Definitions
- the invention relates to an adjustable harness guide for the jacquard machine of a seam weaving machine, in which the harness cords are passed through a harness board and pulled back by tension springs which are fastened in a tension spring grate.
- the shed is located between the tension spring grate and the harness board.
- a harness guide of this type and for this purpose is described in EP-A-0 236 601.
- the tension spring grate is fixed horizontally, as is the harness board.
- tension spring gratings and armor boards adapted to the thread density.
- a jacquard machine is known in which the choir boards are set up in a zigzag and foldable like a pair of Nuremberg scissors, so that the width of the choir board can be adjusted to the width of the goods.
- This is a jacquard machine of the type which is arranged above the shed and in which the harness cords are pulled down by weights.
- the invention has for its object to provide a guide for the harness cords of a jacquard machine of a seam weaving machine, which can be easily adapted to the thread density of the woven seam.
- tension spring grate and the harness board are adjustable at a variable angle to the harness cords.
- the effective width is the apparent width of the tension spring grate and the harness board when viewed parallel to the harness cords.
- the tension spring grate and the harness board are preferably made in two parts and the two parts are connected by a hinge. As a result, the change in length to be compensated for by the tension springs is smaller.
- the tension spring grate and the harness board are preferably connected to one another in such a way that their adjustment takes place synchronously.
- the tension springs are preferably rubber cords. Compared to conventional tension springs in the form of helical springs, these have the advantage that the auxiliary warp threads cannot get caught on rubber cords. Especially with high thread density, there is a risk with helical springs that the cranked auxiliary warp threads get caught in the helical springs.
- the auxiliary warp threads are cranked because they are usually removed from the fabric after heat setting.
- the jacquard machine 1 gives an overview of the arrangement of a jacquard machine in a seam weaving machine.
- This jacquard machine is a commercially available series model of an electronically controlled double-stroke open compartment jacquard machine.
- the jacquard machine 1 is in normal position, i.e. with armor cords 3 emerging on the underside installed below the working or fabric level 2.
- Deflection rollers 4 deflect the harness cords 3 by 90 ° into the horizontal plane.
- the harness cords 3 are then gradually diverted vertically upwards from the horizontal by a plurality of choir boards 5 offset at an angle to one another.
- the design of the deflection device is arbitrary in itself. For space reasons, staggered choir boards are used for the second 90 ° deflection.
- the harness cords 3 are then guided through a harness board 8 to eyelets 22, which are located in the tissue plane 2.
- the eyelets 22 are suspended from a grating 7 by tension springs in the form of lycra counter-pulls 6 (
- the eyelets 22 have an opening 23 in the middle through which the cranked auxiliary warp threads 24 run. At the lower and upper ends, the eyelet 22 also has openings 25, 26 through which the harness cord 3 or the lycra counter-pull 6 is guided.
- the eyelets 22 are designed so that the opening 23 for the insertion of the auxiliary warp threads 24 has the largest possible radius in the auxiliary warp direction on both sides. Since the auxiliary warp threads 24 from are removed from the fabric to be connected by means of the woven seam, they are cranked and could therefore hook into the opening 23 if this has edges that are too small in radius. The fact that the edges of the opening 23 are rounded with a large radius ensures a highly reproducible auxiliary warp thread tension at the selvedge, which is advantageous for a continuous, low-interference seam weaving process.
- a tunnel 14 is formed in a known manner from the endless fabric 10, within which the jacquard machine 1 is moved on rollers 11 in accordance with the progress of the woven seam.
- the grate 7 and the harness board 8 are designed to be tiltable relative to the direction of the harness cords 3.
- the grate 7 and the harness board 8 are foldable in the middle, so that they consist of two halves articulated by a hinge 12, 13. The axes of the hinges 12, 13 run in the direction of the auxiliary warp threads of the seam weaving compartment.
- An adjusting device 15 is provided above the tension spring grate 7, which has a threaded spindle 16 which is rotatably mounted in a bearing block 17 connected to the frame of the seam weaving machine and can be rotated by means of a handwheel 18.
- the threaded spindle 16 moves a stool 19, which in turn engages tabs 20 on the lateral ends of the two halves of the tension spring grate 7.
- the grate can thus be rotated by turning the handwheel 18 7 from an open position in which the two halves lie in one plane are brought into a more or less folded position in which the two halves of the grate 7 are at an adjustable angle to one another and to the direction of the harness cords 3.
- the movement of the grate 7 is transmitted to the harness board 8 via a linkage 21, so that it opens or folds in the same way as the grate 7. This ensures that the harness cords between the grate 7 and the harness board 8 run parallel .
- the harness width is maximum and the density of the warp threads is minimal, e.g. 42 warp threads per cm.
- the harness width can be reduced to about up to 60%, which then corresponds to a warp thread density of 70 / cm. Intermediate values are of course also possible.

Description
- Fig. 1
- in einer schematischen Darstellung die Anordnung einer Jacquardmaschine bei einer Nahtwebmaschine;
- Fig. 2
- die Harnischführung bei maximaler Harnischbreite;
- Fig. 3
- die Harnischführung bei minimaler Harnischbreite;
