Definitions
- the invention relates to an eyelet, in particular a rotating disc of a rotary edge rotator in a weaving machine for guiding a leno thread.
- the leno thread in question experiences a two-fold deflection of approximately 90 ° on the way from the leno thread bobbin to the leno edge, namely when it is passed through the eyelet or the guide channel of the lathe disc.
- these deflections can lead to leno thread breaks.
- the rotating disk of which, for example, has loops for leno thread guidance results in the course of the generation of reversing movements of the rotating disk, namely from the movement to carry out a full rotation in one direction in the movement to Execution of a full turn in the other direction so that the leno thread passed through the eyelets is briefly without tension.
- the leno threads are then subjected to buckling at the moment of reversal of movement of the rotating disc, particularly at the entrance edge and exit edge of the eyelets or the yarn feed channels.
- the object of the invention is to improve the leno thread guide in eyelets or thread guide channels of a rotating disc or in elements of a rotary edge rotator which are technically equivalent to the rotating disc in such a way that the risk of breakage of the leno thread guided per eye is reduced. Furthermore, the object of the invention is to take precautions which forcibly guide the leno thread within the eyelet or the thread guide channel approximately in the central region between the leno thread inlet and outlet. Furthermore, it is an object of the invention to improve the wear behavior of the eyelets or thread guide channels.
- the advantage of the solution according to the invention is a gentle leno thread guidance through the eyelets or guide channels of a rotating disk, preferably when processing leno threads, such as glass silk, which are at risk of breakage.
- the solution according to the invention is not only limited to guiding leno threads that are at risk of breakage, but can be used advantageously for all types of leno threads.
- Hard chrome plating of the thread-guiding surfaces of the eyelets or by manufacturing the eyelets from a ceramic material, such as is used, for example, to produce other thread-guiding elements in textile machine construction, can have a positive influence on the wear behavior of eyelets and thread feed-through channels in the rotating disc. It is also advantageous that the eyelets can be integrated as separate elements, so to speak as exchange elements in the rotating disc of a rotary edge rotator. The eyelets are connected to the rotating disc by generally customary measures. In the same way, according to the invention, the thread guide channels that were previously present as pure through holes in the rotating disc can be designed, which can be advantageous in certain applications.
- Figure 1 shows a rotary disc 1 of a rotary edge turner of a weaving machine, as is known for example from DE 44 05 777 C1.
- the technical task, the structural design and the function of a rotary edge turner are shown and described in this document.
- the rotating disc 1 is of low mass here, ie the disc has a corresponding recess 1a.
- a first rotationally symmetrical eyelet 2 is arranged diametrically opposite a second rotationally symmetrical eyelet 2 within the rotating disc 1.
- the center axes 3 of both eyelets 2 are located at a distance h / 2 from the point of intersection of the vertical center line 10 with the horizontal center line 11, corresponding to a lifting height h necessary for the weft thread entry.
- the eyelets are connected to the rotary disk 1 by means of generally known measures.
- FIG. 2 shows the geometric design of the eyelet 2 in connection with the rotating disc 1 according to section AA in FIG. 1.
- the eyelet 2 here has an imaginary conical leno thread inlet 4 and a leno thread outlet 5 which is essentially identical to the design.
- the leno thread inlet 4 and the leno thread outlet 5 are connected to one another by a rotationally symmetrical thread passage 6 located about the central axis 3.
- the edge of the leno thread inlet 4 and that of the outlet 5 are provided with a radius R 1 in order to reduce the leno thread friction resistance and the buckling stress.
- the thread passage 6 is also formed by a projection 9 running around the inside of the eyelet 2, the free end of which forms a radius R 2 .
- a leno thread entering the eyelet 2 in the direction of the arrow 12 accordingly only has contact with the surface of the edge 7, the projection 9 and the edge 8 one after the other.
- the edge 7, 8 and the projection 9 have a radius R 1 or R 2, the size of which should be selected so that, in particular, fragile yarns can be passed over it without any problems.
- the angle ⁇ and ⁇ of the leno thread inlet 4 and outlet 5 should not be less than 90 °, as shown in FIG. 3.

Description
- Figur 1
- die Dreherscheibe mit einer ersten und einer zweiten Öse, zur Führung eines Dreherfadens;
- Figur 2
- eine in die Dreherscheibe eingeordnete Öse gemäß Schnitt A-A in Figur 1;
- Figur 3
- die Öse nach Figur 2 mit identischem kegelförmigen Dreherfadenein- und -auslauf;
- Figur 4
