Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 - 3, characterized in that the stationary cutter element (20, 21) assigned to the second processing drum (2) can be pivoted, about an axis (46) running at right angles with respect to the axis of rotation (2a) of said processing drum (2), from an operating position into an out-of-operation position.
  5. Apparatus according to Claim 4, characterized in that the stationary cutter element (20, 21) is fastened on a cutter bar (49) which is mounted on a stationary cutter bearing (60), such that it can be pivoted about a pivot axis (46), and, in the operating position of the cutter element (20, 21), is supported at the end located opposite the pivot axis (46), by means of a rotatably mounted roller (50), on an annular running surface (51) provided on the second processing drum (2).
  6. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 - 5, characterized in that the cutting edge (20') of the cutter element (20, 21) assigned to the second processing drum (2) is set obliquely with respect to the cutting edges (44a) of the cutter elements (44) in the receiving compartments (15), with the result that said cutting edges (20', 44a) of the interacting cutter elements (20, 21; 44) form an acute angle (α) with one another.
  7. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 - 6, characterized in that the cutter elements (44) arranged in the receiving compartments (15) of the second processing drum (2) are mounted such that they can be displaced in the direction of the interior of the receiving compartments (15), and in that control means (52, 52a, 53) acting on said cutter elements (44) are provided in order, when the second processing drum (2) is rotating, to guide the cutting edge (44a) of the cutter elements (44) along a planar movement path (55) in the region of the stationary cutter element (20, 21).
  8. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 - 7, characterized by a feed conveyor (22) which is arranged upstream of the two processing drums (1, 2) and is intended for feeding the products (P) to be trimmed to one processing drum (1 or 2), and by a removal conveyor (34) which is arranged downstream of the other processing drum (2 or 1) and is intended for guiding away the ready-trimmed products (P).
  9. Apparatus according to Claim 8, characterized by a transporting arrangement (40) which is arranged upstream of the feed conveyor (22), advances the products (P) and transfers them to the feed conveyor (22) and, thereafter, receives the ready-trimmed products (P) from the removal conveyor (34) and transports them to a further-processing location.
  10. Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 - 9 for trimming multiple-sheet, folded or bound products (P), characterized in that, in the first processing drum (1), the products (P) are trimmed on the two side borders (26, 27) at right angles to the folding edge (25) or bound edge and, in the second processing drum (2), the products (P) are trimmed on the side edge (28) parallel to the folding edge (25) or bound edge.
