Zeitungen, Zeitschriften und Broschüren, an wenigstens zwei Seitenrändern (26, 27, 28), mit zwei einander nachgeschalteten, um ihre Längsachse (1a, 2a) rotierend antreibbaren Bearbeitungstrommeln (1, 2), von denen jede radiale, zumindest an einer Seite offene Aufnahmeabteile (3, 15) für die zu beschneidenden Erzeugnisse (P) aufweist, die durch Abteilwände (4, 16) voneinander getrennt sind und in denen je eine steuerbare Klemmanordnung (48) zum Festklemmen der Erzeugnisse (P) während des Schneidvorganges angeordnet ist, wobei die eine, erste Bearbeitungstrommel (1) mit horizontaler Drehachse (1a) angeordnet ist und die am Umfang (5) und an wenigstens einer Stirnseite (6, 7) der ersten Bearbeitungstrommel (1) offenen Abteile (3) an dieser offenen Stirnseite (6, 7) jeweils ein mitrotierendes Messerelement aufweisen, das mit einem ersten ortsfest angeordneten Messerelement (11, 12; 13, 14) zum Beschneiden eines Seitenrandes (26, 27) des sich im zugeordneten Abteil (3) befindlichen Erzeugnisses (P) zusammenwirkt, und wobei die Abteile (15) der andern, zweiten Bearbeitungstrommel (2) an einer offenen Seite (17) ebenfalls mit einem mitrotierenden Messerelement (44) versehen sind, das zum Beschneiden einer anderen Seitenkante (28) des sich im zugeordneten Abteil (15) befindlichen Erzeugnissen (P) auch mit einem zweiten ortsfest angeordneten Messerelement (20, 21) zusammenwirkt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite Bearbeitungstrommel (2) mit horizontaler Achse (2a) angeordnet ist und bei dieser zweiten Bearbeitungstrommel (2) die Messerelemente (20, 21) an den Abteilen (15) am Umfang (17) der zweiten Bearbeitungstrommel (2) angeordnet sind und dass zwischen den beiden Bearbeitungstrommeln (1, 2) eine Förderanordnung (29) zum Transportieren der in der einen Bearbeitungstrommel (1 oder 2) beschnittenen Erzeugnisse (P) in die Anteile (3, 15) der anderen Bearbeitungstrommel (2 bzw. 1) angeordnet ist.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Aufnahmeabteile (3) der ersten Bearbeitungstrommel (1) an beiden Stirnseiten (6, 7) offen sind und an jeder dieser Stirnseiten (6, 7) jeweils ein mitrotierendes Messerelement aufweisen und dass benachbart zu jeder Stirnseite (6, 7) der ersten Bearbeitungstrommel (1) ein ortsfestes Messerelement (11, 12; 13, 14) angeordnet ist, von denen jedes mit den vorbeilaufenden Messerelementen in den Aufnahmeabteilen (3) der ersten Bearbeitungstrommel (1) zusammenwirkt.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Förderanordnung (29) an einem umlaufend angetriebenen Zugorgan (30) angeordnete Greifer (31) aufweist, die die in der einen Bearbeitungstrommel (1 oder 2) beschnittenen Erzeugnisse (P) erfassen und zu den Aufnahmeabteilen (15, 3) der anderen Bearbeitungstrommel (2, 1) transportieren, wobei die Förderanordnung (29) vorzugsweise von einer Bearbeitungstrommel (1 oder 2) her angetrieben ist.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das der zweiten Bearbeitungstrommel (2) zugeordnete ortsfeste Messerelement (20, 21) um eine zur Drehachse (2a) dieser Bearbeitungstrommel (2) rechtwinklig verlaufende Achse (46) von einer Wirkstellung in eine Ausserbetriebsstellung schwenkbar ist.
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das ortsfeste Messerelement (20, 21) an einem Messerbalken (49) befestigt ist, der um eine Schwenkachse (46) schwenkbar an einem ortsfesten Messerlager (60) gelagert ist und der sich in Wirkstellung des Messerelementes (20, 21) am der Schwenkachse (46) gegenüberliegenden Ende mit einer drehbar gelagerten Rolle (50) auf einer an der zweiten Bearbeitungstrommel (2) vorgesehenen ringförmigen Lauffläche (51) abstützt.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schneidkante (20') des der zweiten Bearbeitungstrommel (2) zugeordneten Messerelementes (20, 21) gegenüber den Schneidkanten (44a) der Messerelemente (44) in den Aufnahmeabteilen (15) schräggestellt ist, so dass diese Schneidkanten (20', 44a) der zusammenwirkenden Messerelemente (20, 21; 44) miteinander einen spitzen Winkel (α) bilden.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die in den Aufnahmeabteilen (15) der zweiten Bearbeitungstrommel (2) angeordneten Messerelemente (44) in Richtung ins Innere der Aufnahmeabteile (15) verschiebbar gelagert sind und dass auf diese Messerelemente (44) einwirkende Steuermittel (52, 52a, 53) vorhanden sind, um bei drehender zweiter Bearbeitungstrommel (2) im Bereich des ortsfesten Messerelementes (20, 21) die Schneidkante (44a) der Messerelemente (44) entlang einer ebenen Bewegungsbahn (55) zu führen.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 7, gekennzeichnet durch einen den beiden Bearbeitungstrommeln (1, 2) vorgeschalteten Zuförderer (22) zum Zubringen der zu beschneidenden Erzeugnisse (P) zur einen Bearbeitungstrommel (1 oder 2) und einen der andern Bearbeitungstrommel (2 oder 1) nachgeschalteten Wegförderer (34) zum Wegführen der fertig beschnittenen Erzeugnisse (P).
- Einrichtung nach Anspruch 8, gekennzeichnet durch eine dem Zuförderer (22) vorgeschaltete Transportanordnung (40), die die Erzeugnisse (P) heranführt und an den Zuförderer (22) übergibt und nachher die fertig beschnittenen Erzeugnisse (P) vom Wegförderer (34) übernimmt und zu einer Weiterverarbeitungsstelle transportiert.
- Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 9 zum Beschneiden von mehrblättrigen, gefalteten oder gehefteten Erzeugnissen (P), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Erzeugnisse (P) in der ersten Bearbeitungstrommel (1) an den beiden zur Falzkante (25) bzw. gehefteten Kante rechtwinkligen Seitenrändern (26, 27) und in der zweiten Bearbeitungstrommel (2) am zur Falzkante (25) bzw. gehefteten Kante parallelen Seitenkante (28) beschnitten werden.
