Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kasten, insbesondere Farbkasten mit einem nach oben offenen Gefach, das durch einen schwenkbar am Kasten gelagerten Deckel verschließbar ist, wobei der Deckel durch einen lösbaren Verschluß in der Schließstellung festhaltbar ist, der in der Schließstellung formschlüssig ineinander greifende Verschlußelemente aufweist und wobei der Verschluß mit Hilfe einer in einer Aussparung im Randbereich des Deckels vorgesehenen, von oben zu betätigenden Drucktaste lösbar ist, die um eine Achse schwenkbar am Kasten befestigt ist.
  • Ein Kasten der eingangs genannten Art ist in Form einer Schminkdose aus der FR-A-2 624 359 bekannt. Bei der bekannten Schminkdose ist der Deckel in der Schließstellung durch einen Schnappverschluß gehalten, der aus einem an der Unterseite des Deckels befestigten, elastisch verformbaren Haken und einer an dem Dosenunterteil angebrachten Raste besteht. Auf dem Dosenunterteil ist eine Drucktaste nach Art einer Wippe schwenkbar befestigt, die in eine Aussparung auf der Unterseite des Deckels eingreift. Wird die Drucktaste von oben niedergedrückt, so hebt sie mit ihrem in der Aussparung befindlichen Ende den Deckel an, wobei die Haltekraft des Schnappverschlusses überwunden wird. Zum Öffnen des Dekkels ist daher eine im wesentlichen der Haltekraft des Schnappverschlusses entsprechende Betätigungskraft an der Drucktaste erforderlich.
  • Aus der DE-U-86 14 126 ist weiterhin ein Farbkasten bekannt, der an seiner Stirnfläche eine federnde Lasche aufweist, die den Rand des geschlossenen Deckels untergreift und einen Vorsprung aufweist, der quer zur Öffnungsrichtung des Deckels in eine Vertiefung im Rand des Deckels einrastet. Durch einen Druck auf die Lasche läßt sich diese zur Kastenmitte soweit verformen, daß der Vorsprung aus der Vertiefung im Rand des Deckels heraustritt und der Deckel aufgeklappt werden kann. Die Lasche ist bei dem bekannten Farbkasten an einer unter dem Gefach angeordneten Schublade angebracht, die ein zweites Gefach bildet. Durch die Anordnung der Schublade ergibt sich an der Kastenstirnseite eine ausreichende Bauhöhe für die Anordnung der Lasche.
  • Weiterhin ist auch aus der GB-A- 1 128 715 ein Kasten mit einem Deckel bekannt, der mit einem federnd vorgespannten Scharnier gehalten ist, durch das der Deckel aus der Schließstellung in die Offenstellung bewegbar ist. In der Schließstellung wird der Deckel durch einen Schnappverschluß gehalten, der durch eine an der Seitenwand des Kastenunterteils verschiebbar angebrachte Drucktaste lösbar ist.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, einen Kasten der eingangs genannten Art mit einem Verschluß zu versehen, der sich auch bei geringer Bauhöhe des Kastens leicht betätigen läßt.
  • Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Verschlußelemente an dem Deckel und an der Drucktaste vorgesehen sind und daß das Verschlußelement an der Drucktaste durch Verschwenken der Drucktaste von dem Verschlußelement des Deckels entfernbar ist.
  • Mit der Erfindung wird ein Kasten mit einem einfach herzustellenden Verschluß geschaffen, der eine in der Deckelfläche liegende Drucktaste aufweist, die sich von oben bequem betätigen läßt. Der Verschluß ist dabei vorteilhaft so gestaltet, daß einerseits der Deckel sicher in der Schließstellung gehalten wird und andererseits das Öffnen nur eine geringe Betätigungskraft erfordert. Um das Öffnen des Kastens allein durch Betätigen der Drucktaste zu ermöglichen, können erfindungsgemäß federnde Mittel vorgesehen sein, die den Deckel nach dem Öffnen des Verschlusses anheben. Die Verschlußelemente können vorteilhaft so ausgebildet sein, daß sie durch Schließen des Deckels ineinander rastbar sind. Zum Schließen des Kastens ist daher ein Betätigen der Drucktaste nicht erforderlich.
