Abstract

Es wird eine Faltmatte (1) mit einer Mehrzahl quer zur Längserstreckung der Faltmatte (1) verlaufender, Scharniere bildender Faltstreifen (2, 3, 4) beschrieben. Die Faltstreifen (2, 3, 4) unterteilen die Faltmatte (1) in mehrere Liegefelder (5, 6, 7, 8). Die Faltstreifen (2, 4) sind im Bereich der Längsachse der Faltmatte (1) von Einschlitzungen (9, 10) der Faltmatte (1) unterbrochen. Die Einschlitzungen (9, 10) erstrecken sich - an jeder Seite ausgehend von dem Faltstreifen (2, 4) - bogenförmig in die benachbarten Liegefelder (6, 7,) und bilden zusammen mit entsprechenden Ausnehmungen (11, 12) im zusammengefalteten Zustand einen Tragegriff. Description

    Technisches Gebiet
  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Faltmatte mit einer Mehrzahl quer zur Längserstreckung der Faltmatte verlaufender, Scharniere bildender Faltstreifen, die die Faltmatte in mehrere Liegefelder unterteilen.
  • Faltmatten werden in großem Umfang im Sport- und Freizeitsektor verwendet. Im allgemeinen werden sie aus Polyethylen-Schaumstoff mit einer Dicke von ca. 6 bis 15 mm hergestellt. Im Gegensatz zu sogenannten Rollmatten, die beim Transport zusammengerollt werden, lassen sich Faltmatten zu handlichen Paketen zusammenfalten, die dann leicht zu transportieren sind.
    • Stand der Technik
  • Eine gattungsgemäße Faltmatte ist aus der DE 39 24 316 C2 bekannt. Derartige Faltmatten werden insbesondere in Rucksäcken transportiert, weisen jedoch den Nachteil auf, daß sie mangels eines eigenen Griffes nicht leicht zu tragen sind und sich beim Tragen, soweit sie nicht entsprechend verschnürt sind, leicht wieder entfalten können.
    • Aufgabe
  • Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es daher, eine Faltmatte zur Verfügung zu stellen, die diese Nachteile vermeidet.
    • Darstellung der Erfindung
  • Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe durch eine Faltmatte mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1, bevorzugt mit einem oder mehreren der Merkmale der Unteransprüche.
  • Wesentliches Merkmal der vorliegenden Erfindung ist der einstückig mit der Faltmatte verbundene Tragegriff. Im auseinandergefalteten Zustand der Faltmatte ist dieser Tragegriff allerdings kaum bemerkbar, lediglich die Ausnehmung des Tragegriffes bildet entsprechende, i.d.R. längliche Ausstanzungen in dem Faltmatten-Körper.
  • Nach einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung weist die Faltmatte drei Faltstreifen auf, von denen der mittlere als Doppel-Faltstreifen ausgebildet ist. Die drei Faltstreifen teilen die Faltmatte in vier etwa gleich große Liegefelder. Der mittlere Doppel-Faltstreifen weist nach dieser bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung eine Breite auf, die etwa der doppelten Dicke des Faltmatten-Körpers entspricht. Beim Zusammenfalten werden dabei zunächst die äußeren Liegeflächen umgeklappt, anschließend wird der Mattenkörper nochmals mittig entlang des Doppel-Faltstreifens gefaltet, so daß die gefaltete Faltmatte nur noch ein Viertel der Größe der auseinandergefalteten Faltmatte aufweist. Beim Zusammenfalten ragen die durch die Einschlitzungen der Faltmatte zusammen mit den Ausnehmungen gebildeten Tragegriffe automatisch nach außen und kommen aufeinander zu liegen.
  • Um ein beim Tragen störendes gegenseitiges Verschieben der einzelnen Lagen der zusammengefalteten Faltmatte zu verhindern, ist nach einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung vorgesehen, daß der mittlere Doppel-Faltstreifen in seiner Mitte von einer Einschlitzung oder Ausnehmung der Faltmatte unterbrochen ist. Weiterhin weist die Faltmatte nach dieser Ausführungsform im Bereich der Mitte ihrer Stirnseiten jeweils eine nach außen ragende Lasche auf, die etwa eine Breite aufweist, die der Länge der Einschlitzung oder Ausnehmung der Faltmatte in der Mitte des mittleren Doppel-Faltstreifens entspricht. Auf diese Weise wird erreicht, daß beim Zusammenfalten der Faltmatte die nach außen ragenden Laschen durch die Einschlitzung oder Ausnehmung der Faltmatte in der Mitte des mittleren Doppel-Faltstreifens geführt werden, so daß eine seitliche Führung gewährleistet ist und ein seitliches Verrutschen der einzelnen Lagen verhindert wird.
  • Die erfindungsgemäße Faltmatte wird bevorzugt durch Stanzen oder Schneiden aus Bahnen aus thermoplastischem Schaumstoff, insbesondere vernetztem Polyehtylen-Schaumstoff, hergestellt. Die Faltstreifen kommen dabei nach den in der DE 35 24 574 C2 oder DE 39 24 316 C2 beschriebenen Verfahren hergestellt werden. Bevorzugt werden die Scharniere jedoch durch eine aufkaschierte textile Lage gebildet, wobei der Faltmatten-Körper bis auf die textile Lage eingeschlitzt oder eingekerbt ist. Auf diese Weise lassen sich Faltstreifen (Scharniere) herstellen, die einen äußerst geringen Biegeradius aufweisen.
  • Nach einer weiteren bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung verlaufen die Scharnierachsen der Faltstreifen alle im Bereich der gleichen Oberfläche der Faltmatte.
  • Bevorzugt weist die Faltmatte in einem der äußeren Liegefelder, z. B. in der Nähe des Tragegriffes, eine Ausnehmung und in dem anderen äußeren Liegefeld, z. B. in der Nähe des Tragegriffes, eine zu der Ausnehmung korrespondierende Einschlitzung auf. Die Einschlitzung bildet dabei eine Lasche mit verbreitertem Kopf. Die Lasche ist bei zusammengefalteter Faltmatte so durch die Ausnehmung steckbar, daß sie zusammen mit der Ausnehmung einen Verschluß bildet.
  • Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels sowie der Zeichnung näher beschrieben.

