Definitions
- the invention relates to a textile covering for cleaning devices according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention relates in particular to a textile covering for a floor cleaning device, preferably a hinged Has foot on which the textile covering is stuck is applied.
- a textile covering of the type mentioned is from DE 31 39 245 C2 known. With this textile covering it is Basic fabric equipped with pile threads on the edge by about 180 ° folded over, the folded edge by sewing on the underneath Base fabric is attached and a stiffener the edge sections formed in this way should result.
- edge sections formed by sewing
- the stiffening of the edge sections formed by sewing has such a low effect that a flat support the textile covering over their edge areas compared to the floor to be cleaned is not guaranteed, and thus the Cleaning effect of those surrounding the base of the cleaning device Marginal sections remains unsatisfactory.
- the edge sections are also so unstable that when using the cleaning device also insufficient cleaning of baseboards is because the edge sections during the cleaning process not effectively placed in the skirting boards can, since the edge sections tend to go down to fold, i.e. at an angle of less than 90 ° the one located below the base of the cleaning device Basic tissue to take as soon as the edge sections in the course the cleaning process in an approximately perpendicular to the rest Base fabric located location are spent.
- the invention has for its object a textile covering of the type mentioned in the introduction, which ensures that also the edge portions protruding over the base of the cleaning device while cleaning a floor firmly on this lying on, i.e. have a cleaning effect, and above in addition, if side baseboards are cleaned, the Have a tendency to move to their starting position, i.e. in the plane move the rest of the base fabric back, creating a high Contact between the side baseboards and the edge sections guarantees the textile covering and the cleaning effect is optimized.
- the invention creates a textile covering for cleaning devices, especially for floor cleaning devices that are dependent of the pile threads used for dry or wet cleaning suitable.
- the edge sections preferably consist of the same Fabric and from the same pile threads as the base fabric with pile threads.
- the edge sections are on the longitudinal and possibly also on the side edges of the roughly rectangular Base fabric attached or sewn, the type of connection between edge sections and the base surface in the form of the base fabric decisive for the desired stiffening of the edge sections leads.
- the textile covering according to the invention can be manufactured easily manufactured by using a base Cutting and the edge sections are prefabricated, after which the edge sections on the longitudinal and / or side edges attached to the base, preferably sewn on. This eliminates the cumbersome folding of the edge strips, the individual parts can be made easier and more convenient Way through the sewing machine, and it can be the required Make number of seams once the edge sections are placed on the base part.
- the finished textile covering no longer recognizable that the same is composed of several individual parts.
- the textile covering is therefore both optically and practically optimized and can be opened using conventional machines create simple and fast way.
- Fig. 1 shows a plan view of a textile covering, the a cleaning device, especially for cleaning floors, Application.
- This textile covering 1 is dashed on a shown foot attached by hand a rod is moved over the surface to be cleaned.
- the Textile covering 1 consists of a base 2 Base fabric and edge sections 3, 4 and 5, 6, being between the longitudinally extending edge sections 3, 4 and lateral edge sections 5, 6 with 8, 9 designated pockets are incorporated.
- the pockets 8, 9 serve to fix the in Fig. 1 dashed foot 11, the side engages under the pockets 8, 9 and circumferentially from the edge sections 3, 4, 5, 6 is surrounded.
- the edge sections 3, 4, 5, 6 thus run circumferentially around the foot 11 and allow it the textile covering to intervene in corners or niches.
- the textile covering according to a preferred embodiment consists of a base 2 and preferably four attached to the base 2 Stripes or edge sections 3, 4, 5, 6.
- the base as well the edge sections each consist of a fabric and in the Fabric-fastened pile threads, especially warp and weft threads.
- the base fabric of the base 2 is designated 13
- the pile threads of base 2 are indicated at 15 and stand from the fabric 13 downwards, as a result when inserted Foot 11 the tissue 13 rests on the lower surface of the foot and the pile threads 15 point in a downward direction.
- the base part 2 is in accordance with a first embodiment its edges over a width of about 3-4 mm at an angle bent for example by 90 °, whereby an edge 2a or 2b arises.
- edge sections 3, 4 is also a correspondingly dimensioned edge 3a, 4a in the same way bent, after which the two edges 2a, 3a and 2b, 4a with each other can be sewn, as this is represented by the seam dash-dotted line 16 or 17 is indicated in Fig. 2.
- the Seams 16, 17 can be created, for example, by chaining, whereby the edges 2a, 2b and 3a, 4a solidify as additional effect is achieved.
