Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a lifter for physically disabled people, comprising at least one height-adjustable arm from which a tension element extends, the is movable under the armpits of the person to be lifted or transported.
  • a lifter of the type mentioned at the outset can be found in WO 92/04003.
  • the known Tension element represents a rigid loop in the area in which the loop with the Body of a person to be lifted or transported comes into contact, padded is.
  • this leaves a quasi-linear contact with the lifting or lifting transport person with the result that there are pressure effects that are not only uncomfortable, but can also lead to injuries.
  • the generic lifter according to WO 92/04003 also has a knee bracket that stationary from a stand. This has the disadvantage that unfavorable Leverage in relation to a person to be lifted can result when the knee bracket has a height that is too low or too high.
  • GB 1 458 175 shows upturnable, fluid-fillable cuffs, in order to obtain a to lift lying person.
  • the cuff has an outer casing, which is turned inside out to be pushed under the person to be lifted will.
  • a dimensional stability of the cuff must be ensured since this ensures should be that the person remains in a horizontal position only by a certain amount is raised.
  • the present invention is based on the problem of a lifter of the type mentioned Kind in such a way that forces are very evenly and extensively on the body of the transporting people. It should be ensured that through the Tensile element no crushing or even injuries such as broken ribs leading pressure effects can occur. Pressure points should also be avoided which can otherwise occur with frequent use of an appropriate lifter.
  • the hose or its sections can have a diameter in the range between 5 cm and 20 cm. Not only the most diverse gases such as in particular can be used as the fluid Air are used, but also various liquids such as in particular Water. However, gaseous fluids have the advantage of being lighter in weight.
  • a tube with the specified dimensions can easily be placed under the armpits be stored by people.
  • the traction elements under both armpits as well as around the back or around the chest.
  • Due to the elasticity of the Fluid-filled hose adapts its shape ideally to the body shape of the person. The contact surface is thus large and the surface load is largely evened out and low.
  • the tube consists of fiber material such as Polyamide that is sealed with an elastomer.
  • fiber material such as Polyamide that is sealed with an elastomer.
  • Such hoses are also known as fire hoses.
  • the fiber material is covered by an inside and / or outside applied coating sealed.
  • This coating can be made of a rubber-like Material exist, which is applied in particular by vulcanization.
  • the inner coating has the advantage that the coating due to the internal pressure of the fluid is pressed against the tube wall made of fiber material.
  • the outer coating has the Advantage that it also forms a smooth washable outer cover.
  • the hose is on its The ends are sandwiched between two strips. Especially when the hose is coated on the inside with an elastomer, the hose ends are already small Clamping forces well sealed.
  • the connection of the strips to one another can for example be made by rivets or screws.
  • the ends of the hose welded or glued.
  • This variant is particularly advantageous if the Hose has no inner elastomer coating.
  • the ends of the hose are preferably pressed together by folds.
  • the folds not only hold the hose together at the end, but also form a protection of the Edges against mechanical damage.
  • the folds are preferably C-shaped Profiles that are curved around the rounded end edges of the hose and on their shape are adjusted. As a result, corners and edges at the end of the hose and with it associated risk of injury avoided. The folds prevent the ends from wearing protected.
  • tabs are at the ends of the hose intended. These tabs are preferably the flattened ends of the hose crimped. The tabs are preferably between sealing surfaces and end edges arranged, the surface between the terminal strips or the sealing surface welded or glued surface is to be understood.
  • At least one tab there is preferably another between at least one tab and one suspension point Arranged tension element such as belt or tape, which is variable in length.
  • tension element such as belt or tape
  • the Use of flanges for the production of the tabs has the advantages that the edge of the Tab is protected from damage and the opening of the tab is rounded so that the other tension element is only exposed to a slight abrasion.
  • the Arranging the tabs outside the sealing surfaces has the advantage that the tabs themselves do not need to be fluid tight.
  • Lifters of the type described in the introduction are particularly intended for physically disabled people Lift people like wheelchair users from a sitting position and move them and then again to another seat, for example that of a toilet facility.
  • the tension element is tightened and the person is lifted.
  • the position of the lifting arm at which the person begins to lift off depends on how tall the person is and how high the seat is above the floor. As a result, the direction of pull is different. That can lead to that in particular tall people are less lifted than their upper body is pulled forward.
  • Wheelchair users will usually not be able to stretch their legs themselves Buttocks not raised, but in the worst case pulled forward, so that the danger the person falls off the seat. To counteract this danger, it is known to attach a knee bracket to the support to support the knees.
  • a lifter of the type described above with a knee holder is characterized by that both the lifting arm and the knee bracket from one using an electric motor or a hand crank, height-adjustable support of the lifter.
  • the support can consist of a longitudinal profile such as a square tube, around which a second Longitudinal profile is arranged like a square tube, the first longitudinal profile by means of a Motor gear unit is adjustable and that the axis of the lifting arm and the knee bracket start from the second longitudinal profile.
  • a seated person is lifted as follows: the lifter is retracted Support and lowered lifting arm in front of the person. The person puts their feet on Stand attached preferably slightly inclined foot surfaces and folds the tension element her body. The length of the support is increased until the tension member is tight around the body lies. The traction element is tightened by swiveling the lifting arms further up. By further Swiveling the lifting arms up, the person is lifted up. Now either Seat can be replaced or the lifter together with the person to a different location be transported. In conclusion, by lowering the lifting arm and If the support is shortened, lower it back to a seat, the tension element from the suspension point loosened and the lifter removed.
  • a hanging member with at least one end of the Traction element indirectly or directly connected, the hanger a Has recess that has a nipple or hook attached to the suspension point can be attached.
  • the recess can be closed on the whole or else open, so that the suspension element forms either a kind of tab or a kind of hook.
  • the recess is preferably an elongated hole with an extension for carrying out a Nipple head, the elongated hole being located near and far from the tension element Has hole ends and the extension at a distance from the more distant hole end is arranged that the nipple is distant when the tensile element is subjected to tensile stress Hole end abuts and the nipple head only against the tensile stress along the Elongated hole is slidable to the nearer end of the hole.
  • the nipple head is in his Dimensions so large that it fits through the extension, but not through the actual elongated hole.
  • the elongated hole has an angle of two Legs on, the extension being arranged in the leg that is closer to Traction element lies, and the suspension member can be suspended over the nipple in such a way that the other legs aligned vertically or obliquely upwards towards the distant end of the hole is, regardless of whether the tensile stress of the tension element vertically downwards or is directed horizontally from the suspension point towards the person.
  • a lifter (10) for lifting or transporting a physically disabled person (12) is e.g. B. horizontally on a ceiling (14) via a rail (16) by means of a rolling device (18) adjustable.
  • the rolling device (18) is connected to a rope (20) and a winch (22) Lift arm (24) connected.
  • the winch (22) winds up the rope (20) and thus shortens the Distance between the lifting arm (24) and the ceiling (14). The winds are not one shown motor driven.