    Bester Weg zur Ausführung der Erfindung
  • Für das in der Zeichnung dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird ein Abschnitt von 1826 mm x 600 mm x 13 mm eines Polyethylen-Schaumstoffes einer Rohdichte von 25 kg/m3 verwendet. Der geschlossenzellige, vernetzte Schaumstoff ist einseitig mit einem Frotteegewebe kaschiert. Die äußere Form der Faltmatte 1 einschließlich der beiden Laschen 15, 16 an den Stirnseiten 19, 20 und den abgerundeten Ecken der Liegeflächen 5, 6, 7, 8 wird durch Stanzen erzeugt. Dabei können gleichzeitig auch die Ausnehmungen 11, 12, die für den Verschluß benötigte Ausnehmung 17 sowie die Einschlitzungen 9, 10 und 14 mit eingestanzt werden.
  • Die Faltstreifen 2, 3 und 4 (Fig. 1) bestehen aus Einschlitzungen, die allerdings nur das Schaumstoffmaterial der Faltmatte 1 durchdringen, nicht jedoch die textile Kaschierung. Auf diese Weise bilden die Faltstreifen 2, 3, 4 Scharniere, die einen besonders geringen Biegeradius aufweisen. Alle Scharnierachsen der Faltstreifen 2, 3, 4 liegen in der gleichen Ebene, nämlich der in Fig. 1 sichtbaren Oberflächen der Faltmatte 1.
  • Wie in Fig. 1 weiterhin dargestellt, sind die Faltstreifen 2 und 4 jeweils in ihrer Mitte, d. h. in einem Bereich beiderseits der Längsachse der Faltmatte 1, durch die Einschlitzungen 9 und 10 unterbrochen. Diese Einschlitzungen durchdringen auch die textile Kaschierung der Faltmatte 1. Klappt man die äußeren Liegefelder 5 bzw. 8 zur Mitte, d. h. in Richtung des Faltstreifens 3, spreizen die aus der Ausnehmung 11 bzw. 12 zusammen mit der Einschlitzung 9 bzw. 10 gebildeten Tragegriffe 13 nach außen, so daß sie über die Liegeflächen 5 und 6 bzw. 7 und 8 herausragen.
  • Der mittlere Faltstreifen 3 ist als Doppel-Faltstreifen ausgebildet, d. h., er besteht aus zwei, in einem Abstand von 26 mm parallel nebeneinander verlaufenden Einschnitten des Polyethylenmaterials der Faltmatte 1, wobei diese Einschnitte lediglich den Schaumstoff, nicht jedoch die textile Kaschierung penetrieren.
  • Der Doppel-Faltstreifen 3 ist in seiner Mitte, d. h. im Bereich beiderseits der Längsachse der Faltmatte 1, durch die Einschlitzung 14 unterbrochen. Die Einschlitzung 14 durchdringt auch die textile Kaschierung der Faltmatte 1. Beim weiteren Zusammenfalten der Faltmatte 1, bei dem dann die Liegeflächen 5 und 8 aufeinander zu liegen kommen, wird durch die Einschlitzung 14 eine längliche Nut freigegeben, in die die Laschen 15 und 16 der Liegeflächen 5 bzw. 8 automatisch eingesteckt werden, siehe auch Fig. 2. Auf diese Weise werden die im zusammengefalteten Zustand der Faltmatte 1 innen liegenden Liegeflächen 5 und 8 daran gehindert, seitlich gegenüber den dann außen liegenden Liegeflächen 6 bzw. 7 verschoben zu werden.
  • Um die zusammengefaltete Faltmatte leichter transportieren zu können, ist, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, in der Liegefläche 5 eine Lasche 18 vorgesehen, die durch eine durchgehende Einschlitzung des Faltmatten-Körpers gebildet wird. Diese Lasche ist mit ihrem Laschenfuß einstückig mit dem Faltmatten-Körper verbunden und weist einen gegenüber dem Fuß verbreiterten Kopf auf. Korrespondierend zu der Lasche 18 ist in der Liegefläche 8 die Ausnehmung 17 vorgesehen. Beim Zusammenfalten der Faltmatte 1 kommt die Lasche 18 genau über der Ausnehmung 17 zu liegen, so daß die Lasche 18 durch Umliegen durch die Ausnehmung 17 gesteckt werden kann. So bildet sie zusammen mit der Ausnehmung 17 einen Verschluß, der die zusammengefaltete Faltmatte 1 daran hindert, sich wieder zu entfalten.
  • Die in den Fig. dargestellte Faltmatte 1 weist abgerundete Ecken der einzelnen Liegefelder 5, 6, 7 und 8 auf, um der zusammengefalteten Faltmatte 1 ein gefälligeres, kofferartiges Aussehen zu verleihen.

