Definitions

  • the invention relates to a repeater pipette according to the Preamble of claim 1.
  • a repeating pipette of the above type is known from DE 29 26 691 C2 known.
  • the syringe holder is one U-shaped groove in a pipette housing, into which a syringe flange inserted through a side opening in the housing can be.
  • the syringe flange is in the holder loaded by a compression spring in the direction of the discharge opening.
  • the syringe plunger has a cylindrical actuation section, by means of a clamping device in the receiving body is fixable.
  • the piston return mechanism is designed as a lever of the receiving body, the protrudes through a side housing slot.
  • the piston feed device is a rack and pawl device the rack connected to the receiving body and the Pawl pivotable on a reciprocating drive lever is stored.
  • the increment setting device is coupled with a rotary knob Tongue executed, the teeth depending on the position of the Rotary knob more or less covered. By setting the knob is the section of the pawl movement adjustable by engaging the rack and takes the piston. This is what is delivered by the syringe Liquid volume adjustable using the rotary knob.
  • the syringe sits with a certain amount in its recordings Game.
  • the sliding devices are with one Game affected.
  • the piston after the Pull out with constant step size setting in a first advance by a distance other than moved in the following steps.
  • the first step The amount of liquid ejected thus gives way considerably from the liquid discharge every subsequent one Step off. Therefore, for an exact dosage one discards in practice the volume of liquid expelled during the first step. As a result, sample liquid is lost. You can counter this by being proportionate small first step size set and for the following ones Steps changed the width to the required value becomes. However, this requires increased handling effort and is prone to errors.
  • the object of the invention is a repeater pipette of the type mentioned is available to provide that with little handling accurate dosing with reduced sample fluid loss enables.
  • a repeating pipette there is a constant step device provided that regardless of the Setting the step size using the step size setting device the width of the first step the retraction of the receiving body to a constant Value.
  • the Pistons are therefore independent of the setting of the dispensing volumes a constant volume of liquid in the subsequent steps out.
  • the breadth of the first step can be dimensioned so that when reversing the direction of piston movement occurring game effects just for sure overcome and the smallest possible volume of liquid is expelled.
  • the first step size is 2 mm. Due to the equalization achieved in the following steps a very precise liquid dosage according to the set increment reached. Minimal fluid release during the first step leads to a maximum fluid volume for the remaining steps. As a result, a maximum number Residual steps achieved by the step size setting depends.
  • a repeater pipette enables for the first time an exact dosage and a maximum Number of dosing steps without special handling required by the user.
  • the piston advancing device is preferably a rack-and-pawl device according to DE 29 26 691 C1.
  • a rack with tooth-like can generally be used as a rack Protrusions are used including a threaded rod or a rod with circumferential grooves.
  • Incremental adjustment device comes according to the above Document preferably a slidable along the rack Barrier element, for example in the form of a tongue to use, which is the pawl engagement in the rack limited.
  • the constant step device is a further holding element have, which from a holding position in a release position is movable. In the holding position Pawl engagement prevented and enabled in the release position. The movement of the holding element is determined by the Controlled movement of the receiving body.
  • the further blocking element is controlled in the blocking position.
  • advancing the receiving body controls the blocking element in the release position.
  • the one in the holding position stops further holding element first the pawl of an intervention in the rack.
  • One with the receiving body connected stop element protrudes into the range of motion of pawl and / or the actuator with the receptacle completely pushed back in and is in the end section of the first step of the actuator and / or the pawl is pushed in the feed direction.
  • the stop element takes the receiving body in the direction of advance with, whereby the further holding element in Release position is controlled. This will in turn for the rest of the first step and / or further steps a ratchet engagement in the rack enables.
  • the further holding element is preferably an L-shaped one Lever.
  • a first leg of the lever is pivotally mounted and acts with an end support surface of the Receiving body together.
  • the second leg has the Holding surface of the holding element.
  • the first leg is preferably near its free end pivoted and the holding surface on the inside of the second leg.
  • the jack is then Can be placed on the inside of the two legs to save space.
  • the first leg at a distance of his pivot bearing be provided with a cam that cooperates with a support surface of the receiving body.
  • the stop element can be in a holding position over the further retaining element protruding projection of the rack be.
  • the stop element can also be one of the receiving body protruding and in the range of motion of the actuator protruding pin.
  • the Piston feed device slips after pushing back then the latch over the other holding element and that Actuator meets the pin.
  • the end area its movement pushes the actuating element onto the receiving body by means of the pin in the feed direction, whereby again the further holding element in the release position controlled and pawl engagement for further advancement is made possible.
  • the receiving body preferably controls the further holding element so that the pawl already during the first advance step into a certain one Tooth of the rack falls. Then the first step leads to a reproducible starting position of the Syringe plunger and for each set increment the number of possible dosages known.
  • pawl intervention in a particular tooth can be a recess of the Barrier element in the end area of the pawl movement in the direction of displacement be provided.
  • the actuator when moving in the direction of advance initially meets the Pen, and after further movement in the same direction the pawl engages in a tooth of the rack in the recess of the holding element.
  • one the only tooth exposed through the recess Stop element for advancing the receiving body be.
