Definitions
- the invention relates to a closure for closing and Reseal a pouch, particularly a pouch for the intake of foods such as bread, confectionery or pasta, Consisting of a strip that wraps around a gathered neck of the Bag can be placed so that one end of the strip with the bag side the other end on the outside is overlapped and fixed in this position.
- the invention further relates to a bag with a such closure is provided.
- Such a known closure consists of a paper or Plastic strips with stiff longitudinal edges Wires are integrated.
- the stiffness or elasticity of the Wires is chosen so that the strip, if this is bent from a flat position, in this bent position remains.
- Such a strip is therefore stiff and inelastic. This makes it possible to close such a strip of a bag.
- Serve for mechanical closing special devices, so-called clip aggregates initially gather a bag a few inches from its open end and depending on the content, U-shaped strips (clips) with relative thin wires - thickness approx. 0.6 mm with light content - or relatively thick wires - thickness approx. 0.8 mm with heavy contents - bend tightly around the gathering.
- Common strip-shaped clips have a length of up to approx. 5 cm and a Width in the range up to about 10 mm.
- the consumer grasps the overlapping end area of the closed clips, for example by attaching the fingernail on extreme end of the overlapping end and bends the fastener to the extent that the clip can be removed from the bag. Resealing is possible accordingly, i.e. of the the clip can be bent by hand to the gathered neck of the bag be put on and then again one end of the strip-shaped Clips around the outside of the other end, overlapping it, be bent. Because of the material properties the stiff wires keep the clip in the respective bending position, is thus fixed in this.
- Bags in the sense of the present invention are any kind of containers, for example bags, made of plastic or understood from paper, in particular for the intake of food, such as bread, confectionery or pasta. At the contents of such bags are not emptied all at once, but little by little.
- a typical example is sliced bread, where several bread slices are packed in one bag.
- the contents are sterilized Microwaves required.
- Such a sterilization with microwaves is made considerably more difficult by the wire clips, because such wire clips field distortions with the consequence of inhomogeneous Effect temperature distribution in the bag goods.
- plastic adhesive strips have about one Thickness of 0.06 mm.
- the plastic adhesive strips are included so wrapped around the gathered neck of the bag that the two The ends of the folded adhesive tape face each other on the adhesive side.
- Adhesive strips must be at right angles to the packaging direction attached to the bags.
- Automatic tape sealing machines can therefore only be with a relatively high Integrate effort into a bag filling machine. These machines are primarily designed as independent machines that either mechanically or electrically with a bag filling machine are positioned synchronized at right angles to the end. The filled bags must therefore be beyond the control of the Bag filling machine, for example, via a conveyor belt to the automatic sealing machine transported, making it a relative high number of malfunctions.
- Such a bag closing adhesive tape is known from document DE-U-86 28 413 known to facilitate opening of the over the sticky ends of the fastener, not Apply an adhesive layer over its entire width is.
- the wire clips mentioned at the beginning with the integrated wires it is possible to feed and create the clips directly in to integrate the bag filling machine, especially because as opposed to the full width with glue provided plastic adhesive tapes no special measures must be taken that no machine parts with the Contact adhesive and get contaminated by it will.
- the wire clips can be pulled off a roll, cut off and shaped into roughly U-shaped clips will. These are placed on the gathered necks of the bags, and by a mechanically simple bending process one end of the wire clip is placed over the other.
- the task with a closure after Preamble of claim 1 solved in that the strip at least in the area of overlap of the ends on one side with a Pressure sensitive adhesive is provided, its bond with the strip is more intimate than with the composite that arises when the outside of the pressure sensitive adhesive on one not with the pressure sensitive adhesive covered area of the strip is pressed, whereby whose adhesive force is set so that the overlapping Ends firmly, but detachably by hand, that the Strips made entirely of a paper or plastic material the material of the strip is selected so that it can be bent into a U-shape in a clip closure unit, and that the material of the strip on the outside so brittle is that after opening the closure once visible there are any remaining changes in the material structure, and that on the side of the strip on which the pressure sensitive adhesive there is adhesive-free areas at those points are present on which clip locking units attack.
- the adhesive force is adjustable, it can be used for the respective application
- Adhesive force is provided that the bag is closed securely remains, but the adhesive bond is easily removable by hand is. Locked securely means that according to a manufacturer Fill the bag with a good and then Closing, the closed closure in the following Treatments such as packing in shipping containers, removal from transport containers, laying out in sales outlets, grabbing for visual inspection by the buyer, does not open.
- a pressure sensitive adhesive is understood to mean an adhesive that remains permanently sticky and tacky and by pressure adheres to a substrate. The adhesive bond can be done without destruction of the bonded substrates can be solved.
- the adhesive force is depending on the type and quantity of the goods to be packed and the type of handling between the manufacturer Filling and sealing the bag and the purchase by the Buyer. If you resort to the example of the packaged bread slices back, it is known that from the Customers in particular the expiry date of the consumption of the bread is researched when buying, such bags then on different positions, not always necessarily at the end area beyond the closure of the gathered neck.
