Abstract

Ein Spinnvliesstoff besteht aus zwei Typen (a) und (b) von Kern-/Mantel-Filamenten mit einem bei höherer Temperatur als das Mantelmaterial (2) schmelzenden Kernmaterial (1). Die Typen (a) und (b) unterscheiden sich in den Gewichten der Mantelkomponenten (2): Die Gewichtsverhältnisse, gleiche Filamenttiter vorausgesetzt, der Mantelanteile von Typ (a):Typ (b) liegen bei 1:3 bis 1:10. Über den Verlauf des Querschnitts des Spinnvliesstoffs betragen die Gehalte an Typ-(b)-Filamenten 15 bis 70 Gew.-%. Die unterschiedliche Anteile an Typ-(a)- und Typ -(b)-Filamenten aufweisenden Querschnittsebenen des Vliesstoffs gehen dabei ohne erkennbare Phasengrenzen ineinander über. Die Vorrichtung zur Herstellung des Spinnvliesstoffs enthält 1 bis 40 rechteckige Spinndüsenplatten (3) oder runde Spinnscheiben (4); sie befinden sich aufgereiht oder in gestaffelter Anordnung über einem linear bewegten Auffangband (7). Die Spinnlöcher (5) bzw. (6) auf den Spinndüsenplatten (3) oder Spinnscheiben (4) sind der Erzeugung eines Typ-(a)- bzw. Typ-(b)-Kern-/Mantel-Filaments aus der Schmelze gewidmet und, in Laufrichtung des Auffangbandes (7) gesehen, in ihrer Gesamtheit entsprechend dem Querschnittsaufbau an unterschiedlichen Filamenttypen im Vliesstoff zueinander angeordnet.