- FIG. 2 After making the Seams 16, 17 which are substantially parallel to the not shown Longitudinal axis of the textile covering 1 run the edge sections 3, 4 from the position shown in FIG. 2 by 90 ° folded in the direction of the central axis of the textile covering. Then an additional seam is made, 3 with respect to the left and right edge section is indicated by the reference numerals 18, 19.
- Figure 3 is an exploded view of the arrangement of base 2 and edge strips 3, 4. After completion of the textile covering the edge strips 3, 4 lie relatively close together or above the base 2.
- edges 3a, 2a, on the one hand, and 4a, 2b, on the other hand lie very closely together, form those located between these two edges Pile threads an orientation that is practical seamless transition between the upward-facing edge section 3 and the essentially downward-pointing base part 2 results, i.e. the pile threads extend circumferentially almost continuously from edge section 3 to over the entire Base 2.
- the seams 16, 17 omitted.
- the edge sections 3, 4 in in the manner shown in FIG. 3 with the base 2 as well bent edges 2a, 2b, and it is placed only a single seam 18, 19 along the longitudinal edges of the textile covering performed, and the same arrangement of the Get edge sections 3, 4 relative to the base 2, as in Fig. 3 is shown.
- this is an exact alignment the edges 2a, 2b of the base 2 opposite the edges 3a, 4a the edge sections 3, 4 required before the respective Parts are connected by a seam 18 or 19.
- Pile threads 15 of the base 2 pass practically continuously into the pile threads of the edge sections 3, 4, designated 21, 22 and thereby the textile covering 1 along the lower surface of the base fabric 13 at the side by the by the edges 3a, 2a and 4a, 2b formed edges and also on their upper 3 are equipped with threads or pile threads.
- the edge sections 3, 4 to lie above the base 2 and define an approximately rectangular Recess for receiving the foot 11 of the cleaning device.
- the edges 3a, 2a, 4a, 2b take a comparatively short Width compared to the dimension of the textile covering.
- the edges 3a, 2a and 4a, 2a with the tissue in between used threads result in a kind of bulge, which leads to a relatively high stiffness of the textile covering in the area of leads in Fig. 3 with 24, 25 designated edges.
- edges 3a, 2a and 4a, 2b have threads an effect comparable to a sewn-in stiffener, the stiffening being particularly effective when the edges 3a, 2a and 3b, 14a as described above linked by chain before additional Seams 18, 19 are executed.
- the lateral edge strips 5, 6 can be produced in the same way as described above in connection with FIGS. 2 and 3 is described. According to a further modification the lateral edge sections 5, 6 formed in that of an edge 2a or 2b is bent over the base 2.
- Fig. 4 shows such an arrangement of the base 2 with a bent edge 2a.
- the edge section 3 lying thereon also has a bent-over part Margin 3a.
- a fabric is placed between the edges 2a, 3a or a textile layer 28 inserted with the edge portion 3 and the base 2 firmly connected by a seam 30 as shown in FIG. 4.
- the location or the fabric 28 forms between the edge sections 3, 4 on the one hand and parallel to the lateral edge section 5 and 6 on the other hand 1 with 8 and 9 designated pocket for receiving the foot 11 of the cleaning device.
- the pile threads run practically continuously from the base 2 over into the pile threads of the edge section 3.
- the pile threads, that stand up or down from the edges 2a and 3a, are in contact with the tissue 28 and additionally lead stiffening in the area of the seam 30.
- the textile covering that follows and in connection with 5 and 6 has essentially the same Appearance like the textile covering according to Fig. 1.
- the base 2 consists of a square, preferably rectangular Part with a base fabric 13 and with the base fabric 13 threads protruding downward, preferably pile threads 15.
- an edge 2a is determined that has a predetermined width complies with and for receiving or fastening the edge sections 3, 4 serves. 5 only the edge section 3 is shown.
- the edge 2a of the Base 2 not turned.
- the edge 2 is practically from that Edged edge section 3, the manufacture in the following Way is carried out.
- the edge section 3 has one bent back edge 3a and has a substantially U-shaped Shape.
- the edge section 3, 4 consists of a fabric 20, which is similar or identical to the fabric 13 of the base, and is provided with threads, preferably pile threads 21, as well the fabric 13 of the base 2.
- the pile threads of the edge section 3, 4 are designated by 21.
- the pile threads 21 come along edge 3a in contact with the pile threads 15 along the designated 2a Edge of the base 2, while the opposite of the edge 3a free legs or edge strips of the edge section 3 comes to the plant above the base 2.