  • In einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung der Erfindung kann weiterhin vorgesehen sein, daß die Drucktaste an einer Ecke des Kastens angeordnet ist und daß die Form des Deckels in der Offenstellung von seiner in der Schließstellung durch die Form des Kastens vorgegebenen Lage derart abweicht, daß die der Drucktaste entgegengesetzte Ecke des Schließrandes des Deckels in der Schließstellung mit Vorspannung auf dem Kasten aufliegt. Die Anordnung der Drucktaste in einer Ecke des Kastens ist vor allem für die Aufteilung des Kasteninnenraums, zum Beispiel bei Verwendung als Farbkasten, günstig, da der für die Unterbringung von Farbschälchen benötigte Raum an der Längsseite des Kastens freibleibt. Die Vorspannung, die beim Schließen des Deckels durch den Unterschied zwischen seiner Form und der ihm in der Schließstellung aufgezwungenen Lage hervorgerufen wird, gewährleistet bei der Position des Verschlusses in einer Ecke eine gleichmäßige Auflage des Deckels auf dem Kasten und bewirkt gleichzeitig ein Anheben des Deckels an der Verschlußecke, wenn der Verschluß durch Niederdrükken der Drucktaste geöffnet wird. Der Verschluß bleibt dadurch auch nach dem Loslassen der Drucktaste geöffnet. Erfindungsgemäß können auch an beiden Ecken der Öffnungsseite des Kastens Drucktasten vorgesehen sein, wobei die in der Schließstellung erzeugte Vorspannung des Deckels zweckmäßig so gestaltet wird, daß beim Öffnen der Verschlüsse beide Ecken des Deckels angehoben werden.
  • Eine einfache Herstellung des Kastens wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch ermöglicht, daß die Drucktaste in einer Aussparung des Kastens angeordnet ist und an einer Seite durch einen elastisch verformbaren Steg mit der Bodenplatte des Kastens verbunden ist. Die Drucktaste kann hierbei sowohl einstückig mit dem Kasten hergestellt werden und auch nachträglich durch geeignete Verbindungsmittel mit dem Kasten verbunden werden. Eine besonders einfache und kostengünstige Ausgestaltung wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, daß die Drucktaste aus einem gemeinsam mit dem Kasten im Spritzgießverfahren hergestellten Hohlkörper besteht, dessen Kernöffnung auf der Kastenunterseite liegt.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt und wird im folgenden näher beschrieben. Es zeigen
    • Figur 1 eine Ansicht eines erfindungsgemäß ausgestalteten Farbkastens in aufgeklappter Lage und
    • Figur 2 einen Teilschnitt des geschlossenen Farbkastens gemäß Figur 1 entlang der Linie AB.
  • Der dargestellte Farbkasten hat eine verhältnismäßig flache, annähernd quaderförmige Form und ist durch eine etwa in der Mitte seiner Schmalseiten verlaufende Teilfuge in einen Kasten 1 und einen Deckel 2 unterteilt. Der Deckel 2 ist mit Scharnieren 3 am Kasten 1 befestigt, die so angeordnet sind, daß der Deckel 2 vollständig in die Aufstellebene des Kastens 1 umgeklappt werden kann. Im Innern des Kastens 1 sind Leisten 4 zum Befestigen von Farbschälchen angebracht. Weiterhin ist ein abgeteiltes Fach 5 zur Aufnahme von Pinseln und anderen Malwerkzeugen vorgesehen. Der Deckel 2 bildet mit seiner Innenseite eine durch Stege 6 in einzelne Schalenabschnitte unterteilte Mischpalette.
  • An einer Ecke, der den Scharnieren 3 entgegengesetzten Längsseite weist der Kasten 1 eine Eckaussparung 7 auf, die durch einen etwa quadratischen Ausschnitt in der Bodenplatte 8 und ein Entfernen der an den Ausschnitt angrenzenden Abschnitte der Seitenwände 9, 10 gebildet ist. Der Deckel 2 weist an der entsprechenden Stelle eine gleich große Eckaussparung 11 auf, die beim Schließen des Farbkastens mit der Eckaussparung 7 fluchtet. In der Eckaussparung 7 ist eine Drucktaste 12 angeordnet, deren Form und Größe im wesentlichen der ausgesparten Kastenecke entspricht. Die Drucktaste 12 ist mit der Bodenplatte 8 durch einen elastisch verformbaren Steg 13 verbunden, der sich parallel zur Seitenwand 9 erstreckt und eine Schwenkbewegung der Drucktaste 12 um eine zur Seitenwand 9 parallele Achse ermöglicht. In der an den Steg 13 angrenzenden Wand der Drucktaste 12 ist ein Schlitz 14 vorgesehen, der zur Aufnahme einer sägezahnartigen Raste 15 an dem in der Schließstellung der Drucktaste 12 benachbarten Wandabschnitt 16 des Dekkels 2 angebracht ist. Die Drucktaste 12 und die Raste 15 bilden miteinander einen Verschluß, der beim Schließen des Deckels 2 in die in Figur 2 gezeigte Stellung einrastet, in der die Raste 15 in den Schlitz 14 eingreift und durch die Drucktaste 12 festgehalten wird. Zum Öffnen des Deckels 2 wird die Drucktaste 12 von oben mit einer Druckkraft betätigt, wodurch sie unter elastischer Verformung des Steges 13 eine Schwenkbewegung im Uhrzeigersinn bezogen auf die Darstellung in Figur 2 ausführt und sich soweit von der Raste 15 entfernt, daß diese aus dem Schlitz 14 heraustritt und dadurch das Aufklappen des Deckels 2 ermöglicht.