Claims (7)

  1. Faltmatte (1) mit einer Mehrzahl quer zur Längserstreckung der Faltmatte (1) verlaufender, Scharniere bildender Faltstreifen (2, 3, 4), die die Faltmatte (1) in mehrere Liegefelder (5, 6, 7, 8) unterteilen, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    - daß wenigstens einer der Faltstreifen (2, 4) im Bereich der Längsachse der Faltmatte (1) von einer Einschlitzung (9, 10) der Faltmatte (1) unterbrochen ist,
    -- wobei sich die Einschlitzung (9, 10) - an jeder Seite ausgehend von dem Faltstreifen (2, 4) - bogenförmig in eines der Liegefelder (6, 7,) erstreckt, und
    - daß die Faltmatte (1) im Bereich der Einschlitzung (9, 10) eine Ausnehmung (11, 12) aufweist, die zusammen mit der Einschlitzung (9, 10) einen Tragegriff (13) bildet.
  2. Faltmatte (1) nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch drei Faltstreifen (2, 3, 4), die die Faltmatte (1) in vier etwa gleich große Liegefelder (5, 6, 7, 8) unterteilen, wobei der mittlere Faltstreifen (3) als Doppel-Faltstreifen ausgebildet ist mit einer Breite, die etwa der doppelten Dicke des Faltmattenkörpers entspricht.
  3. Faltmatte (1) nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    - daß der mittlere Doppel-Faltstreifen (3) in seiner Mitte von einer Einschlitzung (14) oder Ausnehmung der Faltmatte (1) unterbrochen ist, und
    - daß die Faltmatte (1) jeweils im Bereich der Mitte ihrer Stirnseiten (19, 20) eine nach außen ragende Lasche (15, 16) aufweist,
    - wobei die nach außen ragenden Laschen (15, 16) eine Breite aufweisen, die etwa der Länge der Einschlitzung (14) oder Ausnehmung der Faltmatte (1) in der Mitte des mittleren Doppel-Faltstreifen (3) entspricht,
    - so daß die nach außen ragenden Laschen (15, 16) beim Zusammenfalten der Faltmatte (1) durch die Einschlitzung (14) oder Ausnehmung der Faltmatte (1) in der Mitte des mittleren Doppel-Faltstreifen (3) geführt werden können.
  4. Faltmatte (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Faltmatte (1)
    - in einem der äußeren Liegefelder (8) eine Ausnehmung (17) und
    - in dem anderen äußeren Liegefeld (5) eine zu der Ausnehmung (17) korrespondierende, eine Lasche (18) mit verbreitertem Kopf bildende Einschlitzung aufweist,
    - wobei die Lasche (18) bei zusammengefalteter Faltmatte (1) so durch die Ausnehmung (17) steckbar ist, daß sie zusammen mit der Ausnehmung (17) einen Verschluß bildet.
  5. Faltmatte (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, gekennzeichnet durch eine ein- oder beidseitige Kaschierung mit einem textilen Material.
  6. Faltmatte (1) nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Faltstreifen (2, 3, 4) durch eine bis auf die Kaschierung gehende Einschlitzung oder Einkerbung des Faltmattenkörpers gebildet werden.
  7. Faltmatte (1) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sämtliche Scharnierachsen der Faltstreifen (2, 3, 4) in einer der Faltmatten-Oberflächen verlaufen.
