Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for generating Bristle bundles for the production of bristle goods with a shaft-like magazine that has a larger stock of cut to length and roughly in parallel picks up layered bristles, and with at least one tubular bundle gripper at the mouth opening the desired cross section of the bristle bundle has corresponding internal cross-section which in the Magazine is retractable and at least one bundle of bristles separated from the bristle stock (e.g. DE-A-2 335 468).
- bristle goods are not just brushes, brooms, brushes of conventional construction, with a handle, handle or the like and one understood with the bristle holder covered with bristles, but also bristle elements of any kind in which for example, the bristles made of plastic melting one end into a bristle strip, Bristle pack or the like summarized are.
- the bristle bundles can be in the form of a Endless strand fed and only immediately at the Manufacturing station, if necessary after manufacturing the bristle goods can be cut to the desired size.
- so-called short cuts become, i.e. the bristles are already in front of the production station to the desired size, if necessary with machining allowance, cut and then the cut ones Bristles are fed to the production station in bundles.
- the invention is concerned only with the latter Technology.
- the other and mainly practiced version shows a bundle gripper with a muzzle edge, the runs perpendicular to the bristles in the magazine and in which the outer wall is conical towards the edge of the mouth is tapered so that the rim of the mouth is ideally a is a linear edge. So the probability that the bristles are axially displaced through the mouth edge are severely restricted (DE 23 35 468, 25 11 661, 26 46 048, 28 00 146, EP 0 159 996, US 3 563 609). Nevertheless, there are also disturbances to the aforementioned Art.
- the invention is based on the object at the outset to further develop said device so that achieved a uniform filling level in the bundle gripper and also when entering the magazine and when Extending the bundle gripper adjacent to the bundle gripper Bristles are not affected.
- the solution of the invention task is that the Bundle gripper is driven to rotate about its axis.
- the transfer of the bristles from the magazine into the bundle gripper is further improved in that the bundle gripper on the inside from the mouth opening a short axial length and then extended an axially parallel over most of its axial length Wall forming an opposite the mouth opening has a larger internal cross-section.
- This embodiment is based on knowledge from that when the bundle gripper is moved into the magazine neither a thinning, nor in particular a compression of the Bristle packing should take place to avoid fluctuating friction across the bundle cross section and in immediate neighborhood to this in the bristle stock avoid. It is therefore assumed that a bundle gripper whose cross-section at the mouth opening corresponds to the desired cross section of the bristle bundle, in particular, therefore, does not compress the bristles that are picked up. So when pulling in the bundle gripper First, the one that loosely fills the desired cross-section Number of bristles separated from the bristle supply.
- Another embodiment is characterized by this from that the bundle gripper on the inside a different from the Mouth opening extending over a short axial length Axially parallel wall to which the Cross section widening, continuous curve follows.
- the bundle gripper can basically be any Have a cross-sectional shape, for example circular, oval, polygonal or the like.
- the mouth of the mouth continuous curve leading to expansion be a straight or a convex curve.
- connects to the short axially parallel separation section a conically widening section and on it again over most of the axial length axially parallel wall section.
- Another embodiment is that the bundle gripper on the inside an axially parallel over the entire length extending wall and that within the bundle gripper a mandrel is arranged in the axis of the mandrel a short length in the area of the mouth of the Bundle gripper a thickening with an axially parallel contour and at its free end protruding from the bundle gripper has a taper.
- the bristles adjacent to the bristles to be separated from the supply Bristles are thus at the beginning of the running-in process Bundle grabs increasingly and continuously to the outside displaced and can thus the separation process, in particular the bristles lying outside in the bundle no longer influence vigorously. Due to the deflector effect at the beginning of the running-in process it is also avoided that the bristles adjacent to the separated bundle axially be acted upon and ousted.
- the bundle gripper on a short Length in the area of the mouth opening on the outside Axially aligned profile has.
- the profile is preferably from the circumference of the bundle gripper equidistant troughs formed.
- the training is advantageously made such that the Troughs have a part-circular cross-section. It can be provided that the troughs are formed in this way are that they are on the edge of the circular mouth opening leak.
- Another embodiment is characterized by this from that the bottom of the troughs face down towards the mouth opening tapered conical surface. Transfer to the previously described embodiment means this is that the conical surface at the edge of the mouth opening runs out, this in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the bundle gripper.
