Definitions

  • the invention relates to an air distributor underlay for a bubble bath device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the support body mentioned therein is provided with a base support part which is intended for the approximately horizontal arrangement and therefore, for example, as a base for the body region of the person lying in a bathtub, which extends approximately to the lumbar vertebrae to the feet. Furthermore, the support body is assigned a back support that is to be arranged upright or inclined, which adjoins the base support part in the case of use, for example in the longitudinal direction, and for a body part correspondingly extending in the height direction, for example for the back of the body person lying on the base support part is determined.
  • Air outlet openings are also assigned to the support body, in particular in a distribution and with a width such that a specific outlet cross section is determined per unit area of the support body as the sum of all individual cross sections of the outlet openings of this surface unit.
  • the air flowing out through the outlet openings creates air bubbles in the bathing water, which produce a more or less strong massage effect when they hit the person's skin.
  • Air distribution mats are also known, which are longer than the bathtub floor and can therefore form a back support that rests against the back wall of the bathtub and rises from the base support part, the air outlet openings being distributed over the entire length of the air distribution mat, i.e. also in the area of the back support with approximately the same specific outlet cross-section as in the area of the base support part.
  • a sprinkling device for the back is spatially essentially only or mainly assigned to the base support part.
  • the largest part of the sum of the outlet cross sections of the outlet openings for the back whirlpool device can be below half the height or length of the back or the back support or approximately at the height of the base support part.
  • the outlet openings of the back whirlpool device can also be at approximately the same hydrostatic pressure or be at approximately the same height as the outlet openings assigned to the lower body area, which leads to a substantially more uniform air outlet even in areas of the air distribution mat that are deeper below water. It is conceivable to also provide air outlet openings directly in the area of the backrest, these expediently having throttling cross sections such that they have a significantly smaller specific outlet cross section per unit area of the backrest than in the area of the base support part, or this specific outlet cross section with increasing distance from the base support part and thus also decreases with decreasing hydrostatic counter pressure.
  • a pressure reducer can also be provided in the air supply line for the openings of the backrest.
  • the specific outlet cross section is zero at least in the largest area of the backrest, that is to say no outlet openings are provided in the area of the backrest.
  • the backrest if used, only serves to keep the back of the person away from the back wall of the Bathtub and possibly as a guide body for distributing the air bubbles flowing from the base support part in the direction of the back or to the back wall of the bathtub and possibly along cavities between this back wall and the back of the person.
  • an air rinse independent of the channels closed over the circumference, in particular from the support base part, is provided.
  • a generic air distribution pad with the features described so far is disclosed in DE-C-827 391.
  • a device for whirlpools is described, in which air is blown out from a whirlpool grate in the floor level of the tub in the direction of the back area and is thus used in ascending order for back bubbling through spaces in the back slatted frame.
  • DE-C-922 849 shows a device for whirlpools in which both a backrest and a seat grate have sparkling pipes and the pipe system of the backrest and the pipe system of the seat grate are connected to one another via hose lines.
  • the invention has for its object to avoid disadvantages of the known designs and in particular to design an air distribution pad of the type mentioned so that even if, for example, intensive back fizzing is provided, sufficient air in the deeper areas of the pad, especially in the area of Basic support part emerges.
  • the backrest expediently has open to the base part, but not to the air ducts which are closed over the circumference, but which are tightly connected or continuously passing into them, which are provided with passages to the top or back contact surface of the backrest and, if appropriate, to the back wall of the bathtub, so that they essentially only have to be delimited on both sides directly by the backrest, whereas they can be delimited on the sides parallel to the level of the backrest by the back wall of the bathtub and by the back of the person.
  • air outlet directional openings are provided for back bubbling, which are provided essentially only in the region of the end of the base support part associated with the back and are essentially directed away from the other end thereof.
  • These directional openings can only be provided on the base support part or essentially only in the area of the side of the back support facing the base support part.
  • the directional openings can be aligned in a nozzle-like manner approximately parallel to the plane of the base support part or parallel to the longitudinal direction thereof, so that the air emerging from them is directed against the oppositely inclined back wall of the bathtub and the flow thus generated reflects upwards thereon can be.