  • Um zu erreichen, daß der Deckel 2 beim Betätigen der Drucktaste 12 mit seiner Raste 15 soweit angehoben wird, daß die Raste 15 beim anschließenden Loslassen der Drucktaste 12 nicht mehr in den Schlitz 14 eindringt, sondern in einer das Aufklappen des Deckels 2 ermöglichenden Stellung verbleibt, weicht die Form des Deckels 2 in entspanntem Zustand von der Form ab, die der Dekkel 2 vermittels elastischer Verformung erhält, wenn er in seine Schließlage gebracht wird. Die Abweichung ist derart, daß der Deckel 2 in seiner Schließlage mit der der Eckaussparung 11 entgegengesetzten Ecke 17 mit einer Vorspannkraft auf dem Kasten 1 aufliegt. Die Reaktionskraft aus dieser Vorspannkraft wird über die Raste 15 an der Drucktaste 12 abgestützt. Gibt die Drucktaste 12 beim Betätigen die Raste 15 frei, so entspannt sich der Deckel 2, wobei sein die Raste 15 tragender Bereich soweit angehoben wird, daß diese nicht mehr von allein in den Schlitz 14 eindringen kann. Nur durch ein Niederdrücken des Deckels 2 kann die Raste 15 wieder in den Schlitz 14 eingerastet werden. Die Vorspannung des Deckels 2 in der Schließstellung bewirkt außerdem eine feste Auflage und damit ein gutes Schließen des von der Drucktaste entfernten Bereichs insbesondere der Ecke 17 des Deckels 2.

Claims (6)

1. Kasten, insbesondere Farbkasten mit einem nach oben offenen Gefach, das durch einen schwenkbar am Kasten (1) gelagerten Deckel (2) verschließbar ist, wobei der Deckel (2) durch einen lösbaren Verschluß in der Schließstellung festhaltbar ist, der in der Schließstellung formschlüssig ineinander greifende Verschlußelemente (14, 15) aufweist und wobei der Verschluß mit Hilfe einer in einer Aussparung (11) im Randbereich des Deckels (2) vorgesehenen, von oben zu betätigenden Drucktaste (12) lösbar ist, die um eine Achse (13) schwenkbar am Kasten (1) befestigt ist, d a durch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verschlußelemente (14, 15) an dem Deckel (2) und an der Drucktaste (12) vorgesehen sind und daß das Verschlußelement (14) an der Drucktaste (12) durch Verschwenken der Drucktaste (12) von dem Verschlußelement (15) des Deckels entfernbar ist.
2. Kasten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß federnde Mittel vorgesehen sind, die den Deckel (2) nach dem Öffnen des Verschlusses (12, 14, 15) anheben.
3. Kasten nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Verschlußelemente (14, 15) durch Schließen des Deckels (2) ineinander rastbar sind.
4. Kasten nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Drucktaste (12) an einer Ecke (7) des Kastens (1) angeordnet ist und daß die Form des Dekkels (2) in der Offenstellung von seiner in der Schließstellung erzeugten Lage derart abweicht, daß die der Drucktaste (12) entgegengesetzte Ecke (17) des Deckels (2) in der Schließstellung mit Vorspannung auf dem Kasten (1) aufliegt.
5. Kasten nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Drucktaste (12) in einer Aussparung (7) des Kastens (1) angeordnet ist und an einer Seite durch einen elastisch verformbaren Steg (13) mit der Bodenplatte (8) des Kastens (1) verbunden ist.
6. Kasten nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Drucktaste (12) aus einem gemeinsam mit dem Kasten (1) im Spritzgießverfahren hergestellten Hohlkörper besteht, dessen Kernöffnung auf der Kastenunterseite liegt.