- Another embodiment stands out characterized in that the conical surface on which the bottom of the Troughs lies, which is formed by the mouth opening Penetrates cylinder surface so that the edge of the mouth opening is crown-like.
- the edge of the mouth does not open its entire circumference at the same time on the ends of the Bristles in the magazine, but this process is "stretched" in time, namely to the period which the bundle gripper needs to match that of the axial Corresponding depth of the crown-like profile of the opening edge Way to go.
- the mouth opening opposite end of the bundle gripper has narrow channels connected to a vacuum source are.
- the pressurization of the bristles at its rear end in the bundle gripper is in itself known (DE 28 49 510).
- it can do its job there insufficiently fulfilled since the bundle gripper on its Mouth opening is cut obliquely with the result that an increasingly narrowing free one during the running-in process Cross section remains open and there due to the negative pressure an air flow with constantly during the running-in process increasing flow velocity is present can lead to the last ones entering the bundle gripper Bristles in front of the other bristles in the bundle gripper be drawn in, so in the final state none Uniform bristle protrusion on the bundle gripper is guaranteed.
- the bristle bundle picked up by the bundle gripper must be on be handed over to the production station. This can be done happen that the bundle gripper at the same time as a means of transport serve and the bundle directly at the manufacturing station passed and the attachment of the bundle on Bristle holder is made when the bundle is still located in the bundle gripper (DE 26 46 048, DE 23 35 368).
- EP 0 149 996, DE 28 08 966 is a termination within the bundle gripper forming piston provided for ejecting the bristle bundle, the bundle gripper along its entire length has a constant cross section.
- the piston has a larger internal cross section of the bundle gripper has a corresponding cross section and within the bundle gripper of the wall thereof closely fitting at most up to the approach of the mouth opening leading steady curve is slidable.
- the bundle gripper can, as is also known per se, as a holder for the bristle bundle during its further processing, if necessary also as a means of transport to the Serve manufacturing station.
- this is the bristle stock separated bristle bundles only in one direction, namely moving in the direction of entry.
- the bundle gripper carries along the picked up bristle bundle on the entry side opposite side of the magazine. It does not apply thus the pulling back of the bundle gripper and the itself resulting malfunctions (taking bundles from the bristle supply, bristles get caught Bristle bundle etc.). Even when handing it over to the production station the bundle moves by means of the piston always in the same direction.
- the guide is designed as a holder for the bristle bundle and the bundle of bristles can be fixed in the guide.
- the bristle bundle passed from the bundle gripper to the guide is also fixed in the leadership to get it in to bring a reproducible manufacturing position or to keep in this.
- the guide can have a cross section, for example of the guide channel narrowing and the bristle bundle have clamping device.
- Another embodiment is emerging characterized in that the leadership or another leadership has a plurality of guide channels, at least in the area of the exit end of the bristles at an angle to one another are arranged and in which the bristle bundles at the transfer to one of your desired positions at the Bristle goods corresponding position are deflectable.
- the bundle from the Bundle gripper directly into the piston Guide channels inserted at the production station and at least in the area of its fastening-side end their original axis are deflected.
- the bundle can be placed in any angular position brought to each other and / or to the bristle carrier.
- the pistons different Show end positions in the bundle grabs and the Bundles correspondingly different distances into the guide channels insert to bristle bundles of different lengths to get on the bristle goods.
- the guide channels different protruding bundle ends in cut off a common plane, so that in the Guide channels and, if applicable, the bundle grippers Bundles of different lengths are created, which are then attached to the trimmed end to be connected to the bristle holder.
- the user-side envelope surface can be Contour the bristle ends as desired.
- the two aforementioned embodiments can be combine with each other in that the bristle bundle by means of the pistons in a first guide with formation of a protrusion on the opposite side is different pushed far in and the excess cut off and that before the interface a further guidance with at least on the opposite Retractable side guide channels into which the bundles of bristles can be inserted.
- Another design option is that the leading face of the piston for contouring the ends of the bundles of bristles differ from the plane Has contour.
- the bristles can be within a bundle concave or convex at the usage end or be contoured in some other way so that in connection with the aforementioned embodiments according to the invention trained device for manufacturing any contours on the usable area of a brush can be generated.
