarging cylinder space of the first piston-cylinder unit been filled with hydraulic fluid by suction, so that this hydraulic fluid is now only pressurized via hydraulic pumps must be to the actual pressing process by means of the larger piston initiate the first piston-cylinder unit.
- the pressing process is considerably accelerated, which is an advantage for the processing of radioactive material.
- the high pressure press in its retracted position with the participation of a base plate essentially radiation-proof closes, and in its extended position the feed and the Operation of the high-pressure press allowed, the mobile usability of the High pressure press further increased.
- a gripper device for feeding and discharging of objects to be pressed into or out of the high-pressure press.
- the integration of the gripper device in the unit of the high-pressure press additionally increases the compactness of the overall structure, accelerates and simplifies moving the objects.
- This can preferably with be connected to a suction device for radioactive air, which then is fed to a filter arrangement by the suction device.
- the high pressure press described above is not only for the Use in a compactor for radioactive material containing Containers can be used, but basically also for all other purposes, where it is important to have a high-pressure press on different Places.
- the high-pressure press can also only be used stationary.
- a storage container is provided with a housing, preferably shielded against radioactive radiation, within its transport facilities for radioactive material containing Containers are provided which are used to transport these containers from one closable entrance opening to a closable exit opening are trained.
- This storage container which can also be designed to be mobile can be placed next to the high-pressure press and a plurality of access or exit openings.
- the radioactive to be compressed Containers containing material in a special room of a Nuclear power plants are temporarily stored in the shortest possible way in the Storage containers are transported and are provided there protected against radiation for further processing with the high pressure press.
- the containers are then preferably the containers Gripper device of the outlet opening closest to the high-pressure press move to get from there to the gripping area of the gripper device.
- This temporary storage of the containers to be pressed in the storage container also contributes to the whole process of pressing is accelerated because long transport routes between the existing ones in the power plant Intermediate storage and the high-pressure press are dispensed with because the ones to be compressed Containers directly from the pre-filled storage container of the high-pressure press can be supplied.
- a loading unit for the compacting device has a lifting and transport device on, which has at least one gripper element, which in a essentially tubular shielding jacket is guided vertically, which essentially is non-pendulum connected to the lifting and transport device, and wherein the gripper element for depositing the pressed container into one Storage vessel is insertable.
- This lifting and transport device for example can be formed by a trolley crane, due to their guided gripper element the advantage that this gripper element is proportional hangs rigidly and does not swing when moving. Therefore one from the High pressure press emerging compact directly from the preferably ring-shaped designed gripper element can be detected without swinging the gripper element should be waited for. This will make the whole process accelerated further and the time when radioactive material is unshielded will be further reduced.
- This shielding jacket can also be used with a Suction system to be connected.
- the gripper element is annular and is designed to encompass at least one pressed container like a jacket, the annular shielding jacket above and coaxial to the annular Gripper element is provided. This training also reduces the Release of radioactive radiation during the transport of the compact from the High pressure press for the final storage vessel.
- the compression device is equipped with a pre-press, then comes preferably a pre-press for use with two opposing, Cylinders with mutually movable pre-compression pistons on their Press surface each with a groove-like mold cavity of parabolic Cross-section are provided, the longitudinal extension of which is essentially rectangular to the direction of travel of the two pre-compression pistons, in the retracted Condition of the pre-compression piston the clear width between the Mold cavities, measured in the direction of travel, is less than the width of one each mold cavity in the area of its opening when the pre-compression piston has moved apart.
- this pre-press which is preferably between the storage container and the high-pressure press is arranged, can be pressed Containers, for example barrels, initially in a first radial direction be compressed, reducing their cross section. To change the length to avoid the barrels, they are lidded and pre-pressed supported on the ground. This reduction in cross section allows the under Maintaining this reduced cross-section pressed in the high pressure press Insert the compact into a storage vessel that is of the same type as that original container containing the radioactive material. This will not only simplifies storage, but also standardization of the radioactive waste containers that it enables for the Transport of undensified radioactive material and the transport of radioactive material that has already been compacted using the same means of transport.
- Figure 1 shows the modular structure of a compression device for radioactive Containers containing material.
- Storage containers 2 are a variety of radioactive material containing Containers 5 stocked.
- the storage container 2 can have several entrance openings 20 loaded with the containers 5 and through several exit openings 21 be discharged.