- the holding force is set so that handling is possible without opening the lock.
- the bond between the pressure sensitive adhesive and the material of the Strip is selected so that it is more intimate than the Compound that occurs when the outside of the pressure sensitive adhesive on an area of the surface not covered with the pressure sensitive adhesive Strip is pressed.
- This can be achieved, for example are seen that, across the thickness of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, there is an adhesive force gradient, i.e. the outermost layer of the pressure sensitive adhesive sticks less strongly than the layer that directly on the inside with the material of the strip is in contact. This then ensures that when Do not open parts of the pressure sensitive adhesive itself Detach from the strip and remain at the adhesive bond. This then ensures that such a closure can be opened several times and locked again securely.
- this packaged goods for example, a sterilized goods, for example by opening a bag once through contact with atmospheric oxygen exposed to moisture or accelerated aging the material of the strip, at least on the outside, on which the adhesive lies, can be designed that a single loosening of the fastener streaking or wrinkling caused, or such structural changes causes them to immediately catch the eye.
- the adhesive bond is stronger if a high contact pressure is exerted becomes.
- This adhesive bond is less strong than that Composite on the inner side of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer the corresponding area of the strip. So one can very low gradient of adhesive force over the thickness of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer be sufficient for the previously mentioned functionality with multiple opening and closing, i.e. to prevent pressure sensitive adhesive areas from opening when opening the Closure from the adhesive side of the strip replace.
- composite materials used, where the outer side is designed so sensitive will that even with adhesives with low adhesive strength at least one structural change when opening once becomes clearly visible.
- With more adhesive adhesives can then even be provided that parts of the material peel off and stick to the adhesive layer, which then it is particularly easy to prove that it has been opened at least once the closure is to provide what is from security and Warranty reasons is particularly significant. Paper or Plastic strips on which an adhesive is only available in relative small amounts must be applied, are therefore recyclable.
- the Adjustment of the adhesive force by appropriate formulation of the Adhesive or by UV radiation.
- the variant of UV radiation enables one subsequent networking of the already applied on the strip Pressure sensitive adhesive until the desired adhesive force for the respective application has been achieved.
- the pressure sensitive adhesive is a hot melt adhesive.
- This measure has the advantage that a hot melt adhesive is easy to handle and process because this hot melt adhesive only briefly when applied to the strip must be heated. This opens up a simple one in particular mechanical production of the clip tape. By UV radiation can, as mentioned earlier, the holding force accordingly can be set. Using a hot melt adhesive also has the considerable advantage that it works without solvents must be what in environmental and workplace Is worth striving for.
- the hot melt adhesive is an agent based on acrylate with UV-active copolymers.
- This measure has the advantage that the outer end of the Closure that overlaps the other end when the closure is in place, not adhered to it in the outermost end region is. This makes it easy to use a fingernail or not even using a finger, namely by bending it up Adhesive provided end area, as a kind of pull tab acts to grasp and open the shutter.
- the strip has on one side at least one depression in which the Adhesive is added.
- This measure has the advantage that the adhesive is manufacturing-related can be easily applied to the strip.
- the mass can introduced into the recess in a very simple and precisely aligned manner will.
- this recess can For example, simply created by embossing.
- paper or plastic material with a basis weight of approximately 100 to 400 g / m 2 is used.
- This measure has the advantage of being relatively stiff and also relatively thick strips are available that are adequate Have strength to be used as a closure material serve, due to the rigidity also very easy to process are.
- paper or plastic materials in strips of about 10 to 20 mm Width used.
- This measure has the advantage that in this width with common Paper and plastic materials have sufficient strength a closure against tearing can be achieved. At the same time This breadth also opens up the possibilities already well legible information on the closure strip, such as the packaging date.
- the paper or Plastic strips with an approximately 4 to 14 mm wide and about 40 to 140 ⁇ m deep central longitudinal embossing.
- This measure has the advantage that, without the mechanical Strengthening the strip affect the aforementioned Depression is created to accommodate the adhesive.
- the paper or Plastic strips with several, about 1 to 4 mm wide and about 40 to 140 ⁇ m deep longitudinal embossing.
- This measure has the advantage that by providing several Longitudinal embossing, especially with very wide stripes, one considerable savings in adhesive can be achieved, nevertheless sufficient adhesive strength due to the many strips of adhesive can be achieved.
- the strip is on one or both long sides with several wings Mistake.
- This measure has the advantage that the laterally over the strips projecting wing visible surfaces are formed, for the application of advertising, price, weight or date imprints can be used.
- the thickness of the strip is about 150 to 350 ⁇ , especially about 250 ⁇ .
- This measure has the advantage that in this thickness range on the one hand, the material already has sufficient bending stiffness has what the handling of the closure when opening, putting down and reapplied to the limp, thin adhesive sheets improved, on the other hand the material is not so thick that there is a bending process due to the elasticity Resetting force that could cause that the adhesive bond comes off.
- a shown in Fig. 1 and 2 in its entirety with the Reference number 10 provided closure consists of a flat Strips 12 of paper or plastic material.