- the bottom of the magazine Floor is designed as a vibrating floor the bristle supply or a part of it loosening vibration is displaceable.
- This design ensures that the vibrating wall section only those bristles axially acted upon, for example, when retracting the Bundle grabs - over those otherwise lying on one level Stick out bristle ends.
- the bristles against the opposite wall of the Magazine be compressed because the shortest distance between the fixed wall and the swinging wall section in any case, is always greater than the bristle length.
- the equalization of the bristle pack within the Magazine at least in the area of the bundle grippers, as well ensuring the fluidized condition of the bristles serves the further measure, according to which across the bristles and above the bundle gripper in the magazine retractable compartment is provided that the Weight of the bristle stock stored above the bundle gripper records.
- the compartment is opened immediately after the Bundle gripper and the bristles sliding into it Magazine retracted with the result that only the one below bristles located by the vibration of the bottom of the Magazine are loaded and also defined relationships regarding the bristle pack only in the area the bundle gripper must be generated.
- the is in the range of Bundle gripper existing bristle stock in terms of load completely from the bristle stock above separated at least during the removal process.
- the device according to the invention permits production of bristle goods in a particularly simple manner and high quality.
- the bristle bundles at one end in the area melted the mouth opening of the bundle gripper and with one likewise melted at least in some areas Bristle carriers brought together so can this method with the device according to the invention thereby improve that the bundle with the mouth opening of the bundle gripper pushed flush and into the bundle gripper are melted into it and that at Bringing together bristle bundles and bristle carriers Bundle gripper placed tightly on the bristle holder and the bundle of bristles is pressed by means of the piston.
- This process can still be optimized by that the bundle gripper with its mouth opening - including the melt of the bristle bundle and bristle carrier - is placed tightly on the bristle carrier.
- the use of the device according to the invention results in procedurally, the possibility of that on the bristle carrier with a pre-formed recess at least one protruding from the bottom of the recess Is formed that the bristle bundle with the Mouth opening of the bundle gripper butted flush and in the bundle gripper into it, forming a recess is melted that at least the projection in the Melted near the surface and the bundle with its melted depression by means of the piston pressed into the recess and on the projection becomes.
- the melt or Fusion connection of bristle bundle and bristle carrier in the bristle carrier moved in, so that also this way a clean bundle finish on the bristle carrier with sufficient fastening length of the bundle results on the bristle holder.
- FIGS. 1-15 serve only for explanation.
- FIG 1 the lower part of a magazine 1 is for Length of cut bristles 2 recognizable.
- the bristles 2 are stored in parallel in magazine 1.
- the magazine 1 is shaft-like and has parallel Walls 3, 4 and a floor 5.
- the distance of the Walls 3, 4 is slightly larger than the length of the bristles 2.
- the magazine is filled from above and the weight of the incorporated bristles from the bottom 5.
- a group of bundle grippers 6 is arranged which a movable carrier 7 sit.
- the bundle grippers 6 are tubular, for example cylindrical. However, you can also use any other cross-sectional shape exhibit.
- the rear end of the bundle grippers 6 is formed by a piston 8 each.
- the pistons 8 sit on a piston rod via a piston rod 9 10, which together with the carrier 7 of the bundle gripper 6 Movable in the axis direction shown in dashed lines is, but additionally movable relative to the carrier 7 is so that the pistons 8 dip into the bundle grippers 6 can.
- the bundle gripper 6 can with the carrier 7 and the carrier 10 can be moved up to the magazine.
- the wall 3 of the magazine 1 has openings 11, the cross section of which corresponds to the outer cross section of the bundle gripper 6. By these openings 11 can the bundle gripper 6 in the magazine 1 can be retracted. In doing so, each bundle gripper 6 a number of bristles 2 each forming a bundle separated from the stock stored in magazine 1 and picked up by the bundle gripper 6 during the retracting movement.
- the opposite wall 4 of the magazine 1 points in the area the bundle gripper 6 has a wall section 12, that vibrates in the direction of extension of the bristles is relocatable.
- the wall section 12 serves to store the Bristles 2 in the work area of the bundle grippers 6 to move towards the wall 3 to hold it on her to butt the wall section 12 end flush.
