Definitions
- Storage system especially for a parking garage for automatic parking and unparking of vehicles
- the invention relates to a storage system with a plurality of parking spaces arranged at least one above the other, a lifting station for transporting an object brought into an entry point by means of a carrying pallet to one of the parking spaces and back again to an exit point, and a pallet transfer device provided in the lifting station for horizontal longitudinal displacement of the Pallets in and out of the lifting station, especially for a parking garage for automatic parking and unloading of vehicles.
- a guide rail extending in the longitudinal direction of the carrying pallet is attached to the underside of each carrying pallet.
- the pallet transfer device is provided with gripping wheels which can be placed on opposite sides of the guide rail and can be lifted off the latter again.
- the gripping wheels can be driven to move the pallet, while they can be locked in a certain position to hold the pallet.
- the gripper wheels are lifted off the guide rail so that the pallet transfer device can be moved back into the lifting station.
- the object of the invention is to further simplify the 5 pallet transfer device of the storage system and, in particular, to reduce the outlay on equipment.
- the pallet transfer device as the drive element for the carrying pallet has at least one form-fitting endless drive running in the displacement direction of the carrying pallet, which is guided around two deflection wheels and can be driven in both directions by means of a motor Endless drive
- a coupling device is provided for the automatic and detachable connection of the endless drive to the supporting pallet and that the entire pallet transfer device including the endless drive in the longitudinal direction of the respective supporting Q pallet is a bit out of the lifting station in the direction of the respective parking space or the entry or exit Starting point is movable.
- the 25 pallet transfer device as well as its drives and coupling elements can be manufactured with extremely little effort. At the same time, the masses to be moved are relatively small, so that the overall construction becomes lighter and only relatively low driving forces 30 are required.
- the endless drive is preferably designed as a toothed belt which is guided around two toothed pulleys.
- a differently designed endless drive for example an endless chain.
- the pallet transfer device preferably has in the longitudinal displacement direction of the pallet movable frame on which the endless drive serving to move the pallets and its drive are mounted.