- On a Page 33 is the strip 12 with a pressure sensitive adhesive 14 Mistake.
- the pressure sensitive adhesive 14 on the surface applied to the side 33 of the strip 12 and extends in the longitudinal direction continuously from a transverse edge 17 of a first End 16 of the strip 12 to the opposite transverse edge 19 at the opposite end 18 of the strip 12.
- the pressure sensitive adhesive 14 ends at a distance in front of the corresponding one Longitudinal edges 21 and 23, so that thereby adhesive-free Areas 20 and 22 are created.
- a recess 26 in the form of an embossing is, in the recess created by the embossing 26 the pressure sensitive adhesive 14 'is received.
- the layer height of the pressure sensitive adhesive 14 ' can be such that it is the depth the recess 26 not or only insignificantly to the outside towered over, thus approximately flush with the side, adhesive-free Areas.
- the PSAs described above consist of a UV radiation crosslinkable hot melt adhesive based on acrylate with UV-active copolymers, which after application to the strips by corresponding UV radiation 28, as shown in FIG a radiation arrow is indicated, is networked.
- This Crosslinking can adjust the adhesive force of the adhesive be, at the same time an intimate bond 30 between the Outside of the strip 12 and that in this close range applied adhesive 14 reached.
- This network is part of it stronger than the composite that arises when the outside of the Adhesive 14 on a not covered with the adhesive 14 Area of the strip 12 is pressed. It is therefore about seen the thickness of the adhesive layer, an adhesive force gradient in front.
- a 10 mm wide paper strip is made Offset printing paper with 250 g basis weight in the middle with with a 6 mm wide and 100 ⁇ m deep embossing.
- the fat the strip is about 250 ⁇ .
- In through the embossing created depression 26 becomes a closed layer of a Brought UV-crosslinkable hot melt adhesive and then under a UV lamp with UV-A light at a power of 120 W / cm lamp length networked.
- the paper is coated Paper with an outer, glass-like microlayer.
- FIG. 6a another application is shown, which, in In contrast to the layout of Fig. 6, which is approximately round Closure results, leads to a rather flat closure.
- a confectionery bag sealed in this way is then also used controlled by a metal detector, passing through the shutter as such no false signal can result.
- the clasp 10 open i.e. the overlapping end 16 is lifted off, like this is indicated by an arrow in FIG. 9 arise the outside 34 visible changes 36 in the area of In the late 18 and at the same time visible permanent changes arise 37 in the area of the raised end 16. These changes 36 and 37 also occur when trying to open, namely through a clearly visible formation of wrinkles.
- the folding formation sits over the area in which area 16 den End portion 18 of the strip 12 has overlapped, so that by reclosing the closure 10 the previous one Attempting to open cannot be made invisible. Appropriate Changes also take place when the lock is opened, as shown in Fig. 6a.
- a 10 mm wide plastic strip 12 ′′ preferably made of packaging film material, such as polyethylene or polypropylene, with 260 g basis weight lengthwise with two embossments 2 mm wide and 110 ⁇ m deep is spaced apart of about 1 mm.
- the thickness of the strip is between 150 and 350 ⁇ , especially 250 ⁇ . Closed layers of a UV-crosslinkable pressure-sensitive hot-melt adhesive are brought into the depressions 26 'created by the embossments, and then crosslinked with a UV lamp with UV-A light at a power of 120 W / cm lamp length.
- a clip unit 12 cm pieces of 8 cm long pieces are separated from these adhesive-coated plastic strips, formed into a U, around the gathering of a paper bag filled with bread with an overlap of 15 mm, and with a pressure of 6 x 10 5 N / m 2 pressed onto the overlap to form a clip closure.
- a bread bag sealed in this way is then subjected to microwave sterilization. Even a careful attempt to open the closure with your fingernail immediately results in a clearly visible wrinkle formation in the plastic material.
- FIG. 10 of a closure is a strip 46 on formed the same as the strip shown in Fig. 1 12.
- a corresponding adhesive 44 is again applied that free areas 20 'in the area of the lateral longitudinal edges and 22 'are present. Seen in the longitudinal direction, however, ends the adhesive 44 in each case at a distance from the end transverse edges, so that additional adhesive-free areas 46 and 48 arise.
- a strip 46 is corresponding 6 is placed around a bag, it says from the adhesive layer 44 of the outer overlapping end region, depending on the application of the strip 42, an area free of adhesive 46 or 48 before. This area can be done with a fingernail gripped and turned and then, for example, between two Gripped fingers and as a pull tab during an opening process to serve.
- Adhesive layer extends over the entire width.
- end-side adhesive-free Areas 56 and 58 There is also a central adhesive-free one Area 64 available.
- the strip 72 is central, continuous in the longitudinal direction, with provided with an adhesive 74, such as in the exemplary embodiment 1 is the case.
- an adhesive 74 such as in the exemplary embodiment 1 is the case.
- There are numerous on the side Wings 76, 76 ', 76' 'and opposite 78, 78', 78 '' in front of each other of cross-cuts 80 are separated.