- the wall section 12 is arranged so that it in each Vibration position from the opposite wall 3 a distance which is little larger than the bristle length. This can be seen, for example, from those in FIG Limit stops 13 are ensured.
- the bottom 5 of the magazine 1 is, as is also schematic indicated, vibratable, the direction of vibration is approximately vertical. This will make the stored Bristles 2 vibrated to a uniform packing density to achieve.
- the bristles 2 by means of the bottom 5 "fluidized" in a kind of vibrating state.
- Compartment 14 arranged, as can be seen in Figure 2, are designed as narrow lances and in line Openings 15 in opposite end walls of the magazine 1 are retractable. You take the weight of the above of the working area of the bundle gripper 6 Stock of bristles. To the loosening effect the vibrating floor 5 on the in the work area Bundle gripper 6 lying bristles come fully into effect to let, the compartment 14 can also be lifted and be lowered. You become the bundle gripper before each working stroke 6, that is to say roughly in the operating state shown in FIG. 1 retracted and raised. In this position the compartments remain at least until the bundle grippers 6 have completed their work stroke. Subsequently they are extended so that after extending the bundle gripper 6 the bristles from the upper area of magazine 1 can slide.
- the guide 16 On the side opposite the bundle grabs a guide 16 with parallel guide channels 17 is arranged, the one with the bundle grippers 6 on the opposite Align side.

- Figures 3 and 4 show partial sections of an embodiment of the bundle gripper 6.
- the free cross section A of the bundle gripper 6 in the area of the mouth opening 22 determines the cross section of the bundle in a packing density, as in the lower area of the magazine 3 is present.
- the bundle gripper 6 this cross section A over a short axial length C.
- the inner wall deviates from the cross section A.
- FIG Bundle gripper 6 at its front end 21 additionally provided with a deflector 24, which by exclusively outside enlargement of the wall thickness has been obtained is.
- the deflector 24 thus forms one on the outside Thickening in the axial direction of a continuous Curve is formed, which at the mouth opening 22nd starts and extends over a short axial length, to then go back into the smaller outside diameter of the bundle gripper 6.
- the piston 8 Around this also in the bundle receiving space 26 to effect, the piston 8 with a variety provided by holes 27 with a very small diameter. The diameter is particularly smaller than that the bristles.
- the negative pressure in room 25 supports the Inclusion of the bristles in room 26. This can be done in this way be that the piston 8 in the starting position (see Figure 1) has moved forward and accordingly the retraction speed of the bundle gripper 6 returns, so that all bristles separated from the bundle gripper support be sucked in.
- Figure 6 shows a modified compared to Figures 1 and 2 Execution of the device, the magazine 1 however is not shown for the sake of clarity.
- the embodiment is the front end face 28 of the Piston 8 dome-shaped, so that the bundle gripper 6 bundles 29 picked up on the end face 28 of the piston 8 facing end is contoured by when pushing the bundle 29 out of the bundle gripper 6 the bristles 2 are shifted axially to one another within the bundle will.
- the pistons can be different long piston rods 9 (see middle piston 8 in figure 6) be arranged or perform strokes of different lengths, so that when the bundle 29 is handed over from the bundle grippers 6 to the guide 16, the bundles 29 at their ends on the one hand contoured, for example the ends on one spherical surface, on the other hand the bundle 29 after transfer to the guide channels 17 of the guide 16 project differently over the leadership. Thereby So can the envelope of all bundles of one Contour bristle trimmings.
- the bundles 29 on their the guide 16 on the opposite side projecting ends by means of a cutting device 30 cut flush.
- the Guide channels 32 not or only partially with the guide channels in the guide 16.
- the outer channels 32 run at an angle to the guide channels 17.
- the bundles then at least partially at the opposite end be deflected into an angular position. In this position they can be attached to a bristle carrier 33 (FIG. 8) be so that the schematic shown there Bristle trim results in the bundle 29 at an angle to each other are employed, the end of each bundle is contoured and the ends of all bundles in turn in one contoured envelope surface.
- FIG. 9 shows another embodiment of the bundle gripper 6 shown. It is used to make bundles with an axial channel free of bristles.
- a mandrel 34 in the axis of the bundle gripper 6 arranged, which projects beyond its mouth opening 22 End is tapered to a rounded tip 35.
- the piston 8 is guided on the mandrel 34.
