Abstract

Ein Spinnvliesstoff besteht aus Mono- und Bikomponentenfilamenten und enthält über seinen Querschnittsverlauf unterschiedliche Mengen an Bikomponentenfilamenten. Diese enthalten mindestens zwei nach außen weisende Segmente (2) aus dem Werkstoff der bindenden Komponente. Über den Verlauf des Querschnitts des Spinnvliesstoffs können die Gehalte an Bikomponentenfilamenten 1 bis 100 Gew.-% betragen. Die unterschiedliche Anteile an Bikomponentenfilamenten aufweisenden Querschnittsebenen des Vliesstoffs gehen dabei ohne erkennbare Phasengrenzen ineinander über.
Die Vorrichtung zur Herstellung des Spinnvliesstoffs enthält 1 bis 40 rechteckige Spinndüsenplatten (3) oder runde Spinnscheiben (4); sie befinden sich aufgereiht oder in gestaffelter Anordnung über einem linear bewegten Auffangband (7). Die Spinnlöcher (5), (6) auf den Spinndüsenplatten (3) oder Spinnscheiben (4) sind jeweils der Erzeugung eines Monofilaments oder eines Bikomponentenfilaments aus der Schmelze gewidmet und, in Laufrichtung des Auffangbandes (7) gesehen, in ihrer Gesamtheit entsprechend dem Querschnittsaufbau an unterschiedlichen Filamentarten im Vliesstoff zueinander angeordnet.
