Abstract

Es wird eine Faltmatte (1) mit einer Mehrzahl quer zur Längserstreckung der Faltmatte (1) verlaufender, Scharniere bildender Faltstreifen (2, 3, 4) beschrieben. Die Faltstreifen (2, 3, 4) unterteilen die Faltmatte (1) in mehrere Liegefelder (5, 6, 7, 8). Die Faltstreifen (2, 4) sind im Bereich der Längsachse der Faltmatte (1) von Einschlitzungen (9, 10) der Faltmatte (1) unterbrochen. Die Einschlitzungen (9, 10) erstrecken sich - an jeder Seite ausgehend von dem Faltstreifen (2, 4) - bogenförmig in die benachbarten Liegefelder (6, 7,) und bilden zusammen mit entsprechenden Ausnehmungen (11, 12) im zusammengefalteten Zustand einen Tragegriff.
Die Faltmatte kann aus einer einseitig mit einem Textilgewebe kaschierten Bahn aus geschlossenzelligem, vernetzten Polyethylenschaum durch Stanzen hergestellt werden.