  • a guiding device in the manner of a shield formed by the base part and / or the backrest can be provided, which at least partially prevents direct passage of air in the region of the bend between the base part and the backrest.
  • the air outlet openings of the base part are expediently supplied by air distribution channels which, for example, extend from the foot end of the air distribution mat in its longitudinal direction, but can also be formed by flat chambers in the base part or by its design as a multi-chamber profile.
  • the outlet openings are expediently formed directly by openings in the walls of the distribution channels, which are otherwise closed over the circumference and over their length, that is to say essentially between the underside and the upper contact surface of the base contact part, in particular on its end face facing the back support.
  • Such distribution channels are expediently not provided in the area or on the backrest according to the invention, but are replaced by the aforementioned guide devices, although distribution channels in the area of the backrest are also conceivable.
  • the back support part at least on its top facing the back of the person open areas, channels or the like. forms, which are preferably at least in the longitudinal direction of the backrest, so that the air can flow up to the neck or head of the person in addition to the back.
  • Such channels which can also be provided in the transverse direction of the backrest and can connect the longitudinal channels, act expediently with regard to the flow with the directional openings or the end of the respective associated distribution channel of the base part which has them, wherein they can be aligned with the directional openings, so that the Air emerging from the directional openings, for example, via a short The route flows freely through the water and then flows into the channels of the backrest without being influenced by lateral guide elements.
  • the backrest is designed in the manner of a grate or a relatively thick lattice or meshwork that is permeable over its thickness, so that it is evenly penetrated by air passage openings over most of its surface transverse to its plane through which the air flushing the back support can pass to the person's back.
  • the back support can be removed from the base support part, it being conceivable to make a detachable connection.
  • the backrest can also be provided without direct attachment to or in connection with the base support part and can only be secured in position by direct adhesive connection to the back wall of the bathtub. This can be done, for example, by securing members for securing the position in relation to the bathtub, in particular by at least one suction cup. Furthermore, it can only be aligned and secured by attaching or placing its associated end to or on the base support part. The backrest can thereby be removed and attached without the base-rest part having to be held, removed from the water or otherwise handled.
  • the backrest has a neck and / or headrest, which is preferably designed to be pressure-elastic in the manner of a cushioned cushion, this can also be applied to the air flow of the back bubbling, for example the air rinsing or the guiding devices of the backrest are connected and therefore air bubbles flow through to the neck or head.
  • the air distributor underlay becomes possible if the device for sprinkling the back can be switched off or switched on or switched on independently, independently of the device for the other sprinkling of the body.
  • the directional openings are expediently based on at least one separate distribution channel which can be closed by a valve.
  • a particularly advantageous arrangement results if the support body of the treatment unit with at least one actuating pedal for changing at least one parameter of the bubbling, for example the air quantity, the air pressure, the air distribution or the like. is provided.
  • This operating pedal can be arranged in a simple manner directly on the rotary valve of a control valve and practically form a foot support for one or both feet of the person lying down.
  • an air inlet connecting piece protruding above the upper side can be provided, on which, in particular, a rotary slide valve of the control valve, which is provided with two pedal wings projecting opposite one another, is mounted.
  • a closable drain opening for residual water is provided, which is preferably opened in a position of the control valve which differs from the other control positions, so that there is no separate closure the drain opening is required.
  • the air distributor underlay 1 essentially consists of a one-part or multi-part support body 2, which can be composed of a one-part or multi-part base support part 3 and a back support 4.
  • the backrest 4 is attached to the support part 3 either without a direct connection, possibly without contact via a gap or via a connecting coupling 5, and can have the same width as the support part 3, which corresponds to the inside width of a bathtub.
  • the connecting coupling 5 can have or form at least one joint with a hinge axis parallel to the plane of the base 1 and perpendicular to its longitudinal direction, so that the backrest 4 is pivoted by at least approximately 90 °, in particular 180 °, from the position parallel to the support part 3 can that it is in its end position on the top of the support part 3.
