Definitions
- the invention relates to a motor vehicle filling station with a suction device for the gasification fuel gases emerging from the filling of the motor vehicle tanks by means of a gas pump, which is arranged in a gas return line running between the storage tank and a gas suction opening on the nozzle valve and which also is driven by the measuring unit driven by the fuel pump in the manner of a hydraulic motor a suction power corresponding to the amount of fuel output is driven.
- a motor vehicle filling station of the type described above is known from DE-PS 36 13 453.
- motor vehicle filling stations approximately 80 to 90% of the gases escaping from the carburetor fuels escaping from the gasoline fuels are returned to the storage tank of the filling station, although the gas return is an open, vacuum-assisted system. Since such open systems are considerably less expensive than closed systems, which do not require a gas pump and are therefore referred to as passive systems, with regard to the outlay in terms of equipment, particularly when converting and retrofitting existing petrol stations, taking existing motor vehicles into account, their use in practice is preferred.
- the invention has for its object to reduce the effort involved in the extraction of the carburetor fuel gases in both the new construction and the retrofitting in the known motor vehicle filling stations described above, if they are equipped with so-called multi-product dispensers.
- multi-product dispensers different gasoline fuels and possibly diesel fuels can be dispensed at one dispensing point, although it is not possible to dispense different types of fuel at the same time. Different types of fuel can only be dispensed one after the other.
- the petrol station has multi-product dispensers with timed delivery of only one type of fuel, in which all of the gas return lines emanating from the gas intake opening of the dispensing valves for dispensing the different carburettor fuels, with the activation of one shut-off valve together, to the suction nozzle are connected to the gas pump, the pressure port of which is connected to a gas line connecting all storage tanks for gasoline fuels and which is driven by a gearbox connecting all measuring units for outputting the different gasoline fuels to the gas pump by the fuel pump switched on for the respective dispensing process.
- the effort required for collecting the gases of the carburetor fuels emerging from the motor vehicle tanks is reduced to a single gas pump per multi-product gas pump, which is connected to the fuel pump put into operation for the respective fueling operation via a gear connected to all measuring units for dispensing carburetor fuels is drivable and the intake manifold is connected to the associated nozzle by means of a gas return line.
- a shut-off valve is arranged in each of these gas return lines. Of these shut-off valves, only the one whose tap valve is put into operation is opened.
- These shut-off valves are electrically or hydraulically controlled and are arranged before the transition into the fueling hoses, which preferably run coaxially for fuel or gas delivery, or in the fueling valve.
- the development according to the invention thus reduces the outlay for the extraction of the gasoline fuel gases in the case of multi-product dispensers in an open system to a minimum. Since all storage tanks for carburettor fuels are connected to a gas line in which the pressure line coming from the gas pump opens, there is in any case sufficient volume available for returning the extracted gases.
- the transmission is formed by all measuring units with gear trains connecting the gas pump, each of which is connected to the associated measuring unit by engaging a freewheel.
- the multi-product dispenser shown schematically in FIGS. 1 and 2 in the exemplary embodiment comprises a three-part, cupboard-like lower part 1, next to which five column-like dispensing hose housings 2 are arranged; there is also a housing 3, in which the display devices are accommodated, which for clarity have not been shown in the drawing.
- the dispensing hose housing 2 each have a receptacle for a dispensing valve 4, which is arranged at the end of a preferably double-walled dispensing hose 5.
- the motor vehicle filling station of the exemplary embodiment which is designed as a multi-product petrol pump, is composed of a modular system.
- it each includes a tap for normal gasoline, unleaded premium gasoline, unleaded superplus gas, leaded premium gasoline and diesel.
- a fuel pump 7a or 7b or 7c or 7d or 7e is assigned to each of the storage tanks 6a to 6e, which pumps the fuel drawn in from the storage tanks 6a to 6e via a measuring unit 8a or 8b or 8c or 8c or 8d or 8e through a nozzle 5a or 5b or 5c or 5d or 5e to the associated nozzle 4a or 4b or 4c or 4d or 4e.
- FIG. 3 shows a gas suction opening 10 which is connected to the suction nozzle 12a of a gas pump 12 via a gas return line 11a.
- this gas pump 12 When this gas pump 12 is operated, the gasifier fuel gases escaping from it when a motor vehicle tank is being filled are sucked in in this way.
- the schematic representation in FIG. 3 shows such a motor vehicle tank 13, in the tank neck of which the nozzle valve 4a is inserted.
- the nozzle valves 4b, 4c and 4d are also connected to the suction port 12a of the gas pump 12 via a gas return line 11b or 11c or 11d.
- a shut-off valve 14a or 14b or 14c or 14d is arranged, which is controlled electrically and / or hydraulically.
- These shut-off valves 14a to 14d can also be integrated in the respective nozzle valve 4a to 4d.
- the nozzle 4e Since, in contrast to the output of carburetor fuels, hardly any fuel gases are produced when diesel fuels are dispensed, the nozzle 4e is not equipped with a gas return line.
- the pressure port 12b of the gas pump 12 is connected via a gas line 12c to the storage tanks 6a, 6b, 6c and 6d, which contain gasoline fuels.
- a connection of the gas pump 12 to the storage tank 6e for diesel is not provided.
- a flame arrester filter 9 is arranged in each case in the suction nozzle 12a and behind the pressure nozzle 12b.
- the gas pump 12 is connected to the measuring units 8a, 8b, 8c and 8d by means of a gear train 15a, 15b, 15c and 15d.
- the connection of the gear trains 15a to 15d connected in series takes place in each case via a freewheel.
- FIG. 3 also shows that each measuring unit 8a to 8e is assigned a pulse generator 16a to 16e, with the aid of which the quantity of liquid dispensed is detected.
- normal gasoline is dispensed from the storage tank 6a via the dispensing hose 5a and through the dispensing valve 4a into the motor vehicle tank 13.
- the fuel is sucked in by the fuel pump 7a out of the storage tank 6a and pumped through the dispensing hose 5a into the motor vehicle tank 13 via the measuring unit 8a.
- the gases that are pushed out in the motor vehicle tank 13 by the inflowing fuel and that arise during the dispensing process are sucked in at the dispensing valve 4 a with the help of the gas suction opening 10. This suction takes place with the help of the gas pump 12 via the gas return line 11a.
- the shut-off valve 14a is open, whereas the shut-off valves 14b to 14d are closed.
- the suctioned gasifier fuel gases are fed to the storage tanks via the pressure connection 12b of the gas pump 12 via the pipe system.
- the gas pump 12 is driven by the fuel pump 7a, which drives the gas pump 12 via the associated measuring unit 8a, with the aid of the gear train 15a.
- the gear trains 15b, 15c and 15d connected in series with this gear train 15a are ineffective in this case, since they are each connected to the associated measuring unit 8b or 8c or 8d via a freewheel.

Description
- Fig. 1
- eine Seitenansicht einer Mehrprodukten-Zapfsäule,
- Fig. 2
- Fig. 3
8c bzw. 8d verbunden sind.
