Definitions

  • the invention relates to a combing element, in particular a needle or a sawtooth stamped part for spinning machines, compressed air being able to be introduced into the area of the combing tips, and to pin strips or punched part bars constructed from such combing elements.
  • Such combing elements are combined in the form of pinstripes or sawtooth bars and used in spinning machines to free fibers of wool or cotton from impurities contained therein and to align the fibers in parallel.
  • the straw parts or nits combed out of the wool or cotton are deposited on the combing elements. It can also contain short fibers and other contaminants settle in the gaps between the combing elements and thus significantly impair their combing effect.
  • the invention is based on the object of a combing element of the type mentioned above To design that a compressed air cleaning can be realized as such with as little construction effort as possible in all types of spinning machines without significant change in the conventional combing arrangements.
  • the combing element is provided with at least one compressed air channel leading from a fastening region in the direction of the tip region in the form of an impression in the combing element itself.
  • This configuration according to the invention eliminates the need to arrange separate air chambers on the combing elements, which guide the compressed air into the tip area. Rather, the combing elements can be fastened within the combing arrangement in a conventional manner, only compressed air supply lines being required up to the fastening area of the combing elements.
  • the air channels formed by the embossing can be easily implemented in the manufacturing process of the combing elements, since stamping and embossing tools are used in any case in the usual manufacturing processes.
  • the combing element is designed as a combing needle, it can be provided that the needle has a substantially rectangular or oval basic shape, and that embossments are introduced parallel to the longitudinal axis of the needle from two opposite longitudinal cross-sectional sides.
  • the combing needle accordingly has its basic shape in the Cross-section embossments, whereby the rows of several such needles complement each other to form a closed channel.
  • the impressions preferably extend from the shaft end of the needle to the area of the free needle board, so that any deposits present there are reliably removed by the air flow.
  • the impressions can have the shape of a flat V or a parabolic section, i.e. have a rounded cross-sectional shape, with longitudinal, undeformed edge regions remaining to the side of the embossments.
  • these non-deformed edge areas act like sealing lips lying flat against one another, so that a reliable sealing of the air channels formed by two impressions is achieved.
  • the non-deformed edge regions or the impressions preferably extend along the needles such that when a plurality of such needles are lined up between two needles, a compressed air channel which is closed from the shaft-side end to the area of the board of the tips is obtained.
  • the invention is also directed to a pinstripe comprising a plurality of needles and a cover plate on both sides thereof, it being provided that between the ends of the shaft which run transversely to the longitudinal direction of the needles and whose shaft-side end is upward outstanding cover plates the compressed air is fed to the compressed air ducts.
  • the cover plates can simultaneously form a compressed air supply channel on the top of the needles.
  • the invention relates to combing elements which are designed as sawtooth stamped parts, it being provided that at least one compressed air supply duct extending through a foot part of the comb segment is provided, which opens into a compressed air distribution duct.
  • compressed air channels open from the compressed air distribution channel into the valley area between two tips of the sawtooth stamped part.
  • compressed air cleaning of the tip area can also be achieved in an extremely effective and at the same time technically simple manner in the case of sawtooth stamped parts.
  • the invention is implemented in particular in such a way that at least one compressed air supply channel extending through a foot part of the comb segment is provided, which opens into a compressed air distribution channel.
  • Compressed air ducts preferably open from the compressed air distribution duct into the valley area between two tips of the sawtooth stamped part, so that a reliable removal of contaminants and short fibers deposited there is achieved.
  • a bolt comprising a plurality of sawtooth punched parts combined by at least one supporting part
  • the compressed air channels are formed by two abutting impressions of two abutting sawtooth stampings.
  • the sawtooth punched parts of such a bolt can accordingly be combined to form a bolt using conventional, proven fastening techniques and, as such bolts, can be fastened, for example, to combing segments on a combing machine.
  • FIG. 1 shows a combing element in the form of a combing needle 1, which has a shaft 2 and a tip 3 includes.
  • the shaft 2 has an essentially rectangular cross-section, both cross-sectional longitudinal sides being provided with embossments 4 which extend in the longitudinal direction from the shaft end 5 to the area of the tips 3.
  • the indentations 4 have a V-shaped cross section, with an indented, flat, lip-like edge region 6 remaining on each side of each indentation 4. If two appropriately designed combing needles 1 are placed with their cross-sectional longitudinal sides so that the flat-shaped tips 3 lie parallel to one another, then the edge regions 6 lie against one another and delimit an air channel which is diamond-shaped in cross section and is formed by two adjacent impressions 4 of adjacent needles 1 8th.
  • FIG. 2 An embodiment is shown in FIG. 2, in which the indentation 4 is rounded in cross-section and has the shape of a parabola section. Undeformed edge regions 6 are also provided there, which enable the needles 1 to be closely lined up to form air channels 8.
  • Fig. 3 shows a pinstripe 7 comprising a plurality of needles 1, as shown in Fig. 1, which are lined up with their cross-sectional long sides, so that two impressions 4 each have diamond-shaped air channels 8 in cross section.
  • Both sides of the needles 1 are in a manner known per se Cover plates 9 and 10 are provided which protrude on the upper side beyond the shaft-side end 5 of the needles 1 and extend down to the beginning of the area of the tip 3.
  • an air supply channel 11 is formed between the cover plates 9, 10 and the ends 5 of the needles 1, which can be closed at the top by a separate cover or by a support body to which the pinstrip 7 is attached. It is clear from this that the invention enables compressed air cleaning of a pinstrip 7 without having to deviate from the conventional structure of such a pinstrip 7, as described in detail, for example, in DE-OS 37 22 481.
  • a bolt 12 is shown, which is formed by a plurality of saw tooth punch parts 13 arranged side by side.
  • Each sawtooth stamped part 13 has two bores 14 and can accordingly be pushed onto two rod-shaped carrier parts 15.
  • a dovetail-shaped recess 17 is provided in the foot region 16 of each stamped part 13, in order in this way to fasten the entire bolt 12 on a supporting body, as is e.g. is described in detail in German Patent 30 07 245.
  • the sawtooth stamped parts designed according to the invention have a compressed air supply channel 18 which passes through the foot region 16 approximately radially, a compressed air distribution channel 19, and a plurality of compressed air channels 20 which branch off from the compressed air distribution channel 19 and each open into the valley 21 between two teeth 22 of the stamped parts 13.
  • These air channels 8 can also be introduced on both sides of the stamped parts 13, so that when two stamped parts 13 abut each other, the impressions 4 provided there complement each other to form a closed air channel 8 and in this way an extremely effective removal of deposits in the area of the valleys 21 between teeth 22 can be reached.