- a seam 18 runs through the entire arrangement of edge section 3 shown in FIG. 5 and base 2 in the area of the edges labeled 2a and 3a. While in the embodiment of FIG. 3, the seam 18 through a total of four layers of fabric 13, 20 is passed including those located in the area of the edges 3a, 2a Pile threads 21, 15, two layers each through the base 2 and two layers are formed by the edge section 3 the seam 18 in the described in connection with FIG. 5 Embodiment also through a total of four layers, but with three layers through the edge section 3 and one Location is defined by base 2. It is essential with the 5 that the edge section 3 the outer edge or longitudinal edge of the base 2 "overlaps".
- the threads 21 are thus continuously striving outwards provided, the pile threads 21 over the by the edge 3a defined kink and in this way with the Pile threads 15 in the region of the edge 2a in a compressed manner come to rest, which leads to the lateral stiffening along the Seam 18 leads.
- a major advantage of that described in connection with FIG. 5 Training of a textile covering is that the Base 2 and edge portion 3 as shown in FIG. 5 be prepared and through a single seam 18 as it passes through a sewing machine firmly connected.
- to Increasing the stiffening in the area of the seam 18 can at least a further seam 40 can be provided, which is still in the area of the edge 2a or in Fig. 5 left outside the edge 2a is located and a further compression of the edge section 3 results.
- the edge 2a counterclockwise by 90 ° the base 2 is bent, so that first the edge 2a firmly the section 35 of the edge section 3 is sewn, the respective tissues come into contact with each other while the respective pile threads in opposite directions are arranged before the edge section 3 with its bent Edge 3a in the manner shown in Fig. 5 by another Seam on the base 2 in the area of the edge 2a is attached.
- the side Edge sections 5, 6 formed in a simple manner in that a predetermined edge 2a is bent back under edging of a textile material or fabric 28 before a seam 30 is carried out according to the representation of FIG. 4.
- a textile covering essentially has the advantage that they basically with one seam per edge section 3 or 4th gets along and thus this textile covering after appropriate Pre-assembly of the individual parts in one process per Seam 18 can be made and additional, further external seams 40 etc. further increase the rigidity is achievable.
- the one formed by the edge sections 3 and 4 external bead is relatively flexible, so it is suitable for easy cleaning of corners and edges, the bead also raised by an angle of about 90 ° to the base can be cleaned when baseboards or the like should be. Nevertheless, the seam 18 is so high Rigidity on the outer edge of the base 2 ensures that the Edge section 3, 4 through the foot 11 of the cleaning device Side panels and baseboards can be moved along while maintaining close cleaning contact with the cleaning surfaces.
- the textile covering according to the invention is suitable for use for wet cleaning devices, pug or the like, i.e. also for Dry cleaning equipment.
- the textile covering consists of a basic fabric, on the threads, for example pile threads, pile threads or the like are introduced in conventional technology.
- the kind of Pile threads that are more or less water-absorbent can determine the application of the textile covering for the Wet or dry cleaning.
- the textile covering consists of a square, preferably rectangular blank, which the base 2 according to above description forms.
- the lateral edges of the edge sections 5, 6 are preferably bordered, as shown in Fig. 7 is.
- the Edge sections 5, 6 and the side strips 3, 4 folded, i.e. folded 180 ° around the fold lines 3 ', 4', 5a, 6a and then sewn, as described in connection with Fig. 1 ff is.
- Side strips 3, 4 are preferably carried out in this embodiment only after folding the edge sections 5, 6, the Edge sections 5, 6 around the fold lines 5a, 6a in the direction of the middle of the textile covering, then what the side strips 3, 4 are folded and sewn along the side edges are done.
- the Textile covering consists of a single blank, i.e. the side strips 3, 4 are integral parts of the Base 2 trained. 8 is such designed that he essentially the embodiment of Fig. 7 corresponds, i.e. the side strips 3, 4 have a smaller one Length as the base 2.
- the manufacture of the textile covering takes place after turning over the side strips 3, 4 and Edge sections 5, 6 in the manner described above. Also in this form of training, the edge sections 5, 6 form directly the pockets for receiving the foot 11, so that in both Embodiments according to FIGS. 7 and 8 no additional pocket sections 8, 9 are sewn in.
- FIGS. 7 and 8 Embodiment is a textile covering by cuts formed, in which the side strips 3, 4 of the same length have like the base 2. So in this embodiment the extended side strip sections compared to FIGS. 7 and 8 the side strips 3, 4 together with the edge sections 5, 6 folded or turned over, which means in the area of the pockets for the support foot 11 stiffeners are generated.
